27/02/2026: Very nice. A surprise. From the outside, it doesn't look like the gem it turns out to be. The Catalana (reservation required) is superb! And the tuna with a side dish was also spectacular!
23/02/2026: Dinner on Saturday night... nice place and very helpful staff. Excellent food, from appetizers to desserts. The strettone verdi are amazing. Price is reasonable. Recommended.

11/03/2026: A truly wonderful experience, which came about by chance at a very difficult time for my family. Beyond the exquisite dishes and wines, we were struck by the human sensitivity of the Chef and his staff, who made us feel pampered and at home. A unique place, highly recommended. There are people with heart and love, and Chef Andrea and his entire staff are a tangible example of this. Thank you all.
02/03/2026: A truly sensational lunch, starting with excellent cured meats, special mention for the salami and the Pata Negra prosciutto, truly delicious. The small crescentine slices were clever.
I ate a truly devastating venison cheek, tender and flavorful, and not at all tangy.
The Majani dessert

The chef's friendliness was wonderful, coming to the table without exaggerating, asking for feedback and explaining the products and their history.

12/03/2026: Excellent food made with produce from the garden, and the vegetarian options are also interesting. Dogs are welcome, even in the rooms, which are simple but equipped with everything you need.
15/02/2026: I already knew the quality of their wines, and this time we went for dinner instead. Excellent, courteous yet discreet service. The dishes were carefully crafted with quality ingredients and unconventional flavors. We loved it.

13/03/2026: We stumbled upon it somewhat by chance for lunch, as we live in the area. The restaurant is very spacious, with plenty of parking, and it hosted a large and noisy group, but they were very well contained in a dedicated room, while the other guests could enjoy the peace and quiet in another room. The service was fast and impeccable, but I was a bit disappointed with the food: the lasagna was good but "very wet with béchamel and soft" and not nice and crispy with a lot of ragout like "my mother's." The dessert was a bit too dry for my taste, but the sauce was good. There was no complaint about the price.
07/03/2026: We had lunch for two. The lasagna was just okay, but the pasta was overcooked and too moist. The rabbit with potatoes was good, nothing special. In my opinion, a bit pricey for the quality.

10/03/2026: I would have given zero stars if it were possible. Not for the food (which we didn't even get to try), not for the atmosphere (which we didn't enjoy), and not even for the service.
As soon as we entered the restaurant—the first time in my life, and certainly the last—we were immediately assailed with accusations about why we had entered through a "locked" gate, which was actually open.
After a few minutes of heated questioning about why we had entered, a less-than-friendly woman told us there was no room for us.
To say it was inelegant, rude, and simply inhumane would be a real understatement.

10/02/2026: I went there for the first time today, February 10, 2026. I called ahead to reserve a table and was told by the manager that it wasn't possible. You could only reserve a table by showing up in person. Today, there was a trio of a first course, a second course, and a vegetable-based side dish, plus a trio of shellfish with minced meat, dried-out oven-baked scallops, and a few baked potatoes. The pasta was poor, tasteless, and I left it all. The second course consisted of two so-called scallops, both lukewarm, one of which was dried-out, and very few baked potatoes. Bottled water was fine. If I had to rate the food, 1 star would be too much. I advise anyone not to come here unless they want to waste their money. The absurd thing was that the place was packed. The third photo is the incoming menu, the fourth photo is the menu I left before I left the table.
31/10/2025: At the restaurant: very fast, everything very good. Everyone in the dining room was very professional.
I'll be back.

17/02/2026: For me, this is the best pizzeria in Sasso Marconi. The pizza is truly delicious! The dough is light and crispy to perfection, and the ingredients are always fresh and high-quality.
The staff is also very friendly, and the atmosphere is welcoming. If you want to eat good pizza in Sasso Marconi, I absolutely recommend it!
16/02/2026: Good morning, I haven't used this pizzeria yet, but I think few people care about their customers like the owner does. We're the security guards stationed at Monte Mario, a place with no address or number.
The owner came to inspect the place to see if home delivery was possible.
We appreciated the gesture and will clearly be returning customers.

20/02/2026: I stayed at this hotel in late November for a weekend in the Bologna area for a concert at Unipol. The rooms were clean and spacious, simple but functional. The breakfast was good. The staff was very nice and friendly.
