11/08/2025: For the night of San Lorenzo, we chose to enjoy a culinary experience with Chef Andrea Funi. Welcomed to the restaurant's charming terrace at sunset, we immediately felt at ease, pampered by the chef and his warm staff.
We began with a sampling of exquisite local cured meats, paired with the chef's homemade bread and fried greens with a hint of mint—a flavorful yet refreshing combination that delighted our palates.
Continuing the meal, the classic tagliatelle Bolognese proved a true delight, followed by an excellent stuffed quail: a delicate yet flavorful dish.
The desserts were a real surprise—excellent in every way, with balanced flavors and inviting presentations. And to complete the culinary experience, the 2021 Chardonnay Riserva, recommended by the chef, was a perfect choice: fruity, fresh, and the ideal accompaniment to every dish.
I highly recommend Chef Andrea Funi's restaurant to anyone looking for fine cuisine with attention to detail and a quality wine selection.

24/07/2025: Posto simpatico grande all'aperto con un sacco di tavoli. Personale veloce. Caratteristica le crescentine e le tigelle con formaggi, salumi, pesto modenese x le tigelle, e olive funghetti cipollotti
Buone ma speravo meglio e porzioni piccole. Venticello che ti aiuta a riprenderti dai 40 gradi di Bologna. Prezzi buoni. Conviene prenotare è sempre pienissimo
23/07/2025: D’estate è un vero piacere salire per mangiare in questo posto. Ha tavoli all’interno e all’aperto, è pet friendly e il personale è gentilissimo. I prezzi sono onesti e il cibo semplice e buono, veramente bolognese. Crescentine ottime e abbondanti. Consigliatissimo.

26/06/2025: During our vacation we have eaten twice at "Il Ragna D'oro". The people there are very nice and the food was truly excellent especially the "crescentine e tigelle" and the "cramigna con ragu di salsiccia".

08/08/2025: The entirely homemade lasagna (pasta, ragù, and béchamel) is an experience. But the other dishes are no less impressive. I recommend the imperial cutlet, a triumph of flavor. Perhaps with a glass of Sangiovese. Excellent.

08/07/2025: Lorenzo is a wonderful person. He welcomed us with great warmth and professionalism. Even though the restaurant was closed, he prepared a delicious lunch for us: two types of lasagna, mortadella flan, vegetables, and an excellent wine from their own production. He also kindly provided us with water, a refrigerator, and the farm's amenities, even allowing us to do laundry—essential for us hikers on the Via degli Dei.
Top facility. Very beautiful.
Highly recommended!
22/06/2025: We slept in an oasis of silence all new and clean.., ate excellently. And at the end bought wine..
We returned after nine months to eat always excellent

02/08/2025: I can only speak of this place as a takeout pizzeria. I've ordered here four times, each time between 45 minutes and an hour late, even when I ordered 30-40 minutes in advance. And if you call and ask how far they're going, the answer is always "the guy has already left." To be fair, they did offer to buy me a pizza after my umpteenth complaint, but that doesn't change the fact that the service is terrible.
29/07/2025: My husband and I ate a very good pizza, cooked perfectly I would say (I don't like raw pizza) the guys are kind, polite and attentive.... I will go back

Servizio pessimo, attese troppo lunghe.
Dovete avvisare, quando si chiama per prenotare un tavolo, che ci sono solo tavoli all'aperto, zona fumatori.
Attese di due ore per pranzare.
Se avete carenza di personale, non è un problema nostro.

1/25 I had pizza at Speedy yesterday too. I can only confirm the previous review.
In my opinion they make the best pizzas in Sasso Marconi. They have the option of home delivery and the list of pizzas is immense. Since I've lived in Sasso I think I've ordered at least one pizza a week. Now they make pizza of the week, which changes every week. Today I tried it for the fourth time and they're all delicious. I'll add that I tried pizza of the week for the fifth time and it's super good. Highly recommended

13/07/2025: The view of the valley? Spectacular. It's, honestly, the real redeeming feature and what makes the place worth at least a visit...
On average, nothing memorable, but not even cause for any major complaints—except for the price: €16 for a plate of tagliatelle with porcini mushrooms in an area where the same dish is cheaper just a few kilometers away, is a bit off-putting.
Let's get to the "strong point": the service. Oh, the service. It was so confusing it was almost comical. Wrong orders, bread arriving only on request and halfway through the meal, the two waitresses passing orders from table to table as if they were playing Chinese telephone: "Who asked for a drink?" "Did the gentlemen order? Where's their order?"—and meanwhile, no one has any idea what's going on.
Antonino Cannavacciuolo could use a visit, not so much to pat the chef on the back (which, in fact, does save the day), but to bring some order to the dining room. A rustic, authentic trattoria is fine, but here it borders on the theater of the absurd.
02/07/2025: Great discovery on the road. Everything is homemade, from bread to tigelle, and first courses. Very impressive view of the valley.

31/03/2025: Ci siamo trovati per caso al distributore di fronte a questo locale, avevamo bucato ed abbiamo chiesto indicazioni a delle persone che uscivano dal locale : “siete fortunati “ hanno detto “potete aspettare che apra il gommista qui si mangia bene”.
Detto fatto siamo entrati.
Il numero degli avventori ha confermato che la scelta era stata azzeccata!
La tipica trattoria doc.
Cucina emiliana, personale cordialissimo.
Mangiato genuino come a casa.
In due abbiamo mangiato un primo (penne all’arrabbiata) un secondo (tagliata di pollo con grana e salsa al balsamico) un contorno (insalata mista) acqua e due caffè, prezzi onesti.
E’ aperto anche il sabato sera, ci andremo.
23/03/2025: Quando ti senti coccolato e trattato come a casa,resta ben poco da dire. Pochi piatti ma di una qualità ottima. Porzioni abbondanti. Servizio cordiale e veloce. Prezzo ottimo. Non ci resta che tornare a trovarvi al più presto.

15/06/2025: Delicious pizzas and friendly service that does everything to make you feel at home. It was still early so we could easily find a table, within ten minutes the pizzas were on the table. Take-away is also possible. Recommended!
16/04/2025: We have been customers for years and love both the staff and their pizzas. They have special pizzas every month, quality ingredients, and alternative flours. All delicious even when delivered to your home. They are always kind, smiling and welcoming, with special attention for our children, who adore them. If you eat pizza there, there's always conversation and you feel like family. Thank you very much dear ones!
