02/03/2025: Lunch with a cutting board of excellent ham of three types accompanied by warm bread, Friulian cheeses and various side dishes. Very kind staff with the attentive direction of the "host". I also bought take-away with freshness-saving packaging. Beautiful to see the traditions that are maintained with joy and professionalism.

11/03/2025: This restaurant has a really nice atmosphere, it is a restaurant that transmits serenity, tranquility and it is a bit like you are at home. Exceptional service and staff, above all the owners know how to welcome you, and put you at ease. Francesco usually takes orders, explains the menu to you in every detail, and as far as wines are concerned he is an excellent sommelier.
11/03/2025: Exceptional lunch. Nothing to add when the quality exceeds expectations. The cjarsons are one of the best dishes I have ever tasted without a doubt. Congratulations indeed.

23/03/2025: A slightly anonymous place, tables close together and a lot of chatter from the diners.
Fast and friendly service, only cured meats, cheeses and pickles on the menu, San Daniele ham is the star player: soft, fragrant and not very salty. Among the cheeses, the soft goat's cheese is good, but the burrata and mozzarella are critical: we are in Friuli, why not offer the many dairy products typical of the area? Medium-high prices.
21/03/2025: Life is better after tasting the prosciutto here. The service is family-like, an absolute pleasure.

08/02/2025: Absolutely fantastic, cousy place. When you taste Prosciutto San Daniele, it melts in your mouth. Truly exceptional quality, best in the world. Rest of our short late lunch was also amazing, local cheeses, very tasty bread, burrata, friulian very nice white wine. Worth visit, grazie mille to the owner. Whenever we will be back in San Daniele, we will stop here again !

10/03/2025: We went to this typical tavern attracted by the beautiful photos seen online.
The food is good, you can feel the care taken in the preparation.
However, we were a little disappointed by the limited choice on the menu, which limited the experience a bit.
I understand the difficulties that can exist in managing such a business, so I still give a high score.
However, it would be an improvement to offer a few more options to make the experience even more complete.
It's a shame, because the potential is there!
28/02/2025: Very nice place with warm and welcoming atmosphere. We enjoyed excellent ham and very tasty first courses, even the second course based on chicken was really good. Recommended if you go to San Daniele

Obviously the ham is excellent, special mention for the artichokes and the desserts.
compared to some currents, there is less offer of "side dishes" and the bread basket (which given the type of consumption I believe is an important component) is not worthy of particular mention.
Friendly staff and fast but not hasty service.
The house red is excellent.

My partner Antonella and I discovered it by chance and every now and then we treat ourselves to a treat in this tavern with a family atmosphere.
Food and cuisine with broad horizons with traditional dishes revised and delicious.
Excellent cellar, courteous service, more than fair price
