The dishes are carefully prepared, full of flavor, and always accompanied by a bit of history, which I was pleasantly informed about with each service. There are many details, not trivial ones, that make a dinner truly enjoyable: fresh flowers on the table, well-made place settings, a pleasant background music. I thoroughly enjoyed it.

31/03/2026: There are places that aren't just restaurants, but beautiful breaks in the day. Teodoro was like that for me. I arrived almost by chance and found myself in a truly welcoming place: the windows open onto the greenery, the light, that sense of space that makes you slow down without realizing it. The food follows the same lines: essential, authentic, sincere. A mozzarella that needs no explanation, a prosciutto that speaks for itself, a meat that tastes of true quality. It's not just eating, it's feeling that what's on your plate has been carefully chosen. But what struck me most was the human touch. Attentive, attentive, but above all honest service. In an age when they often push you to add, someone here stopped and told me, simply, that would be enough. It's a small gesture, but it says it all. Fair prices, a clean, unforced experience. I left with a simple feeling: I'll be back. Because when a place makes you feel good, you recognize it immediately.

The host was impeccable, passionate, and knowledgeable. The service was excellent, and despite it being a Saturday and very busy, everything was served promptly.

28/02/2026: We went to Le Gourmet in Sperone and had a truly wonderful experience. The staff was friendly, professional, and immediately made us feel at ease. The restaurant is well-kept and welcoming, one of those places where you instantly feel at home. We chose a rich and varied appetizer: fried cod and broccoli rabe (crispy on the outside and soft on the inside), sea bream with escarole and Acerra "dente morto" cannellini beans (delicate and well-balanced), leek and potato flan with Castelmagno and mace (creamy and fragrant), and a mini sandwich with pulled beef, caciocavallo cheese, and crispy onion, delicious and full of character. For our first course, we had the risotto with walnuts, anchovies, black garlic, and Fiano sauce: creamy, enveloping, with fantastic textures. For our second course, the cod alla pertecaregna 2.0, a truly successful reinterpretation of tradition. We finished with the mandarin dessert, truly amazing. Excellent ingredients, great attention to quality and local produce. It's a place that has won our hearts.

06/04/2026: We went to this place for lunch on a Sunday. The location was welcoming, the wine excellent. As an appetizer, we ordered three meatballs with truffles on a bed of pecorino cream. The meatballs were good, but they could have been excellent if they had been served hot (we mentioned this to the waiter and the owner). For our main course, we ordered 1.3 kg of good meat, but definitely not worth the price we paid. The rest of the side dishes were excellent (potatoes and sautéed mushrooms). The quality/price ratio needs to be reviewed. N.B.: To finish the wine, we ordered a cheese platter. As good as they were, you can't present them as a platter, in our opinion. Two slices of caciocavallo and two of pecorino.

05/03/2026: There are few places where I go to eat and feel truly at home. I Briganti di Scampitella is one of them. Mario and Maurizio are two exceptional guys. I will never stop thanking them because, with their great sacrifices, they bring prestige to our region in the restaurant business. I Briganti has now become a restaurant that embodies the identity of our beloved Irpinia region, and we should be proud of this. Maurizio and Mario pay attention to everything: from the choice of raw materials to the selection of products, always of the highest quality, with great respect for the territory and for true 0 km. And every time I return to savor one of their extraordinary dishes, which seems simple but actually embodies technique, tradition, and soul: pancotto with broccoli, extra virgin olive oil, cheese, and crispy dried peppers. A dish that is a true culinary experience. One that alone is worth the trip up here. You are unique. You are home. I love you Andrea

05/03/2026: Terrible experience. I'm sorry to have to give this place a bad review because I had high expectations: I'd been there before for a birthday party and found it perhaps the best in the area, so much so that I promised myself I'd return as soon as possible (it's quite far from where I live). First of all, the staff was decidedly rude and uncouth: they were constantly snorting, and the disgusted facial expressions exchanged between colleagues didn't go unnoticed. They would take bottles from the table unfinished, and without even asking permission, they would yell at the kitchen while the customers were still inside. I've never seen such poor service. And yet, it was a Wednesday night; I can't even imagine they were stressed out by the crowd, because the place was empty except for a table of about six people in addition to ours. But, regardless, if they didn't feel like working, they could have easily rejected my reservation. The appetizer was fine, but the cuts of meat were a mess: they tasted good, but we had to throw away practically half of the portion due to the presence of sinew. Furthermore, if you request a certain type of cooking, you have to respect the customer's wishes since they're paying: everything was medium rare, almost rare, even though everyone had requested their preferred cooking. After dinner, dessert, coffee, and liqueur were ordered, the waiters, to make sure they didn't miss out on anything, literally shoved us out the door (it was 11:20 PM, not 1 AM), always with their annoyed manner or, for example, by removing the tablecloth from the table while people were still seated. I think catering isn't for you.

30/03/2026: I went to the Osteria del Gallo e del Volpe on Saturday evening. Although I'm from the province of Avellino, I learned about this place thanks to the Michelin guide. For two, we ordered: an Easter appetizer, soup with Taranto beans and pork belly in teriyaki sauce, laticauda lamb, smoked duck, mille-feuille with Chantilly and dark chocolate, a glass of water, and a glass of Taurasi. Total: €101. Excellent value. Elegant location, exquisite and well-presented food, and a generous glass of Taurasi. Friendly service, always attentive and never intrusive. Negative notes I didn't like the vegetables served with the smoked duck. (The duck was excellent!) The laticauda lamb was delicious, but one of the chops was a bit overcooked and therefore a bit stringy. The service was a bit annoyed by our presence, especially the young man, at the end of the evening, especially since we were the last customers of the evening (so they were quite justified). Excellent experience, worth trying again.
28/03/2026: Osteria is just the name; as soon as you enter, you feel like you're in a high-end restaurant, a "starred" one, to be precise. We booked for Saturday and it certainly lived up to expectations. The tomato soup entree was truly delicious, and the first courses we ordered were beautifully presented and even better in flavor. Perhaps only the dessert didn't live up to the quality of the main courses. The wine list is extensive and the service excellent. Prices are commensurate with the quality. Nothing to complain about.
