Great experience, delicious dishes

The food is delicious, the service a little slow. I will definitely be back.

When we arrived, it was our first time. A slightly faded sign misled us, but we quickly realized that since it was unique, it had to be our restaurant. Parking was very convenient, with plenty of space, even shade. The host, whom we'd spoken to on the phone to make a reservation that morning, fearing we'd be late, recognized us immediately and put us at ease. He's a big man, almost two meters tall and weighing 140-150 kilos, and a friendly personality, who's always better to have as a friend and pay the bill. We chose the tasting menu, and we were right. All fresh, good-quality products, cooked well. There's no need to rush, and we're all for slow food and not over-demanding. An honest, tasty, and well-proportioned lunch is already a sign of good quality and professionalism. The choice, in addition to appetizers, is a maximum of three courses. Three first courses, two meat-based second courses, and three fish courses, but with cod. Four desserts round out the menu. The ravioli deserve a ten, divine, and the raspberry tart an eight. The rest deserve no less than sevens. I'd suggest bringing a salt shaker to the table for those like me who eat a bit more savory, and keeping the cooked appetizers warm. Cold escarole is a bit sad, and in general, you lose a bit of flavor with dishes that are too warm. The ambiance and the overall structure could use some updating and improvement; it's not period, it's not vintage, it's... it needs a bit of a makeover, perhaps with the help of an expert.

A pleasant surprise; the atmosphere was warm and welcoming; we especially enjoyed the pasta dish with cod... but also everything else, starting with the rich vegetarian appetizer and the cod alla pertecaregna... we'll be back soon.
