A very, very well-kept place, with truly excellent hospitality and food, all in a very unique area of the city. 100% recommended, especially because it's not your typical seafood restaurant. You can really see the passion they put into it here!

10/10/2025: A very refined and welcoming restaurant, furnished with a simple yet warm taste. The welcome was extremely courteous, making us immediately feel at home.
We chose a carafe of red wine, which turned out to be surprisingly good, well above the average for what's usually offered at this restaurant.
The first courses were a real surprise: the spaghetti alla chitarra with seafood and the potato and spinach gnocchi with a delicate cream, prosciutto, and chopped pistachios (off-menu, special of the day) were both excellent, with generous portions and precise cooking.
The most memorable note were the tigelle: light dough, perfect air bubbles, evenly cooked. Truly among the best we've tried, true to the tradition of Pavullo nel Frignano. The accompanying cured meats were also excellent, clearly of high quality.
The generous portions prevented us from continuing with other tastings, but this remains a more than compelling reason to return and explore the rest of the menu.
Conclusion: a restaurant where cuisine, hospitality, and atmosphere coexist in harmony. Compliments to the dining room and kitchen staff.
Highly recommended. ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐

03/09/2025: It's my FAVORITE restaurant, my favorite place, where time stands still and the rest of the world stays outside, a refined and sophisticated place. As soon as you walk in the door, you're enchanted by the display case and the assortment of cheeses and cured meats. The restaurant has been selected nationally to organize high-level events. Stefano is wonderful, kind, helpful, highly knowledgeable, the perfect host 🤩 It's a family-run business and you can taste it in the flavor of their dishes.
23/08/2025: The Simposio dei Sensi, a place that won me over. Refined, welcoming, with particular attention to the choice of raw materials. Upon entering, you're enchanted by the two refrigerated counters, one stocked with a carefully selected cheese selection and the other with a unique selection of cured meats. There's no menu; the waiter will tell you about it because it changes so often.
WHAT I ATE: I chose the tortelli filled with Stilton, a French blue cheese, served on a bed of pumpkin cream with raspberry drops. A very balanced and delicious dish. Next, a shin of patanegra (a type of ham) on a bed of mashed potatoes—it was simply delicious. The manager, on his own initiative, brought us a small tasting of Roccaverano robiola and Grigentana goat cheese with lavender honey—a true delicacy. For dessert, a crème brulee—perfect.
● WHAT I DRINK: On the owner's recommendation, I drank a 2021 Pletter Lagrein from Cesconi, a wine that paired perfectly with the dishes. Excellent choice.
● VENUE: The place is very welcoming with a very relaxing atmosphere. Not at all noisy.
● STAFF: The service was impeccable, the waiter very attentive and made us feel at ease.
● PRICE: The price of €95 per couple was reasonable considering the quality of the dishes and the service.
● TIP: If you're looking for a place with high-quality traditional cuisine, where the ingredients are carefully selected, Simposio dei Sensi is an excellent choice. Try it! The place is only open on Friday and Saturday evenings, so book in advance.

28/06/2025: Fantastisk mange ulike øl-sorter, Hoegaarden, Goode island og Leffe med flere. Veldig bra musikk, og som kunne vært enda nedre hvis ikke remicxed versjon! Det kan hende ar betjeningen kjeder seg tidlig på kvelde. Og da ser de deg ikke helt, hvis du trenger en ny øl i ferievarmen:) .

Gnocco fritto and tigelle with cured meats and cheeses to share, all very good.
The first courses were excellent: two tortelli with old Modena pumpkin and macaroni with sausage, truly out of this world!
Excellent and fast service.

07/04/2026: Characterful restaurant in Carpi. Traditional cuisine in a quaint setting. Dinner with friends began with pork cracklings and a second course of pasta dishes, remarkable for the quality of the pasta and the sauces. The tortellini were excellent, but the gramigna was something special. It continued with delicious baskets of tigelle and fried gnocco filled with cured meats, lard, and cheeses! It ended on a high note with Nutella! The bitters that came to the table after the coffee were appreciated! Well done!

20/02/2026: It's been a long time since I've had such terrible service. The waiters take food away and add it without warning. During the wine tasting, the owner spilled it on the table because she was paying attention to another table. Finding frozen side dishes on the menu is absurd given the setting and prices. The grilled vegetables were served in ridiculous quantities without any condiments. The meat was served in the same way, without even bringing a proper knife. ANOTHER BAD MARK FOR A PLACE THAT, FROM THE REVIEWS, SEEMED TO BE QUITE A DIFFERENT PLACE.

08/03/2026: An unforgettable experience of taste and view
We visited this restaurant last night and were immediately struck by its extraordinary impact: the location is stunning and offers a breathtaking view that, alone, is worth the visit. We were a group of friends (two couples and a friend), and the welcome was impeccable: the staff and the atmosphere immediately proved extremely friendly, making us feel at ease.
The cuisine: local and passionate
We began by sharing a variety of appetizers. An honorable mention goes to the giardiniera: despite its simplicity, it exudes all the flavor of local produce and a passion for the region. It was a promising start and did not disappoint.
For the main courses, we split:
The grill: The rest of the group shared two Florentine steaks, masterfully cooked and tender as butter.
My choice: I preferred to focus on seasonal flavors, enjoying a superb seasonal first course followed by a masterfully cooked wild boar. Despite the generous portions, the quality was such that I finished everything with extreme satisfaction.
Drink and finish on a high note
We paired our dinner with their own wine, a deliberate choice that proved to be a perfect fit and consistent with the restaurant's philosophy. To finish on a sweet note, the panna cotta was the icing on the cake: delicious and with the perfect consistency.
The verdict:
An excellent experience not only for the food and the view, but also for the quality-price ratio, truly competitive given the high-quality ingredients.
