04/01/2026: Fantastic experience! We had lunch for two and were extremely satisfied. We started with a very fresh fish appetizer, followed by a fish first course, truly delicious and perfectly cooked. To round things off, we had dessert: simply delicious! Special praise goes to the staff, who were extremely kind and knowledgeable, and who were able to advise us on the best dishes. We will definitely be back!

20/11/2025: The food was excellent, truly satisfying. The only downside—perhaps because it was Sunday—was that we waited a bit too long for lunch, but the wait was well worth it. I'd say this is the place I've eaten best in Ferrara so far, with a more rustic, yet more sophisticated approach and excellent alternatives. The artisanal green pappardelle with venison sauce were exceptional. The portions were moderately generous.

14/01/2026: A small but truly exquisitely curated place, with a warm and welcoming atmosphere. I visited during the Christmas season and found it even more beautiful: thoughtful decorations, soft lighting, and a truly pleasant atmosphere, the kind that makes you feel immediately at ease. The staff is friendly and helpful, which always makes a difference. I had the pinsa with mortadella and stracciatella: excellent, just the right amount of crunch, fragrant, and very tasty, with well-balanced, high-quality ingredients. One of those simple yet well-made things that makes you want to return. It's also a perfect place for an aperitivo, especially in the summer, when it's even more pleasant to linger and enjoy the atmosphere. The prices are average and absolutely in line with what's on offer. I would go back in a heartbeat; highly recommended!

29/12/2025: Nice atmosphere with a cozy interior and friendly service. But the hot chocolate didn't live up to its name (it was runny, like milk and cocoa), and the tea, despite a wide selection of flavors, was limited—just a small cup, and the water arrived barely warm. So, everything could be improved by paying a little more attention to the quality of the products.

21/02/2026: Sometimes you have to decide at the last minute to eat a good pizza without waiting hours, and here we found the solution. Friendly and courteous staff, and the cashiers and order takers are the true pillars of the pizzeria, irreplaceable. Regarding the Madre Terra vegan pizza, some constructive advice: the pumpkin cream base is good, but the onions and mushrooms should be grilled with oil and spices, then added to the pizza; the black olives used are not suitable (and of good quality); Leccino olives would definitely be better, perhaps chopped. The overall review remains positive, and I hope to make the appropriate changes next time. Thank you.

28/12/2025: Tonight, December 28, 2025, I ordered three pizzas, two Margheritas and one with onions. The pizzas were half raw, cold, and practically inedible. Furthermore, the two Margheritas had very little toppings; perhaps the pizza chefs were trying to save money. I've been ordering pizzas from this pizzeria for years, and other times I've had pizzas that were raw or burned, but never as inedible as this evening. I recommend being careful about what you prepare and deliver to customers. If you can't handle many orders, I recommend ordering fewer but making them better.

01/03/2026: REVIEW UPDATE: 03/01/2026 Another month has passed, but no apology has been received. Mr. Alex hasn't been heard from. SHAME. REVIEW UPDATE. Today, January 26, 2026, after more than a month, I'm updating my review. The holidays are over. I thought that with the return to normal routine, "Mr. ALEX" would have had time to personally APOLOGIZE to me for the HORRIBLE behavior I exhibited on December 21, 2025 (as described in the review). To this day, I'm still waiting for his response. REVIEW UPDATE. Today, December 28, I'm updating my review. A week has passed, and "Mr." ALEX hasn't deigned to call and PERSONALLY APOLOGIZE for what happened. I STILL WAITING. REVIEW. Today for lunch, 12.21.2025, I went to La Fornace to celebrate my birthday (having booked a table on December 12th). When I arrived, I introduced myself and asked to be assigned the reserved table. The waitress immediately looked at me in surprise and started to confabulate with the OWNER. After a while, she came back and told me she was sorry, but due to a mix-up, the TABLE IS NOT THERE! I asked for at least an explanation for what had happened, and the response was: "You are not the first people to come back today because the table is not there! ". Then, the best part of the whole affair was that the OWNER was present and witnessed the entire conversation (he was 4 meters away from us!). He instructed a young waitress to apologize, and he didn't even HAVE the COURAGE to show his FACE personally! I consider this behavior shameful. This review is not FALSE, you have my reservation with the phone number, If the owner wants to apologize personally for what happened.

25/01/2026: I'd been wanting to try this place for a while, but when I finally got the chance, unfortunately, the experience wasn't entirely satisfying. The appetizer of mixed cured meats with pickles and warm piadina was high quality, but there was a rather long wait for the meat dishes and first course to arrive. This is where the problems began, as, in addition to a further delay in the arrival of the sausage, both the chicken and the ribs were undercooked, with several traces of blood, which is absolutely unfit for edible use in chicken and pork, and poses a risk of bacterial contamination. On the other hand, the pork chop was rather dry and flaky, as well as difficult to chew. The waitress who served us was also unsympathetic and unfriendly. Finally, the dessert was a flavorless tiramisu, made with a rather dry sponge cake. Overall, I'm quite disappointed and completely below my long-awaited expectations, given the other reviews. On a positive note, the owner admitted the inconvenience, correctly apologizing for the undercooking of the meat, which remained rare, and taking responsibility for it.

21/12/2025: I have to confirm what I've read in other reviews. I waited over an hour for a pizza that arrived long after the people at my table had already finished. So avoid the pizzas, and for the rest, I can only say that it's quite expensive.

23/02/2026: Truly beautiful campsite, the reception staff is quick to respond if you have a problem, the entertainers are fun, the service is top-notch, and the pool is gorgeous and clean. A truly beautiful, clean, and quiet campsite where you know you're safe. The entertainers are really friendly, the evening shows are truly beautiful and entertaining, and if you want, you can even watch the rehearsals after the show. The restrooms are really clean, the pitches are very large and long, there's a golf course, a soccer field, and lots of activities where children and teenagers can have fun. They come several times a week for mosquito and fly disinfestation. Truly a beautiful campsite.

21/01/2026: It's outrageous what they're now charging for! We've always loved this lovely campsite, which we've stayed at several times. This year, we plan to stay for a week again during our Italy tour (two families with one caravan each). Now they're charging €74 per family for two adjacent pitches, so a total of €150 for our request for connected pitches. I'm happy to pay a reasonable amount for special requests, but I find this incredibly cheeky.
