16/05/2025: Awful service and very rude manager! It was almost midnight, and the place was less than half full. The wannabe manager, who seemed more interested in asserting authority than helping customers, reacted very rudely when we sat at a table for four, as there were only two of us. Later, he gave that same table to two women who arrived afterward.

22/04/2025: We went to this restaurant for lunch with friends last Saturday. I had read some rather critical reviews that spoke of slow service so, a little scared by these negative opinions, we opted for an encore of first courses the same for everyone (there were 9 of us) and a mixed grill also the same for everyone. I don't know if it was this, but the service was excellent and in absolutely acceptable times. The owner was very kind and very friendly. The first courses we tasted are very good (pappardelle with wild boar sauce and ham and pea candies) and the grilled meat is equally good. "Special" fried polenta! In the end the bill was more than honest (we spent just over 30 euros each which nowadays is almost not much). In conclusion we were very satisfied with the Il Cacciatore restaurant and I'm sure I will return there more times now that I have discovered it! Congratulations and thank you for the quality and friendliness.

24/03/2025: Ristorante dell'albergo, Che dire, l'oste che si occupa della sala, bravissimo e super gentile. I piatti veramente abbondanti e buoni. In 8 adulti e 3 bambini abbiamo preso 2 antipasti misti (enormi) ,e tutti almeno un piatto a testa, chi primo, chi secondo, qualcuno entrambe, e qualche contorno (ne abbiamo fatti togliere vedendo la dimensione dell'antipasto e dei primi che arrivavano ad altri tavoli) Io in particolare ho preso la tagliata di cervo ..molto buona e tenera. Il tutto accompagnato da due bottiglie di Antinori. Per concludere 3 dolci e 5 amari. Spesa a testa 44€. Se passate da quelle parti consiglio di fermarvi

04/06/2025: The food is edible, you can't expect more for a €25 menu and it's fine. What bothered me the most is the still water filled with the tap and passed off as glass water (the plastic seal shows that it's not sealed), so take the sparkling water which at least is from the fridge and is original. What can I say, the service is what it is, the dog was wandering around the restaurant and was touched by everyone. Cheap place with passable food!

I rate the service negatively as they manage dinner in two shifts and we waited over 45 minutes before being able to sit down. In my opinion, if a restaurant chooses to work more shifts in order to have more takings, it must be able to manage them without leaving people standing outside the restaurant for almost an hour.

23/05/2025: First experience for surprise received by the girlfriend to celebrate us and spend a few hours just for us in the privacy of the "Pitocchina". Location truly unique in its particularity, perfect service and quality products. Recommended!

11/05/2025: We stopped after being recommended a really beautiful, intensely classic mountain place with plenty of wood but the best part was the food and the kindness of the owners. Good pizza good good excellent ingredients, platters with polenta taragna cheeses lard porcini mushrooms and many other combinations excellent craft beers to absolutely try the house tiramisu. Highly recommended
