16/02/2026: An old-fashioned family-run restaurant, it feels like you're stepping back in time. The atmosphere is clean and simple, the owners are simple people, but with a lot to say, kind and affable. The food is excellent, with seemingly simple preparations, but with a lot of work and dedication. And then, with great surprise, the arrival of a beautiful red cat that made everyone smile. Well done... I hope to return as soon as possible 👍

08/03/2026: The restaurant is large, even too large. With a place like this, you either have enough staff or you risk hours and hours of waiting, which, in my case, really made me nervous. Furthermore, in a place like this, you expect professionalism, and I found little of it. The food was also MEDIOCLAR... the risotto was overcooked and had no flavor; the rest was good but not exceptional, nothing wow-worthy... RATING 6

16/08/2025: When we come to the beach, it's the first place we stop upon arriving in Portogaribaldi. We have a great breakfast here; the croissants are AMAZING, especially the mandarin one, which is my favorite. The girls are very kind and helpful.
19/07/2025: Good breakfasts, excellent pastries, excellent bomboloni, what can I say? Fantastic cakes.
The pastry chef accommodates every request and creates delicious, delicate cakes.

05/11/2025: I just went there for lunch. It's been a while since I've been there, but every time it's a guarantee. The staff is very kind and the food is excellent. They make you feel at home. I don't live very close, but it's worth a visit. I definitely recommend it.
10/10/2025: I find this small restaurant very cozy. The service is friendly and prompt. The food is highly recommended. It's advisable to reserve a table in advance.

23/01/2026: The piadina itself was good; I would have preferred it if the ingredients had been a little more artisanal, but otherwise, it was delicious.
The service was excellent, and the atmosphere was quiet and warm.
The price was more than fair, with a small discount for being a student.
Recommended for anyone who wants to eat something good and quickly while saving money.

29/12/2025: I heard they're closing, and honestly, I'm not upset. I went there for a pool party, and besides charging us a different price than agreed upon, they were rude and unfriendly. It's a shame because the place has potential, but the managers don't know how to work with the public.
26/12/2025: Expensive and with slow service that makes you want to leave. I hadn't been here in twenty years, now I might not return for the next 20.

I've been going to La Zanzara for years, it's one of my favorite places. I've been there twice in the last eight months and I've found it to be a different place, not so much in terms of aesthetics; apart from the fireplace, everything is almost as beautiful as before. However, I've found the menu and service to have slipped. The quality is still good, but the dishes no longer have the same refinement and attention to detail as before. It's as if something is missing, the same goes for the service. The criticism is meant to be constructive, as I think it's a shame if a place like this loses the prestige that has distinguished it for years.

01/02/2026: We had two grilled fish dishes: very good, but I have to give it four stars because the sole was lukewarm (a polite way of saying cold), and since it arrived quickly, we assumed the fish was precooked. It was good, but at €34 per person, we expected excellence.

18/08/2025: I'm very happy to write a review about my recent experience at this beach resort. Before going on August 15th, I called to make sure I'd get an umbrella and a lounge chair, and especially to see if they'd accept my elderly cat. The answer I received was yes. Upon my arrival, both she and I received a lot of attention, both on the beach and from the staff, in the restaurant, and at the bar. I had a wonderful time and recommend it, especially for those traveling with pets, and also for the good food. I give it a solid 10!!! Well done, keep up the good work.

14/01/2026: The staff is young, friendly, and helpful. The pizza is good, but the aperitivo could be a bit more refined, in terms of portions, quantities, and, especially, the accompanying appetizers! The prices are quite high, considering the type of place and the amount ordered.
31/12/2025: Terrible experience on Monday, December 29th. I booked this place with a small group of friends, and they put us on a (poorly heated) veranda, all packed in like sardines and in a terrible state of disarray. And then I wonder: why aren't waiters taught that using "tu" with sixty-year-old guests is completely out of place?
The pizza wasn't bad, but we left as soon as we finished it... we even skipped dessert...
