17/02/2024: Super! The spaghetti with clams with bottarga and pistachios is fantastic, it will make you want to return to this excellent restaurant often. All the starters are excellent, I recommend both the crudo (various fresh fish tartars) and the tapas (wonderful anchovies on polenta with caramelized onion). To conclude, it is really worth trying the creme brulee with strawberry topping (or mandarins, depending on the season), cut into very thin slices and caramelised. Generous portions. The service is also excellent, punctual (you never wait long) and great courtesy.

02/04/2024: A cozy,local restaurant with delicious Italian food-the pasta is nice,also the fish,the local wine is nice too.I recommend you make a reservation before you go.Its small and busy one.No parking around,it’s a kind in the center of the city.Staff is friendly

27/03/2024: Warmly welcomed by friendly staff in a rustic atmosphere. The stylish wood-fired oven in the entrance immediately catches the eye. The fact that the restaurant is fully booked on a Wednesday lunchtime speaks for itself. The friendly service and the top pizza with fluffy dough, together with the above-mentioned ambience, only allow for a 5 star rating. 2x tuna pizza 2x Cola 1x mousse eau chocolate with cake = 32 euros More than fair. Definitely highly recommended for us. 👍🏻

07/04/2024: I had booked a table for 1pm. We arrived slightly early as it was raining. We didn't get off to a great start...when we entered they snubbed us a bit, but once we were seated, everything changed. It feels like we've gone back in time. Courteous staff, good food, not a cheap place. We took 2 typical local soups, 1 bottle of water, a rather small glass of wine and 2 coffees.

06/04/2024: We didn't eat here. It reminded me of the bar in Cézanne's famous painting. Fabulous atmosphere. Also houses a book shop.

08/05/2024: We have visited first time Osteria Ai Maestri Trieste, staff was very friendly, English and German speaking. Food was really lovely, pasta and rombo also. I can fully recomend. Looking forward for next visit:-).

05/05/2024: Known on Osteria d'Italia slow food. Warm, only 16 seats. Very good typical cuisine, very kind. Typical dishes done well and delicious.

05/04/2024: Nice place in Trieste. The pizza is quite tasty and the restaurant is well kept and modern. The service was on the slower side, hence the 4 stars. I really enjoyed my pizza, it was very authentic, you can tell that they used quality ingredients. I would recommend!

13/01/2024: I love this place, the staff are lovely, the food is to die for and the wine assortment is perfect. Massimo cooks locally caught fish there. My favorite dishes are, the sardoni alla Massimo, the cozze, the shellfish pasta and the mixed fry which is light and cooked to perfection. It is without a doubt the best place where you can eat fish in Trieste!

30/03/2024: The best place in Trieste without a doubt. Quick, with great variety, delicious pizzas, gluten-free dough, fried pizza, special tiramisu with chocolate biscuit. Professional and attentive service. For me it's always a yes.

28/03/2024: A popular place, so make a booking. The quality is great. We got to watch them make the pizzas as we waiting for our meal. Didn't try the gluten-free pizza, but saw one and it looked incredible. Gluten-free pasta was delicious.

21/03/2024: Quick lunch, girls at the counter super kind and very quick! More than abundant rations but with quality. The only flaw is the turnout, lunch time is really crowded, it is strongly recommended to book well in advance.

07/04/2024: Excellent service and very fast! One of the best pizzerias in all of Italy🥰 the impact is soft and the ingredients are high quality, in the end the liqueur offered by the house is very welcome along with some sweets!

08/03/2024: era un po' che non venivamo in questo locale e quindi abbiamo deciso di tornarci. I camerieri sono sempre molto gentili, il menù è sempre molto ricco e vario fra panini e piatti e le birre ottime. Ci sono anche parecchi televisori per seguire le eventuali partite e questo è un motivo davvero importante per tornarci!
