07/12/2025: Very nice renovated place. Good food. Recommended

30/11/2025: It was lovely to see the restaurant renovated. These new colors brighten the place up, not to mention the new details... congratulations! The menu has also been updated, but the onion rings are the highlight, a real treat. As for the sandwiches, what can I say? The burger, cooked to perfection, seemed to melt in your mouth. And finally, the desserts, the cheesecake was a sure thing. The icing on the cake was the welcome and kindness we received from the wait staff, attentive to everything, professional, and even friendly (which doesn't hurt). Next time we'll try the rotisserie chicken; it will surely live up to expectations, we'll let you know 😂

12/11/2025: I was in this restaurant for the first time. I ate and drank well. The only flaw for me is the lack of coffee. The atmosphere is nice but in my opinion I would change the arrangement of the tables.... With the exception of a small internal room, everyone is lined up, it feels like being at a village festival and I don't like eating leaning against the wall. The price is right and I will probably return. Avoid smoking inside the restaurant even if the owner smokes.

First and foremost, of course, is the cuisine: research, creativity, and local ingredients blend to bring something new and original to the table, while still respecting traditional flavors. The dining room is also impeccable: Anna and Dodo are not only exemplary professionals, but true enthusiasts of fine dining in its entirety, as well as the chef's unique interpretation of it in this gem of a restaurant. The end result is a new and unique experience, yet one that never lets you forget the region you're in, both in terms of the quality of the food and the warmth and passion conveyed to the diners. Bravo! We wish you a second star; it would be well deserved!

07/07/2025: I had pizza here because it was recommended to me and I really wasn't disappointed. Aside from the goodness and quality of the food, the care in the preparation and the attention to tradition, a kindness towards the customer that you don't see often. These guys really deserve it. PS in addition to the pizzas, I recommend you absolutely try the frittatine which are the original ones made in batter and that remain dry and the crocché which were divine, only grandma made them like this.

08/11/2025: I went with my husband, we had a wonderful welcome, the place is quaint, excellently clean, and the waiters are very friendly. The food is freshly prepared, the dishes are plentiful, and everything is delicious. I recommend it; you won't regret it! 🫶🏼

03/11/2025: I wanted to share my experience at this place. I was there last Saturday, and I have to say there are no words to express how great we had it. The 35 euro menu per couple, as advertised on social media, is a true delight for the palate, generous portions, not to mention the very welcoming place. We were welcomed with great warmth and politeness. Hats off to the owner, the manager, the waiters, and all the staff. We will definitely be back. Thank you ❤️

09/11/2025: It's a shame I can only give 5 stars. They're very few. The owners are incredibly kind. The wait staff is polite and very efficient. And the girl behind the counter is incredibly kind and very friendly. The place is clean, welcoming, and very familiar. I went last night for the second time. The first time I had the same impression, but I waited to go back to see if it was a coincidence. No coincidence, everything is truly perfect. Congratulations to all of you, you're fantastic.

02/12/2025: It's the place we love, where we celebrate important family occasions. A warm welcome, excellent food, and attentive staff. Rooms of all sizes are available for smaller or larger events, and prices are unbeatable. The poolside atmosphere in the summer is magical. I've never stayed at the hotel, being from Caserta, but I know it has excellent reviews on Booking.com for its comfort and service.

Villa Matilde is certainly a place not only to visit, but to return to. The food is delicious and perfectly in tune with the local area; the service is always attentive, friendly, and never intrusive. The wine is certainly high-quality and exceptional. There are many noteworthy aspects, but, above all, many that make the difference: the Chef, Alfonso; Alessia in the dining room, Miriam, with her warm attention. Special thanks to Maria Cristina and Maria Ida Avallone, who expertly maintain the legacy and perspective of a history that has undoubtedly contributed to enhancing the value and culture of Campania's winemaking. 10/11/2025: On Saturday afternoon we stopped for a beer, a group of eight people, we had 3 beers and a mini platter that could have satisfied a maximum of 4 people, we were presented with a bill of 65 euros in which the platter reigned supreme with a cost of 40 euros but the surprise was to see us charged a whopping 16 euros for a cover charge.......

09/10/2025: We had a great meal here, we sat outside over looking the mountains and horses roaming around. Getting to the restaurant itself was a little nervy, it is off the beaten track but well worth it.

22/11/2025: Terrible takeout pizzas. Terrible ingredients, shoddy workmanship, raw tomatoes, and even poor quality. Obviously, zero leavening. The pizzas are truly sickening... It's a shame they look good in the photos, but in reality, they're quite the opposite. They make them better in Japan.

12/11/2025: It was a wonderful surprise to discover such a gastronomic gem in this quiet little town. The food is simply outstanding! The Sicilian shrimp were incredibly fresh, and the octopus - tender, juicy, and perfectly cooked. The linguine with fresh lobster was absolutely exquisite. Chef Sabalturo is very welcoming and genuinely interested in making sure everything is perfect. A few unexpected culinary compliments from the kitchen were delightful and full of flavor. Highly recommended.
