16/08/2025: We made a last-minute decision...we booked at Rist.Il Girone dei Golosi! Excellent choice, great food and drinks. The owner is always very kind, thorough, and friendly. We feel right at home! We'll be back soon!

22/06/2025: Bad experience for what the menu called pasta allo scoglio...not well defined seasoning with a drawn out squid sauce and sporadic presence of only 4 shelled mussels for a total of perhaps 60 grams of pasta.. Pasta allo scoglio requires crustaceans and molluscs in white coloured possibly with fresh cherry tomatoes........a real joke considering the price paid. Never again.

16/08/2025: When we come to the beach, it's the first place we stop upon arriving in Portogaribaldi. We have a great breakfast here; the croissants are AMAZING, especially the mandarin one, which is my favorite. The girls are very kind and helpful.

18/05/2025: A charming B&B, immersed in tranquility and surrounded by a well-kept garden that immediately invites you to relax. Even though I only had the opportunity to stop for dinner, the experience was unforgettable: delicious dishes, prepared with care and passion, that tell the story of the territory with authentic taste. The staff was of a rare kindness, always attentive and welcoming. The relaxing atmosphere, far from the chaos of the city, makes it the ideal place for a pleasant evening in the company of friends or family. Impeccable cleanliness and great attention to detail. I will definitely return, maybe even to stay overnight! Unfortunately I don't have photos of the dishes, I was too busy enjoying every single dish! Truly excellent!

14/10/2025: It's a beautiful and welcoming restaurant with soft lighting and tables in the garden. As soon as you enter, there's a large table full of fabulous appetizers, including a wide variety of vegetables: asparagus, delicious and sweet baked pumpkin, peperonata (a spicy dish of peppers), eggplant mushrooms, zucchini, green beans, boiled potatoes, grilled tomatoes, but also cured meats, frittatina (fried omelette), small soft goat cheeses, giant green Cerignola olives, baby artichokes in oil, anchovies—in short, a veritable feast of delicacies, and you can help yourself, choosing whatever you like. A lovely way to start! Then there are many typical Ferrarese dishes, such as pumpkin tortellacci with butter and sage, as well as tagliatelle or pappardelle, with chanterelles or porcini mushrooms in season, and eggplant parmigiana—in short, a truly extensive menu. The desserts are also very good, including the truly exquisite Sicilian cassata. Extensive wine list. Friendly and attentive service. The restaurant is located on a wonderful, quiet cobblestone street lined with flowering trees and beautiful old houses, just steps from the famous Palazzo dei Diamanti, which often hosts prestigious art exhibitions.

01/10/2025: Spectacular restaurant with impeccable service and refined food. I definitely recommend the first courses, but this place truly excels in both sweet and savory fried dishes.

22/08/2025: We arrived on a Wednesday evening, four of us, at 10:45 PM. We asked if we could grab a quick entree, as it was late. They told us the kitchen was closed, BUT they could make us a entree. We sat down; there were people eating in the dining room, it was karaoke night. We waited over 15 minutes before anyone showed up at the table. The waitress arrived with menus for an ALL-YOU-CAN-EAT meal for €25 per person, saying that "that's the deal for the evening," and that not everything was available, since the kitchen was ABOUT TO CLOSE, but we could choose what was left. We told them what they'd told us earlier. They told us that Wednesdays are like that. Even if we ordered just one entree, it would cost us €25 without a drink. We reiterated that a full menu at that time was out of the question. The waitress got angry. We spoke to the owner, who replied, "I live off this." I reiterated that it was practically 11 p.m., that we had asked before sitting down, and that we had only been given the option of a first course, but the all-you-can-eat option hadn't been mentioned, and that, at that hour, it was crazy. They didn't come to us. We wanted to eat and pay; perhaps we would have spent more with drinks, but no way. We got up and left.

21/09/2025: A fish and chip shop at the end of the harbor, with outdoor seating overlooking the canal harbor. The casual atmosphere and friendly atmosphere complement the good food. I had fried calamari and shrimp served with a sweet and sour sauce, a combination I'd never tried before and I must say I thoroughly enjoyed it. I also had grilled eel, which was well cooked and a generous portion. Fair prices.

25/08/2025: The fried calamari and shrimp are excellent, best enjoyed sitting along the pier! 👍 They also have tables for those more traditional than me. 😁

14/05/2025: The first time I was in Ferrara, back in 2023, I used to come here every morning before heading to work to enjoy a cappuccino and something to eat. The people who work here are incredibly kind and lovely. They made me feel very comfortable, and this place quickly became my safe haven. Now that I’ve had the chance to return, I’m still greeted with the same warmth and kindness as before — and that’s what keeps this place feeling like home. Thank you so much.

11/05/2025: Veramente spettacolare, a partire dagli antipasti che erano veramente fantastici, consiglio vivamente quello di cozze e vongole , i primi veramente buonissimi, e la grigliata l’ha fatta come volevamo noi modificando quella sul menù ( direi veramente fantastico) . Chi ha scritto che il pesce era surgelato consiglio di andare a mangiare a casa propria perché di pesce non ne capisce proprio niente.

10/05/2025: Sosta pranzo durante una gita in moto, che dire, per quel poco che abbiamo preso, frittura come antipasto e spaghetti alle vongole, tutto veramente buono, degli spaghetti così erano anni che non li mangiavo , così buoni e curati, fatti finalmente come Dio comanda!! Ci tornerò sicuramente

29/05/2025: The girl who served me was very kind, I want to say it!!!! The pizza was good as dough and ingredients, except for the spicy salami..... Very salty! The environment could be a little bit modernized but clean and tidy. I would go back!

12/10/2025: Tried it during lunch break. Good quality of food. Service not very fast, it is difficult to stay inside during the hour-long work break. Enjoyed an excellent vegetable minestrone and a delicious hamburger accompanied by really tasty and light fries. The cappellacci with ragù are delicious.
