The waitress who took the order was very "stupid" when taking orders and explaining things, never a smile.
Waiter rudely talking back to a lady behind us.
Learn English if you want to be in a place like this.
The food was okay for the little we got, but hearing the other waitress cursing God behind us in the middle of the dining room, amidst so many people, is inaudible even to some Italians (like me).
She should be fired immediately.

06/09/2025: Unfortunately, three years after my last visit and excellent review, I've had to change my mind. We came for lunch on a Saturday without a reservation. Maybe it was a mistake, but it doesn't justify waiting 45 minutes for a plate of gnocchi, shared between two people, and receiving the side dish before the main course (which we waited over half an hour for).
Not to mention the dessert, which we waited another twenty minutes, only to be told, in response to our legitimate complaint, that it was in the oven and would take time. Strange, because the same dessert arrived at the next table well before us, even though people had arrived after us.
Sorry. It must have been a busy day, but it can't be the customer's problem.
We'll find other places in the area.
31/08/2025: A welcoming location among the Collio vineyards, with a good selection of simple and delicious dishes for pasta or grilled meat.

20/10/2025: Highly recommended by friends from Friuli (they travel 80km to come here a couple of times a year), booking for at least 2 days, the fame is (this time) deserved, we tried everything from starters to desserts, everything was good, there was a wait, but also a lot of people waiting, the house wine was also good, great memories of Grado... the prices are those of places where you eat less well, but they make more of a central scene (for those who eat with their eyes)

28/08/2025: While the restaurant retains the same name, its menu and decor have changed since the info on Google. That said, there were five of us for lunch. Three small first courses tasted fairly bland (the trofie with white ragù and pecorino tasted only of meat, with no hint of cheese). The truly annoying thing was the endless wait! An hour for three first courses and a steak. The bill was steep, as always when restaurants revamp themselves with a new, modern and, in my opinion, bland style.
The garden is beautiful.

04/11/2025: Bad evening, white pizza with mushrooms and flakes without salt, better on other occasions
03/11/2025: Wasn't impressed with the service or quality. The whole staff seemed to be in poor moods and not overly friendly, it really rubbed the wrong way when the server put the card reader in my face and asked for a tip with the smallest option being 5€, when I asked if there was another option he told me no and insisted that I must tip: 5, 10 or 15€. Pizza was mediocre. I would recommend Frankie's pizza bar, it's about a 10 minute walk through the city from this place. The service, quality and the value was better. I hate to leave a poor review but with it being in a high tourist area I think it's the right thing to do.

13/07/2025: When you arrive at this small town restaurant, you'll be disoriented: the GPS didn't make a mistake; the sign outside simply points to the previous location.
The pizza, in my case a marinara, cooked in an electric oven, was good without any major changes.
It's also a restaurant, but I missed the order.

16/10/2025: The daily fixed menu (€14) is excellent. The food is delicious, the service is fast, and the atmosphere is bright and quiet. Ample parking is available.
10/10/2025: Excellent food and hospitality. Every lunchtime there's a set menu that changes daily. Dinner is à la carte. Excellent wine, and the staff are very friendly and welcoming.

05/10/2025: Good pizzas. Well-cooked, light. Friendly staff. Fast service. Screens inside and outside. The Neapolitan calzone is delicious.
We also tried the home delivery service. If you book in advance, the time is respected. The pizzas arrive well-cooked and hot.
