La Pulperia is an excellent restaurant in Pozzuoli on Via Matteotti. It's not very large, but the dining room overlooks the Gulf of Pozzuoli. A friend recommended it to us, and we couldn't have recommended it better! The fish is incredibly fresh, beautifully cooked, from the appetizer to the main course, and everything was delicious. We went for lunch and ordered two tasting menus for €40. As mentioned, it's not very large, but there's an outdoor seating area. There are no architectural obstacles, so wheelchair users won't be affected. La Pulperia is also in an excellent location for parking, both free on the street (when available) and paid (two public parking lots very close by), plus two private parking lots nearby.

I discovered it by chance while strolling by. I found the menu interesting and wasn't disappointed by the food. The house wine is also excellent and reasonably priced. A cozy terrace with a sea view – you really can't expect more for the price.

We ordered appetizers and first courses and were extremely satisfied! The dishes were tasty, well-prepared, and had authentic flavors—a great introduction to local seafood cuisine. The service was top-notch and incredibly welcoming, with attentive and helpful staff from start to finish. The location is very relaxing, perfect for enjoying a quiet break, served with friendliness and a pleasant atmosphere, ideal for both a dinner with friends or a relaxed lunch. Highly recommended!

09/06/2026: The pizzas were okay, but nothing more. The appetizer (fish) was good. Unfortunately, the appetizer and main course were served at the same time. The service and everything else was good.
28/05/2026: We recently visited this restaurant and were left with a rather mixed impression. The food was decent, but didn't really impress us or stand out from other restaurants. The taste was solid, but nothing memorable. What did bother us, however, was the value for money. The prices are noticeably above average, and for that price, we expected significantly higher quality or at least something special. The service was friendly and the atmosphere pleasant, so overall the visit wasn't bad – but considering the price, we would probably choose an alternative next time.
