16/02/2025: I chose to have a Florentine steak, very fat and cold from the fridge to the core! They bring you a hot plate to finish cooking, it's impossible to eat it rare, as it has fridge temperature inside. Bad experience at a high price among other things. I won't be back! As for the service it is sterile, no recommendations / value added to the menu!

07/03/2025: If you want to discover a typical Bolognese tavern, this is the right place. Important cellar, traditional dishes and more. The crostini, gold-drop tagliatelle and truffle egg are absolutely worth trying.

07/03/2025: Very nice tavern, at the same time simple and well-kept, places like this are unfortunately increasingly rare. Excellent cuisine: I had a roast beef to perfection but the menu is really inviting, in full Emilian tradition for both the first and second courses. I return after a year (I'm from Turin) and I confirm that the dishes are excellent: the tagliatelle with white ragù were superb. Impeccable service. Now if I come to Bologna I try to sleep in the area so I can eat at Becco di Legno which is a guarantee of goodness and friendliness!

08/03/2025: Dinner with a unique tasting of raw meats, not the classic tasting, a real show! Very fresh and carefully selected fish, vast choice based only on the catch, great courtesy from the staff and excellent wine cellar, highly recommended! 😉

03/05/2025: Ristorante Delle Franchine ..via Moglia 37 ....Reggiolo province of Reggio Emilia, opens at lunchtime and closes in the early hours of the afternoon ..and then reopens at 8.00pm ...this place is really nice and here you can find the real dishes of the Reggio Emilia tradition. .as well as beautiful cutting boards, homemade giardiniera, excellent meats and truly fabulous gnocchi, excellent ribs and an amazing pork cheek. All these dishes are accompanied by excellent wines, at the end there are also desserts... the one I loved the most... and the apple and ricotta cake for me and the super homemade dessert and a more than unique goodness. The cost of a nice lunch is on average ..40..50 euros. If you arrive here by car you will always find a place here because there are many parking spaces. I remind you that here we are immersed in the countryside, the area we are in is called Villanova di Reggiolo.

22/04/2025: They are looking for a place to have dinner, we enter the Tavern. Greeted with speed and friendliness, they make us sit down. Excellent food and impeccable service, even with a touch of cheerfulness that doesn't hurt. A note on your bows; 17 euros are not worth them, you should charge them more, they are exceptional.

18/04/2025: As soon as we entered the room on the lower floor there was a bad smell of sewage. We ordered a plate of tagliatelle with meat sauce, totally dry and seemed preheated, as if they had been prepared a few hours before. Not to mention the cappellacci with ragù stuffed with pumpkin which had a sour taste and were inedible. After leaving our plates almost full and explaining this to the waiter, we still paid full price. Highly not recommended.

01/04/2025: Excellent for a quick and light business lunch. Parking behind the venue. The menu is based on sandwiches, salads and fresh pasta, various fixed menu solutions. Excellent choice of meat.

25/03/2025: Top! A place discovered by chance, excellent meat (delicious tartare!), but also the tortelli were very good. We will return to taste the other courses. Friendly staff and fast service. Preferable to book.

02/05/2025: Today, May 1st, unfortunately, I ate badly! Salt in the clams... ammonia in the scampi and not very fresh fish... cuttlefish skewer with one and I repeat one cuttlefish!!... my money is good even on May 1st. As a customer, I was very disappointed also because once I reported the problem at the cashier, a discount of 3 euros was given.

20/04/2025: Everything, really everything is wonderful! We had the best nights there and we were given the best advice regarding alcoholic drinks. Upon request, all cocktails were also available non-alcoholic and the staff is lovely. I have rarely been to such a magical place.
