We visited this osteria by booking through the TheFork app, and the experience was very pleasant and relaxing. I found the place beautiful, with its historic character: I love places with this characteristic...the walls of this osteria almost seem to sing the praises of time, just like wine, which needs to settle before opening up and releasing its aromas and telling its story.
I felt as if I were enveloped in the oxygen and charm of time and the history of this osteria, so much so that I went to do some research to learn more. You can eat both inside and outside; obviously, in the heat, we sat outside. I also liked the exterior, which was well-organized, with this canopy enhanced by crisp white curtains that add a touch of elegance. There's a large outdoor space where you can dine, and if you have children, there are spring rides (a pony) for them to play with. Naturally, my keen eyes, a lover of detail, immediately noticed, upon entering, the uniqueness of the chandeliers: creative, whimsical, and beautiful.
I greatly appreciated the table setting: though simple, it was neat and tidy. A special mention goes to the glasses and stemware (you can see the brilliance of these glasses and stemware in the photos) and the cutlery: shiny, very clean, a neatness that I greatly appreciated!
The dinner was excellent, the food delicious, with refined and well-prepared dishes. The service was timely, allowing us to spend a totally relaxing and enjoyable evening.
The menu is limited, with a few choices of appetizers, first courses, and second courses, synonymous with freshness, but we didn't find the drinks list included.
The cold cuts appetizer was truly delicious, with flavorful cured meats that brought back memories of the goodness of the flavors of yesteryear, which perfectly complements the history of this osteria.
For our second course, we ordered "Il Reale," a slow-cooked beef stew. What more can I say? It was so tender and delicious, it simply has to be tasted. The dessert, beyond its beautiful presentation, was a delightful delight. When I notice this attention to detail, I'm always happy to point it out, because it demonstrates passion and care for what they do, and care for the customer.
Kudos to the young man who took the order. He was attentive to my requests during the ordering process, was able to answer all my questions thoroughly, and gave me a good wine recommendation: a house Cabernet Sauvignon, very balanced, smooth, and with fewer tannins, a pleasant accompaniment to both the appetizer and the main course. Bravo!
The service could be improved: some of the staff erred on the side of etiquette; we had to try several times to get the waiters' attention before being noticed to ask for the bread, which had run out. A waiter removed the dirty cutlery from my plate with his own hands to leave it for the next course (I didn't appreciate this for hygiene reasons, so I asked for clean cutlery). A waitress, after finally noticing us to ask for bread, took away the breadsticks I had opened and was eating, without asking first if she could. These are small, educational incidents that undoubtedly need improvement in table management.
Aside from this humane, inconsiderate attitude, everything else was perfect.
Overall, it was a wonderful evening in a lovely osteria, with excellent food (compliments to the chef), a pleasant and relaxing atmosphere, kindness, and fair prices. We'll be back!

I was there for lunch today, good, home-made dishes, impeccable service, the waitress (I think her name is Meri) was very nice and professional, she had a great eye, as soon as we had finished the first course she removed the parmesan, then as soon as we had finished the desserts she immediately brought us the coffee, despite the various tables she paid attention to all the little details, not to mention the quiet and relaxing atmosphere outside, I will definitely be back

Heifer fillet is a unique experience. Hours and hours of cooking turn it into a masterpiece. All that's left to do is enjoy it.

A typical old-fashioned tavern, with old straw chairs and a fireplace. Menu: 5 appetizers, 5 first courses, and 5 second courses, with some off-menu options. The dishes are generous, carefully prepared, and delicious. Prices are average. Recommended.

I'm unfamiliar with the area, so I asked the AI โโfor a welcoming place where you can eat well! The answer led us to this magnificent restaurant, complete with an equally magnificent garden, rustically furnished with two charming rooms whose atmosphere perfectly complemented the two fireplaces. The fire and the warmth of the fireplace added a special touch to our lunch. We had excellent, beautifully plated appetizers, excellent first courses, and a generous and truly delicious meat-based second course, all freshly made. The service was efficient, and the young man who served us was friendly. The house sparkling wine was also well-made.
When we return to Pordenone, we will definitely return to this lovely restaurant, which we highly recommend!

Today I waited 45/50 minutes for a mixed grill, but in the end the wait was fine, the meat was well cooked and the service was good. The only thing that I'm not very interested in, besides the preparation and presentation of the food, is the care of the building and the garden, which could benefit from a little more attention, considering that it is seen as the face of the place.
