04/01/2026: Last week I had a burger; it wasn't bad, but it was in a bun that was burnt on the outside and not only raw on the inside, but with a gray crumb full of water.
It's too expensive to bake frozen bread!
02/11/2025: Calling Scaccianuvole a pizzeria is an understatement. Yes, they serve wood-fired pizza, but the first and second courses, side dishes, and desserts are simply delicious.
The menu is extensive and varied, with plenty of vegetarian and vegan options.
Excellent value for money.

25/01/2026: It's always nice to go there. The food is good, the drinks are better, and the retro atmosphere is that of a true beer hall. The opposite of the current trend of sterile, cold spaces. Oh, and the waitress is very kind and polite, which is also a rarity these days. If I didn't live out of town, I'd go there much more often.

01/02/2026: I stumbled upon it by chance on the way home. It's an old-school trattoria with a truly delicious classic menu in a welcoming and clean environment, with a very friendly and charming waiter (both in manner and appearance 🙂).
Those unexpected but heartwarming moments!

09/03/2026: I stopped for a fixed price dinner, the place is worth a look on the outside but the inside is all in all familiar, as are the staff who run it. The food and service are decent considering the fixed price and I think that I would definitely return if I had the chance.
24/02/2026: I've been there before and it's always a confirmation. The food is good, and they have a set menu for €14, or €16 with dessert. Today I was late, there were five of us, and they cooked for us after the kitchen closed.

13/02/2026: With a view of the Estense Castle, we stopped to taste one of the house platters. If memory serves, it was the "Palazzo Schifanoia": Parma ham, truffle mortadella, Piacenza Coppa DOP, Ferrarese Zia PGI, and pink salami. All washed down with a quarter of wine and a mix of piadas—classic, with wine, and pumpkin. Sitting there, with the silhouette of the Castle as a backdrop and the discreet hustle and bustle of the square, time seemed to slow down, suspended between bites and sips. Almost naturally, we moved on from the platter to share a first course: tagliatelle with white ragù, ordered more out of greed than hunger. Everything was perfect. A bitter, and then we were off, ready to clock up more miles.
08/12/2025: I celebrated my graduation here, a very nice place, very kind staff and delicious food, the atomic fried cappelletti!

I'd heard good things about it, but I was disappointed.
24/12/2025: We were three couples having lunch at the lido to celebrate Christmas. It was a terrible experience: the food was poor in quantity and, above all, in quality (inedible spaghetti with clams and undercooked and tasteless cappellacci with eel), the restaurant door was broken and opened every five minutes with every gust of wind (icy cold). Added to all this, a group of friends at an adjacent table made a terrible racket. I suggest the management fix the entrance door and pay more attention to the kitchen.

26/02/2026: I had a set fish menu, spaghetti allo scoglio. The mussels were old or of various kinds. Smelly! The clams were all closed. Probably frozen. 1 shrimp and a small piece of mantis shrimp. The grilled fish was acceptable. €20.
P.S. To the owner, I'm not hiding behind a keyboard. I'm sorry I didn't take a photo of the dish! I know the restaurant business and I'm good at it. That fish is a disservice to the local cuisine. I'll give you a shout out. Best regards!

21/09/2025: A fish and chip shop at the end of the harbor, with outdoor seating overlooking the canal harbor.
The casual atmosphere and friendly atmosphere complement the good food. I had fried calamari and shrimp served with a sweet and sour sauce, a combination I'd never tried before and I must say I thoroughly enjoyed it. I also had grilled eel, which was well cooked and a generous portion. Fair prices.
25/08/2025: The fried calamari and shrimp are excellent, best enjoyed sitting along the pier! 👍
They also have tables for those more traditional than me. 😁
