28/06/2025: You know!! We are in San Daniele del Friuli. Homeland of raw ham, in every place you can eat excellent ham!! But if you also want to find a nice place, an interesting guided tour of the processing and maturing of ham, competent, kind, helpful staff who make you feel at ease. Without neglecting the quality of the products that accompany His Majesty!!! You can't miss coming to the "house of ham". Sorry if this review seems like an advertisement!!! But it comes from the fact that my family and I had a REALLY GOOD time!!! Thanks to the Alberti family.

05/06/2025: A fantastic restaurant with ditto food and drinks. An extensive menu for both food and wine and it is all very tasty. Wonderful service by fantastic staff and the owner is also a beautiful person. You can also go here in English. Parking is around the corner, on the street and after 19:00 it is free.

Without mentioning the excellence of the ham, you can see a search for goodness and authenticity in all the dishes starting from the pickles, try them. Note of honor on the gluten-free dishes starting from the breadsticks and bagels. Try the tagliolini with ham. BRAVE, BRAVE, BRAVE

02/06/2025: What a great and fun Osteria this is! We had a delicious meal there and the red house wine goes well with the meal. There is no menu but the waiter gives a summary of what is on offer that day. Absolutely friendly and fast service which certainly contributes to a successful evening. Reservations are a must otherwise there is a chance that there will be no more space. It is located in a quiet street with an outdoor terrace and parking is possible directly nearby.

14/06/2025: The food and service are among the best ever. Appetizer with delicious local ham and very good first courses. To return several times to try everything. Homemade tiramisu better than the original.

25/05/2025: Lovely Osteria with delicious food and nice house wine. The atmosphere is friendly and the staff is also English speaking and makes you feel welcome and at ease right away. Parking is available in the area within a few minutes walk.

03/06/2025: The place offers very delicious food and it has good ambiance. It takes time before the staff comes to you but it is a given as the place is very loved and visited by many. The wait is worth it though and it is a must try in my oppinion.

17/05/2025: Ham from San Daniele – well, it's known worldwide and truly an absolute specialty, and it's really interesting to take a look behind the scenes. Here, you'll be explained how ham production works and what is necessary to create such a specialty. Of course, there's also a tasting so you can convince yourself of the quality. At the end, as usual, you have the opportunity to take a small or larger piece of ham home with you directly from the producer :). It's definitely worth a look and is almost a must. Thanks for the insight, we really enjoyed it.

27/04/2025: Dopo un weekend lungo tra Slovenia ed Austria con amici del Piemonte decido di fare qui l'ultimo pranzo prima di salutarci. C'ero già stato ed avevo un buon ricordo, probabilmente perché non avevo pagato io il conto l'ultima volta... 4 piatti di prosciutto crudo, 8 fettine(ine) di focaccia, formaggi, burratine e sottaceti per 8 persone, 1lt di rosso e mezzo di bianco della casa, 2lt di acqua, 7 fettine(ine) di torta e 3 caffè. Tutto buono anche se molto "spartano". Conto: 253€ Per 3gg abbiamo girato Austria e Slovenia mangiando sempre al ristorante (non mc Donald), mangiando carne e piatti anche elaborati, (non bevendo solo acqua), con dessert e caffè al seguito, non spendendo mai più di 80/100€ a nucleo famigliare. Spendere qui più di 31€ a testa per me non è decisamente proporzionale rispetto a quanto abbiamo visto in tavola. Peccato davvero perché volevamo lasciare un ultimo bel ricordo ai nostri amici ed invece ce ne siamo andati via tutti con l'amaro in bocca.

02/06/2025: I stopped for a quick lunch, never was a choice more wrong! I waited over 50 minutes for a piadina and unfortunately it didn't arrive, nor did what the other tables had ordered. They brought us drinks and not even a piece of bread. I'm sorry but after an hour of waiting I left! And I would like to point out that half the tables were free. In my opinion you've got the wrong job.

14/05/2025: It's the setting that makes the prosciutto good. Or the smoked trout or any prosecco you want to drink. It's like being inside a scenography on this terrace where the umbrellas soften the lights and flavors and if you look towards San Daniele you see the hill, one of those that could seem like a slice resting, ready to be enjoyed, enjoyed, enjoyed.

20/06/2025: Ambiente accogliente e piacevole, Glauco e Diana sono dei perfetti padroni di casa, sempre col sorriso sulle labbra e negli occhi. Abbiamo visitato la stagionatura dei prosciutti: molto pulita e ordinata! Il prosciutto è morbido e dolcissimo.
