What I am writing is the pure truth in this "Pizzeria la Lanterna" in Piedimonte Matese (Ce) of the Emanuele D'Allestro family, the first thing that strikes me I was struck by the welcome and kindness and also by the very polite and polite staff. The place is a well-kept corner of paradise, enveloping and framed by a fabulous pizza 🍕 very tasty, perfumed with first choice products, I was also eating the dish so much so that it was tasty Dear friends, seeing is believing, even the sweet ending was delicious, I will be back soon. 11/08/2024: The location is not only welcoming, but all the staff are kind, attentive and make you feel at home, which is the best feeling, after obviously the taste of the dishes, that a restaurant can have! The property is not only very knowledgeable about truffles which are the house specialty, also because they are harvested independently, but also and rightly proud of its land and its agronomic achievements, which it then bestows on the guests thanks to the expert gastronomic preparations. The place is enchanting, especially in the evening, in the quiet of the woods where you can totally immerse yourself in a peace that I have rarely found in similar places. It is a place suitable for couples who want a romantic evening, as well as for larger families with children in tow or for groups of friends who wish to spend a couple of hours in carefree conviviality. Thank you for being so present and so strongly and proudly clinging to our beautiful Campania, the land of origin from which to accept every gift and every value, in total respect for nature and its most stubborn exaltation.

21/07/2024: Farmhouse located in the heart of the Monte Verna plain, immersed in the greenery of spectacular and uncontaminated nature, the food is simple, but it's worth going!

Giuseppe delights the taste buds starting from the non-obvious appetizer, abundant and delicious, each course leaves an excellent impression. 15/08/2024: We ate very well at the Locanda Battisti. The restaurant was recommended to us by our B&B host precisely because it is an authentic place, far from the typical tourist traps, where you can enjoy quality food, especially fish. My girlfriend and I had the opportunity to try several dishes and we were satisfied with all of them. The fish was fresh and of high quality, and each course was carefully prepared. The staff was courteous, and the price was right for what we ate. We highly recommend the ravioli filled with buffalo mozzarella and lobster ragù, truly excellent!

27/08/2024: Hats off.. I've tried almost all the top dairies in Campania.. but the mozzarella from Pagliara is unbeatable.. the true flavor of buffalo milk 💯💯🐃 for me and the n1. For true connoisseurs of mozzarella I invite you to taste it

26/08/2024: I've been traveling along the motorway for years and make a regular stop both on the way out where I stop with the desire to eat mozzarella with my hands, and on the way back when returning to Milan. On Sunday 25 August I was a little unlucky because although the dairy was open to the public at 05.30, when I moved on at 08.00 I couldn't find either the provola (it wasn't ready) or the 125g mozzarella (they had to be ordered). With enormous amazement and desolation I returned to the North with great sadness as I really didn't expect this new booking, as well as the provola which wasn't ready, together with the burrata. I like to see that you take the mozzarella, weigh it and put it in bags, but today when I book them I would only have to collect the ready bag... a little sad considering the size of the dairy

26/07/2024: A truly extraordinary place for the raw materials and the refinement of the preparations. Traditional but with an extra twist. the strips of beef with citrus fruits were worthy of an Oscar. Excellent choice of expertly recommended local wines

25/07/2024: Not completely satisfied with this meeting, but it's ok. Very interesting place. The dishes served show the commitment to a different presentation compared to the usual recipes, even the typical ones. However, there is something that doesn't add up: everything is good but something is missing. However, for a definitive judgment I have to return.

The lack of respect and the shamelessness of even writing the opposite on the website is absurd: they don't have the faintest idea of ​​what it means to respect food choices of this type and make customers feel at ease in this sense. 15/08/2024: Nice place, friendly owner and good quality food. Price normal. The only flaw is the service (the lady in the room is not Italian and has a bit of trouble understanding what you want). Otherwise very satisfied, the dishes are plentiful and the fish is fresh.

18/08/2024: Near Lake Matese, surrounded by nature, there is this beautiful family-run farmhouse. Recently renovated and well maintained. Courteous and quick serving staff, homemade cuisine made with local products and at "Metro 0". Recommended to cool off from the summer heat. Note: The road to get there is bumpy but they cannot be held responsible for this.

10/08/2024: A tasty and abundant dinner from the appetizer to the dessert, all served in an elegant but still convivial venue while the prices of the various dishes do not exceed twenty euros. The waiter was courteous and welcoming although the only flaw of this place was the service which was a little too slow for my tastes. But putting this small problem aside, I recommend and will happily recommend the De gustibus restaurant!

10/08/2024: Era tanto tempo che volevamo andare in questo posto. Siamo stati per un pranzo infrasettimanale con moglie e figlio. Oltre alla tranquillità dell’ambiente e la genuinità dei cibi, abbiamo apprezzato il modo in cui i titolari si approcciavano a noi facendosi sentire come di famiglia. Ottimi i salumi dell’antipasto e la consistenza e la cottura della pasta. Tagliata di carne rucola e pomodorini squisita. Prezzo dignitoso. Ritorneremo
