30/07/2025: World's best pizza. This is how I imagine pizza in paradise. Great atmosphere, no frills. Staff was friendly. This taste experience, a dream, together with my favorite Cuginettis, made it an unforgettable evening. Pizza da Franco love forever 🥹🥰👌🥳

30/07/2025: We’ve been in Italy for a week now and have had great food but this place was very disappointing. Ordered a mozzarella and sausage pizza that had absolutely no flavor. We were starving and only ate one piece each. Waste of money and I’m super disappointed for the amount of reviews this place gets.

13/07/2025: When you arrive at this small town restaurant, you'll be disoriented: the GPS didn't make a mistake; the sign outside simply points to the previous location. The pizza, in my case a marinara, cooked in an electric oven, was good without any major changes. It's also a restaurant, but I missed the order.

29/08/2025: I thought the service was very good 👍. Above all, the huge selection of pizzas was amazing. It was also quite affordable at under €10. Unfortunately, the salad wasn't very exciting, but I guess it's a pizzeria for locals. 🍕 And not every restaurant offers the entire dessert selection on a tray at your table.

20/08/2025: From the food, to the craft beer, to the location in the center of Gorizia, Mama Angela was a blessing during the three days we visited the city. Especially on a Sunday evening when Gorizia wasn't open for dinner. Exceptional value for money.

07/09/2025: We stayed for two nights and also had dinner in the evening, so I can comment on the room and the food. Our evening visit was something special: a great ambiance (more harmonious inside than outside), pleasant service (a man with East Tyrolean roots), and wonderful food. The five-course menu for €50 (with wine pairing €70) was too much for us, so we ate à la carte and enjoyed it. The wine list was extensive, both white and red. We were also very surprised by the breakfast, especially by Italian standards. To be honest, the rooms don't live up to this high standard. While the garden-facing side meant you could barely hear anything from the street, they were very thinly soundproofed from the neighbors, and the bathroom was small and retro. Nevertheless, all in all, a great stay with really nice people.

05/09/2025: A couple's dinner with a very poor tasting menu. The chef in charge showed little flexibility when we asked to change a single dish from the tasting menu because we didn't like it. The dishes were very meager in terms of quantity and very poor in terms of quality. The taste was lacking, the wine pairings were inadequate, and the tasting ended with a terrible dessert. The only positives were the attempt to improve the evening by accommodating a few requests from a single waitress, and the presence of a large white cat who entertained us during the meal. We won't be returning unless we want to say hello to the big cat.

24/08/2025: When we came to the establishment we were asked whether we would only drink or plan to eat (that is, spend a lot) when we said that we only wanted to drink, they actually showed us the door saying that all the tables were occupied, although at the entrance there was a small table for two people where we sat down... but after waiting for about 15 minutes no one came to us... simply disgusting attitude towards people... we never advise anyone to go there for an aperitif...
