03/02/2026: It was our first time. We made a quick reservation with very little notice (on a Sunday), and they confirmed our table, specifying it was the one by the window. We later learned why it was the only free table, because it was located between the restaurant entrance and the restrooms. Next time we visit, we'll choose a better location. The mixed fried appetizer was good, the fried artichokes were good, but the portion was definitely small, unlike the generous and good-quality first courses. I'm used to eating the Genovese with the onions melting more easily, but I understand that the preparation for many people is different from home-cooked. Excellent second courses. We had the meatballs and grandma's ragù. The staff was always present and helpful. The outdoor bench on sunny days was truly relaxing. We'll see you again.

26/01/2026: I'd been there before to celebrate Valentine's Day and really enjoyed the tasting menu. Yesterday we went for lunch to celebrate an anniversary. There were eight of us plus a child, and we opted for the à la carte menu. The staff were extremely friendly, the food excellent, and the dishes were generous. The owner, Francesco, is kind and available to answer any questions. While we were waiting for the appetizers, he served a dish to our child free of charge. When it was time for the cake, he offered us a bottle of prosecco. Coffee, amaro, and limoncello were included in the price. An absolutely positive experience. I'll be back and highly recommend it.

22/02/2026: I had the pleasure of dining at Il Vecchio Monastero, and overall the experience was positive. The dishes are all very good, prepared with quality ingredients and featuring unique and thoughtful combinations, such as 'nduja and maruzze, shrimp and truffle, mussels and chili peppers: original combinations that manage to surprise without being overbearing. You can sense a desire to innovate while respecting flavor. The service is friendly, attentive, and helpful, making guests feel at ease. One note regarding the layout: the restaurant is located in a modern building, so it has nothing to do with the feel of an old monastery. The dining room could also use some updating, as the current table layout creates an unpleasant and less intimate atmosphere than one would expect. Overall, however, it remains a restaurant I recommend for the quality of its cuisine and the courtesy of its staff.

The cuisine is the true highlight, with the freshest, highest-quality ingredients transformed into succulent grilled dishes, original platters in the shape of Italy's regions filled with cured meats and cheeses, and expertly reinterpreted regional specialties, offering generous portions, authentic flavors, and thoughtful presentations that captivate from the first sip. The wine list is another highlight, with an interesting selection ranging from classic local labels to more original options, perfect to accompany every course. To top it all off, convenient parking and easy reservations make the place accessible and convenient. 05/03/2026: I discovered this place by chance, and I have to say it was a fantastic discovery. Spectacular food, impeccable service, and polite, helpful staff who make you feel at home. Recommended, I'll definitely be back.

Communication was poor, responsibilities were not handled properly, and there was little to no regard for customer satisfaction.

13/02/2026: You don't need to go to a seaside resort to enjoy excellent seafood. At Locanda Battisti in the center of Caserta, you can enjoy excellent seafood in various ways. The wine list is well-suited for a variety of pairings, from local wines and sparkling wines to national and international selections. The atmosphere is very welcoming, and the discreet and competent staff will make you feel at home.

02/02/2026: A big shout out to this small but great burger joint, which not only makes a great sandwich for everyone, but also caters to those with intolerances and celiac disease. A delicious gluten-free sandwich, of excellent quality, that doesn't crumble and stays firm until the last bite, along with all its delicious ingredients. Well done, and a huge thank you.

19/12/2025: A real disappointment! All that glitters is not gold! It's completely different from what is advertised and described! The pizza dough is a bit rubbery and soggy, not exactly easy to digest. The pizza was burnt in several areas (see photo) and the toppings were salty, especially the speck on the Montanara. It's well known that burnt products are bad for your health. The topping (braided DOP buffalo mozzarella) on the Vulcanica was tasteless. Furthermore, this pizza also had too much tomato sauce, making it soggy. The menu only includes four traditional pizzas; the others are all specials, with prices that don't match the quality. The service is a bit slow. IT'S NOT WORTH IT! NEVER AGAIN!
