05/01/2026: We found this pizzeria by chance after visiting the Jago Museum. It's located right in front of Palazzo Sanfelice. Simple, but very clean and welcoming. The bathroom was also very clean. We ate excellent fried pizza and drank craft beer. Excellent price. Recommended.

03/12/2025: A charming little restaurant where you can enjoy delicious cuisine with a traditional flavor in a welcoming and friendly atmosphere. A first experience was already positive, and a second even better. I particularly recommend the delicious roasted cod, the excellent provola sausage with the ever-present broccoli rabe, the pasta with potatoes and cheese, and, a wonderful discovery, the soffritto. The attention to hygiene is evident, and the service is impeccable. Definitely recommended.

10/02/2026: 3.5/5 Our first night in Pisciotta. The food was fine for the price, nothing exceptional but completely acceptable. Since we were eating later in the evening we missed the sunset which we're sure would have added to the experience. Service was good and atmosphere was pleasant. Not sure that we would return in the future, but we didn't regret eating here. Good, not great.

After an interesting and picturesque walk through the pine forest, we went down to the seafront where this interesting restaurant is located right next to the sea... what can I say? We ate wonderfully, the dishes were well-prepared and the view was truly breathtaking and relaxing. We'll definitely be back.

22/03/2026: ...of course, the sign of this pastry shop brings to mind the whole "mise en place" of the exuberant & baroque sweets typical of our city... babà (hypertrophic grandchildren of madeleines), "deliziose", "zuppette" (English up to a certain point... the dessert was created by the pastry chef of the Bourbon court for an English diplomat and the valet was told to bring "the English soup" hence the definition.) "Teste di moro" " sfogliate ricce" and "frolle" - our favorites. Again, the heart-stopping Christmas sweets like "roccocò" (with two convoluted, baroque-shaped "cs") and "mustaccioli" (the mustache has nothing to do with it; in ancient times, they were mixed with grape must; chocolate came later...)... These hard sweets are to the dentist what skis are to the orthopedist... Other Christmas sweets, "sapienze," "Divin'amore," "Santa Rosa" suggest the monasteries where they were created by nuns who, with gluttony, made up for the lack of anything else... And the pastiera, now purchased, certainly at Easter, but also at Christmas... An ancestral sweet, without leavening, evolved from ancestors who celebrated Spring with the products - ricotta, milk, wheat, fruit, herbs - of an agro-pastoral civilization..."...hic bis pecudes gravidae, bis pomis utilis arbores" ( Bucolics) Personally, Scaturchio is linked to the "Ministerials" I used to bring to the bank at the end-of-year parties, to the "stock exchange" ladies who often, with patience and corporate spirit, forwarded my "orders".... We speak in the past tense because the COVID-19 crisis and changing corporate logic have shaken the banking environment. Branch reductions, constant turnover, the requirement to use iPhones and various remote devices for many transactions have distanced the customer from the bank clerk. The memory of that small gesture of complicity that spanned a short distance like a bridge remains. Where bridges are built in peace and destroyed in war...few remember it...I still remember the words of Ivo Andric, who - in "The Bridge on the Drina" - describes the Mostar bridge. .." He looked like a seagull, petrified as it flew between the two banks of the river...! " The very table that brings the guests together is a bridge between them... P.S. Having reached a venerable age, I myself find myself "off-limits" to ministerial positions. To the urologist...! As time changes, so do we....

01/01/2026: Be careful about sitting outside because there's an incredible surcharge. I paid €8 for two cappuccinos and also received unpleasant service.

23/02/2026: The restaurant is modern and elegant, the service was quick and the waiter was friendly. The food was good and well-cooked, although I prefer tuna pink on the inside, but it arrived overcooked. The menu is perhaps a bit pricey...

04/10/2025: A place with a breathtaking view of Ischia Casamissiola. The cocktails are original and very well made. The food is truly excellent and rather generous. The wine from Epomeo (mountain on the island) is very good.

27/09/2025: I definitely recommend both the hotel and the restaurant. The friendliness of the service and the attention to detail aren't something you experience every day. And then there's the beautiful view, simply amazing!
