We stopped for a night while hiking the Via Vandelli. Clean and spacious rooms, excellent breakfast, excellent dinner, very friendly staff.

As a couple, passing through La Santona while trekking the Via Vandelli. Room with a breathtaking view of Mount Cimone. A delicious and plentiful dinner. Breakfast included everything you need. Sandwiches for a packed lunch were made by the hotel, since the grocery store next door was closed. Excellent welcome and impeccable service. Thank you.

Hotel only (the restaurant was closed), ask for a room with a view (really nice), not the ones overlooking the street. The owner is very kind and welcoming, the rooms are spotless, and everything is as it used to be.

Welcoming and clean place. The owner is super friendly and an excellent cook, accommodating all our requests. If available, I recommend rooms with a view of Monte Cimone to enjoy the beautiful view. Good food, ample parking.

The food was excellent, with authentic flavors. The waiters were young but charming, always smiling, and very kind. The view of Mount Cimone was stunning, and Mrs. Roberta was incredibly kind. Bravo to all the staff.

A well-kept hotel, with kind and helpful staff. We had a pleasant stay. Simple and authentic cuisine. They offered us crescentine, a typical local dish with melted lard seasoned with rosemary. We felt pampered. Highly recommended.

I went for lunch after a morning in the snow; the restaurant is strategically located on the way down from the Mocogno plain. The cuisine is traditional, the dishes—without too many frills—brought the right flavors to the table: the wild boar was excellent, the ragù was not bad, and the tor... cappelletti (I can't help but be honest, I'm from Reggio Emilia). Perhaps the portions could have been more generous, but it was Sunday and the restaurant was packed. The young staff, not impeccable but attentive and friendly. And the lady was very sweet. A pleasant stop!
