Booked for 10 people, fast service, young, very knowledgeable, and above all friendly staff, traditional homemade dishes with a touch of refinement to make them more appetizing! Excellent wine selection, and I highly recommend the desserts, each one better than the last. We'll definitely be back.

26/12/2025: We went for Christmas with the whole family and were very disappointed. The atmosphere and service were great, but the food was a disaster. There were 11 of us and we all left hungry (after paying over €60 per person). The dishes had very strange combinations and little flavor. The best thing was the dessert. We won't be spending Christmas here again. We arrived at 1 pm and left at 5 pm, with a 30-minute wait for each course (a 5-course Christmas menu).

That evening, I chose the grilled fish, which was truly well executed and appreciated for its quality and flavor. Pleasant atmosphere, perfect location, and friendly, helpful staff. Recommended for grill lovers.

06/01/2026: Unfortunately, they've changed management. It's no longer as welcoming as it once was. I used to frequent the Osteria La de Jure in Trieste. Since the change of management, something has changed for the worse. I've had them refuse to charge separate bills when paying by POS or cash, using the excuse that they'd already entered the entire bill into the computer. Here at the Osteria, we were used to everyone paying their own way; it was a surprise and a problem not to be able to do so. But if that were the only reason, I wouldn't have given it a star. My rating stems from the poor behavior of an employee behind the counter, who responded very negatively and rudely to our polite request to pay separately. A real shame... between high prices and this behavior, I don't think it's worth going to "La de Jure" anymore.

04/02/2026: We stayed at this hotel. Honestly, we were disappointed considering it's a 4-star hotel. I'd rate the breakfast more as a 2-star... There was practically no savory food (except for the 4 slices of speck, cheese, salami, and ham/rump, which weren't even good quality). As for dessert, the croissants were adequate... but the packaged cakes weren't that great. The hot drinks machine was also mediocre. The homemade orange juice was good. The rooms aren't comfortable...the best thing about the room is the bathroom. It's a shame because there's so much potential, but I understand that given the location, which isn't very popular, perhaps these standards are fine.

26/10/2025: A wonderful experience at this hotel, the only thing missing is the food (at least for dinner). A generous breakfast and spacious rooms in a truly unique period setting.

03/12/2025: I can't give you any less: today, December 31, 2023, after having booked for two people, TWO, about twenty days in advance, at 8:40 PM I was told that we would have to dine out, in 8⁰C temperatures. For the treatment I received, you deserve a -5. YOU HAVE LOST A CUSTOMER and my old 5-star review. Thank you and Happy New Year. P.S. I still found a table in a superior location, closer to the sea! SHAME ON YOU!

07/01/2026: It's taken me a while to write this review. I'm torn, but also disappointed by some impressions, which unfortunately I've reaffirmed from time to time when I frequent the restaurant. Some of the food seemed good, while others tasted like "cooking with leftovers" (e.g., meatballs, ragù, some side dishes, and even the bottles of wine, which are brought already opened). This wouldn't even be a bad idea these days, but it should be declared, including an explanation of what types of leftovers are used. I'd add, as others have already noted, that the menus promised for certain occasions often don't match the ones actually served, which are generally of a lower quality, while the price, alas, doesn't change. The service also varies greatly depending on the day; when there are more people, the wait becomes longer, making the experience less pleasant. I'd say that, in terms of value for money, perhaps the restaurant is trying to present itself at a higher level than it actually is.

03/02/2026: The last time I went was as a child, when they still ran the Alpe Adria restaurant. To take a trip back in time, I decided to go again, and it feels like a trip back in time, which is certainly not a bad thing. Excellent pizza, good prices, no-frills service, but I applaud the tenacity of the owners, who are still there after so many years. The only small negative was that they didn't have meringue pie, a worthy end to a pizzeria lunch.

18/03/2026: The only place in Ronchi with an outdoor garden where you can sit. I've noticed the dessert selection improving over the years, and I think it's one of the best in the area. I love the fruit pastries and the Sachertorte. Friendly staff.

02/02/2026: A tasty breakfast in the summer garden is always a pleasure, with children's play areas available. Even in autumn, it's always a pleasure. The braided bread is excellent. An interesting selection of teas, chocolates, and specialty products...to be discovered.
