28/08/2024: Ho cenato con la mia famiglia, il locale era stato consigliato dall’hotel dove alloggiavamo. Cibo ottimo, buone le materie prime, personale disponibile e gentile, menù con ampia scelta. Locale caratteristico, ex cantina, vicinissimo al centro, molto comodo per il parcheggio. Consigliaitissimo.

Table of 25 people, including 8 14-year-olds who ate ONLY 2 platters of raw ham (and I repeat 2 platters in 8, not 2 platters per person) 1 5-year-old child.... still paid the ENTIRE fixed menu of 25 €. FOLLY! It's a shame because all the raw materials are very good and the environment is very pleasant..

11/12/2024: Typical and rustic restaurant in the center of San Daniele, a stone's throw from the hospital. Excellent freshly machine-cut ham. The side dishes of mushrooms, artichokes, goat cheese and cheese are good. The bread not suited to tasting ham or other cured meats, too dry and crunchy. Nor the packaged breadsticks which do not pair well with San Daniele. There is no real menu, the bill is totally unknown, reaching prices above average and not in keeping with what is offered. We were a group of 15 people, two days in a row there for lunch, fixed price of €20 each.

01/12/2024: Nice place, classic tavern. The raw food was good, but the pickled vegetables were cold from the fridge and the €7.50 was a steal. The grilled ham looked like it had just been taken out of the cheap plastic packaging you buy at the supermarket. The crouton of warm bread buried in salty lard, cold from the fridge, too, €4 is a steal! The bread and breadsticks were cheap. Cover charge €2.5 no comment. If you want to stop, limit yourself to the raw dish with a glass of wine. For being in the center of San Daniele it was a disappointment paid dearly.

01/12/2024: For years a point of reference for the quality of the cuisine and the attention to the offer of gluten-free dishes. In addition to the menu proposals, we always appreciate the refined environment and the friendliness of the owner and staff.

02/12/2024: We arrived by chance and what luck... The kitchen was already closed for lunch, but it still offers cured meats, cheeses, oils and croutons... The products are good and of top quality... obviously the raw dish is to be try it.. The staff were very kind, helpful and prepared... A very warm environment certainly also given by the beautiful fireplace... Prices more than honest.. We will definitely return and I recommend it..

26/08/2024: Visited spontaneously while looking for an open restaurant for dinner. We were very pleasantly surprised! The food was unusually creative, wonderfully prepared and, above all, we were thrilled by the use of lots of fresh herbs. Excellent open wines and charming, brisk service round off a successful experience. Will come back next time we visit San Daniele.

19/08/2024: Since I can't put a sixth 🌟..star, I'll try to do it with words. The food was truly sublime. The service was courteous, professional but above all done with the heart. Environment, the welcoming room with delicious decorations, the strong point is also the choice of background music which is absolutely non-trivial as usually happens. I recommend if you are passing through the area to stop for a moment of relaxation and to treat yourself to an excellent meal. Really good everyone!!!

08/12/2024: Visited several times. Every time I was thrilled. Very good quality of prosciutto and also hot dishes. The kitchen is only open until 2:30 p.m. Afterwards you can also eat any cold food. The service is friendly and quick. The atmosphere is very nice. There is also a bar for quick coffee. The toilets are very clean. I haven't met tourist buses yet. You can also get very good products in the shop. It's always worth eating here.

07/12/2024: Restaurant with typical ham-based dishes. Try the tortellini which are a real delight. Very large place with hams on display with ample parking. Inside the restaurant there is a ham museum, a clothing boutique, a shop selling typical sweet and savory products. The staff is professional, kind and helpful. Absolutely worth trying! A fixed stop for us when we are in the area.
