22/09/2025: A lovingly designed new building with sparkling clean rooms, which were meticulously cleaned again after our three-day stay, including a change of linen. The service was equally attentive. Since the attached restaurant was unfortunately closed during our visit in September, we received a recommendation for a neighboring tavern; they kindly made a reservation for us. All in all, it was a truly wonderful vacation—not least thanks to the excellent management of our hosts!

09/09/2025: Filthy! We ordered two inedible pasta dishes. Spaghetti all'olio with frozen fish and the eye of the shrimp on the plate.
I left everything after finding the eye on my plate. My husband left all the fish. We politely pointed this out and still paid €37.50!

25/09/2025: The restaurant is highly recommended. The staff is very friendly and accommodating. The ambiance is lovely. We will dine at Peperoncino & Co again on our next trip to Lignano.
20/09/2025: The food was excellent. The service was prompt. The main course (octopus tentacle and potatoes) was way too small. The cover charge of €3.50 per person seemed excessive, even with the cloth tablecloths and napkins.

08/06/2025: Excellent typical takeaway products. First courses, second courses, desserts... All fresh and of excellent quality. You can also find wine, oil, pasta; gift baskets. Wide selection of good things. Try it and believe it.
The only flaw is the not very convenient parking.
Come and meet Angela, she is really very courteous, helpful and kind.
Recommended place for those who like to eat well and healthily.

We all ordered carbonara and all had the same impression: the dishes were generous but too heavy. The sauce was definitely too thick.
Overall, it's okay if you're in the area and particularly hungry.

26/05/2025: Excelente comida. Teníamos el pollo y la tagliata de ternera, ambos muy tiernos y cocinados por expertos. El vino de la casa era un delicioso merlot. Ambiente muy relajado y acogedor. Tenemos nuestro conserje del hotel para agradecer la recomendación, ya que desde la calle parece un bar de vinos. Está a dos cuadras del lugar donde atracan los cruceros, por lo que es muy céntrico.
09/03/2025: Como recomendó el conserje en nuestro (excelente) hotel en Trieste, esto fue acogedor, buena comida, super elección de vinos por copa y buena relación calidad-precio. ¿Qué más se puede pedir? Tuvimos una comida variada y magníficamente ejecutada - el sarro de ternera y el pollo lento - cocinado eran ambos sobresalientes - y cuando el conserje del hotel y sus colegas llegaron para su almuerzo, entendimos su recomendación! No lo dudes.
