22/12/2024: The food was good but an agreed price of 30 euros per person for 52. At the time of the bill, an amount of 2.50 euros per person was requested as an extra cover charge. I will never go back again as I don't think any of the other diners will. Shameful

04/12/2024: On Monday at lunch, four of us find few people and they give us a really large table for 6 with quite comfortable chairs; in many other places it is really cramped and sometimes the chairs are uncomfortable. The staff are efficient, kind and polite, you can't say enough about them. The order was taken without a hitch and with little waiting the dishes arrived. Everything we took was excellent and fairly plentiful: the platter (for 2 people) with Karst cold cuts that melted in your mouth and Tabor cheese with red onion compote was delicious; the potato gnocchi of perfect consistency and with the goulash sauce (with pieces of meat) to lick the plate; the queens with mushrooms much appreciated as above; the radicchio and speck lasagna disappeared in no time. To finish, two of us delved into the desserts: the last two slices of apple strudel melted in the mouth and, even if some people like the pastry in the wrapper to be more consistent, for me it's enough that the filling pushes me to close my eyes while I taste it. We left truly satisfied and happy to have been able to enjoy carefully prepared, tasty and genuine food. We will return without a doubt.

There is a lot of variety in drinking and eating... the owner (the good Dani) is very easy going, so much so that he has made an entire area of ​​the venue available for the birthday party. I really like the external courtyard: it is intimate and quiet being surrounded by the apartments of the historic center. 21/12/2024: Preciso che conoscevo già questo locale e mi ero trovato molto bene sia per la location che il servizio che il cibo e, pertanto vi sono ritornato per un evento importante ma con somma delusione. All’ingresso si trovava una gentile cameriera che ci accoglieva, ma all’ingresso in sala, un personaggio con un gilè piumino che ci chiedeva chi fossimo seppur eravamo entrati tutti in gruppo e già indirizzati alla tavolata che ci era stata assegnata…. Successivamente seppur serviti da un bravo cameriere le attese erano piuttosto lunghe, le comande confuse ed una cameriera che rovesciava un boccale di birra sulla giacca di uno di noi ed infine la lamentela del titolare (che era quello con il gilet) che si lamentava perché eravamo con una persona in meno rispetto alla prenotazione ( e non eravamo mica pochi) . Per concludere questo locale, anche se con una buona cucina (un po’ cara) ha perso clienti…..

10/12/2024: After a phone call at 6.30pm on a Saturday in which they told me that they wouldn't be able to serve me two large pizzas unless I came to collect them in about twenty minutes, I arrived and found the place completely empty. If in the salami pizza there were 3 slices in each slice, that's a lot, not that the frankfurter pizza was more stuffed. Among other things, the pasta was raw. I specify that I took the classic pizzas, not the 5 grain ones.

04/12/2024: Excellent trattoria with sea view, seating outside in summer and inside in winter, super friendly and kind staff, clean bathrooms, excellent and fast service, delicious and hot food. Free parking on the street, average costs. Possibility to also eat meat. We will definitely be back

21/10/2024: Partiamo dal cibo, e sono molte note positive. La pizza e ottima e pure il pesce, quella volta che lo abbiamo provato, era buono. Però dannazione, il resto è più simile ad un incubo. Tempi biblici, personale imbarazzante, locale magari da rivedere. In questi anni, il cibo è sempre rimasto buono, ma l'ospitalità è peggiorata mano a mano.

26/08/2024: Kleine, aber 'urige' Pizzeria. Haben bei der Heimreise aus Kroatien eine Pizzeria gesucht und sind aufgrund der Bewertungen hingefahren. Hauptsächlich Einheimische, wenn's drinnen voll dann ist es sehr laut - typisch Italien halt 😜. Draußen entlang des Gehsteiges ein paar Tische. Pizzas sehr lecker - dicker Rand, Personal freundlich, Wartezeit war auch okay.

13/10/2024: Siamo venuti durante il nostro soggiorno a Trieste. Il locale è un vero agriturismo che serve prodotti di loro produzione o del posto. Atmosfera casalinga con un dehors molto carino. Il menù è tipico e cambia con la stagione. Abbiamo voluto provare alcuni piatti della tradizione illustrati egregiamente dalla titolare: una signora molto gentile e professionale. Abbiamo preso bleki in crema d zucchine e strucolo in straza di salsiccia molto goduriosi. Poi il prosciutto arrosto con rafano e senape e la fesa di maiale all'uva, verdura saltata e patate in tecia molto golose. Tiramisu e torta di mele. Vino sfuso buono. Che dire, tutto ottimo, in porzioni generose, tempi di servizio perfetti, prezzi giusti Da tornarci ... peccato che è un pò fuori mano per noi ...

10/10/2024: L’agriturismo si trova nella periferia est di Trieste. Nonostante sia locato in una stradina molto stretta, vi è un parcheggio discretamente grande. Grande giardino con grande porticato ottimo nelle giornate soleggiate e con la bella stagione anche per tavolate numerose. Dentro l’ambiente è più intimo e rustico ma ugualmente adatto a anche a tavolate più grandi. Mi sembra di aver capito che sono aperti dal giovedi alla domenica ed eventualmente, da lunedì a mercoledì solo per occasioni speciali private. Cucina tipica, leggermente rivisitata di buona qualità. Prezzi onesti e quindi assolutamente consigliato.

06/11/2024: While traveling to Lake Sauris we stopped for lunch in this bar/restaurant, we found excellent local dishes and good hospitality. Excellent gnocchi with venison ragout, exceptional venison medallions and toc' in braide, all accompanied by a good house red. Excellent value for money.

21/12/2024: A good supermarket with an excellent assortment of both local and national products. Prices slightly above average but adequate for the quality of the products. Good choice of wines and ready-made products.

14/12/2024: Rudeness and expired products. Rancid hams in the cured meat counter, the unmistakable smell of which permeates the environment, promotions on products that have literally gone bad, personally in a single visit I purchased chocolate with insect larvae and a craft beer with sediment and a foul taste. The blonde mature lady is often busy barking orders and berating employees in front of customers without caring about everyone's discomfort. Forget about greeting or thanking her if she is at the checkout. The employees have a funeral face, it's not hard for me to imagine why.

10/11/2024: A small place in the center of Polcenigo that is truly particular: at first the furniture may seem like a slightly confusing set of objects, but then you look and realize that they have their own meaning and above all a harmony. The aperitifs and cocktails are intriguing, as are the numerous croutons or platters; a little less so the main dishes, which perhaps deserve a little more attention and imagination. Praise for the service, for its kindness and speed. Overall a great experience, made even better by the live music.
