08/05/2026: Porto Garibaldi is a hub of restaurants. Some stand out for their location or aesthetics, others are simply noticed by strolling along the seafront. Among these is the Roma restaurant, which appears to be just one of many. In reality, once inside, we notice a spacious, clean, and comfortable environment. We sit at a table near the beach and begin ordering. All the dishes are excellent and served in generous portions. The standout dish is undoubtedly the slightly spicy risotto, with fish simmered in a typical local broth. A delight to savor, keeping in mind that a single portion, given the size, easily serves two people. The staff is extremely friendly and attentive to their guests' needs.

A vintage atmosphere, knowledgeable and helpful staff, excellent dishes, quality wines with a special focus on Friulians, and the option to eat outside. We ordered a Roma appetizer, two risottos, a half-portion of fried fish, a bottle of Friulano, sorbets, and more for €55 each. Very satisfied.

25/04/2026: When I go out for lunch or dinner, I'm not looking for luxury, but for someone who knows how to cook. This was a terrible experience. Everything was subpar: braised meat cut like dry cold cuts with no sauce, ragù from a can, and they fetch the wine behind a door so as not to let anyone know they're using carton red wine. Also, the bathroom is extremely dirty and lacks hygiene!!! There was no one in the room, the bill was extremely high, and anyone who stops by is "fleeced." The NAS should come and shut it down!

02/11/2025: Camillo 2 is a delightful discovery! Even though it's been open for over 40 years.
Generous portions, fresh and authentic ingredients, and truly fair prices. The staff is very kind and professional. I recommend trying the rich and high-quality charcuterie board. Also, be sure to try the spoon-cooked salami. It's still prepared using the ancient methods of Ferrara's pork butchers and has an irresistible flavor.
A place where you can eat well and spend little, and you'll be treated wonderfully.

02/06/2026: I went to this place with some friends for seafood, and the experience was very disappointing.
We waited over an hour for €16 spaghetti with clams, which, once it arrived, turned out to be pretty ordinary and nothing more. The reason for the delay was that "the dishes were missing." During the wait, we also asked for a piadina or something to snack on, but nothing was brought.
The mixed fried fish was also nothing special, full of bones.
When paying, we jokingly expressed our complaints, and the man at the cashier even gave us a rude answer.
09/05/2026: Beach resort with children's playground and pool, offering artisanal piadinas and express cuisine. Recommended.

01/06/2026: We tried the renowned realistic fruit; unfortunately, we didn't like it and found it nauseating, as the white chocolate overpowered every other flavor. The price is excessive for the quality of the product.
The service wasn't great; the sales assistant approached us rudely and seemed annoyed by our questions.

07/03/2026: Even though I'm from the town, I used to go there for lunch every now and then with my husband, who unfortunately has now gone to heaven, and I always had a good time. As a very critical gourmet, I can say this both under the old management, Poldo, and under the new one, which has maintained the quality and kindness. I've also recommended it to people who came to do some work on me, and they thanked me for the good suggestion.
