29/05/2025: Disappointing experience, too bad I went to this place because it looked nice and well-kept, even if some colored tiles clashed a bit with the rest of the environment. The focaccia was really good and the food in general was decent, but nothing that justified the prices, which in my opinion were a bit too high. What left me perplexed was the service: the staff seemed listless, especially the waiter, who never said “enjoy your meal” or “thank you”, giving the impression that he didn’t want to be there. The sales assistant, on the other hand, was very good, kind and professional. Another bad note: the owner sat at the tables when the food arrived, staying too “in the middle” of the customers. I understand the perhaps friendly intention, but often people want to eat and talk in peace. In short, an experience below expectations. It could improve a lot with more attention to service and a bit more discretion on the part of the owner.

22/05/2025: Really great pizza, light dough, excellent toppings, sophisticated and spot-on combinations. A little more choice and quality on the drinks would complete the work. I give 4 stars just for this.

01/06/2025: Locale tranquillo e grazioso, nel centro storico di Squille. Abbiamo preso un tagliere della casa, con una bottiglia di Pallagrello, fiori di zucca, per poi proseguire con un primo e la picanha. Finale con caffè e dolce della casa. Tutto molto buono, sapori genuini, personale accogliente, ottimo rapporto qualità prezzo. Speriamo di poter tornare. A presto!

Platter for two people made up of absolutely non-local cured meats (we found speck and raw ham and pieces of parmesan in it, not even a piece of local cheese and I don't think they make these cured meats in Sessa also because I know Fabozzi cured meats) I ask the waitress she looks at me and replies with a sharp Yes Yes they are local and runs away. The worst comes with the mixed grill for two: COLD entrecote on a cast iron plate as if they had been grilled some time before and then left aside, chicken thighs didn't taste good while the sausage was passable (the only thing eaten was the rest we left everything and they didn't even ask us why) €25 bottle of wine and a portion of fried stuffed chillies totaling €99.50. Ate only the tarocco cured meats. We were passing through but it had never happened to me to eat like this in a land like Campania, could it have been a bad day judging by the positive reviews? I don't know but I'll tell you my experience.

27/04/2025: I was really enthusiastic about Trattoria Il Rustico! The dishes are simply delicious, prepared with care. The traditional cuisine here is special: authentic flavors and generous portions that make you feel at home. The staff is very kind. An experience to definitely repeat!
