17/08/2025: Everything we ordered was truly exceptional, incredibly fresh and expertly prepared with the flavors of Cilento. However…you absolutely need to improve your table service timing, because waiting an hour for appetizers to arrive means the method you use from taking the order to the dish arriving is decidedly flawed. I speak with knowledge, having worked in the restaurant industry for several years. Slow food is fine, but this will take away your appetite. 😂 And another thing! If I order a dish (parmigiana) and after the appetizers (so after an hour and a half) you tell me it's out of stock, you're also putting me off ordering anything else, because who knows when it will arrive and… if it will even be available.

02/11/2025: I was deeply disappointed with this place. The lack of courtesy and customer service was evident from the very beginning, starting with the confusion between the paper menu and the one displayed via QR code: ingredients listed on the sandwiches were actually missing, creating poor service and disorganization. The most unpleasant moment was when I asked for a sandwich without BBQ sauce, clearly specifying that I didn't like it. The sandwich arrived covered in sauce. When I pointed out the mistake to the waitress, she tried to deny it, claiming there was no sauce when in fact it was clearly visible. The owner then intervened arrogantly, attempting to justify the mistake by saying that the main ingredient was "cooked in a sauce" that could have "colored" the sandwich. In reality, it was clear that the BBQ sauce they had asked not to add had been added. Only later did they realize they had mixed up the sandwiches, but despite this, there was no apology or correction. The sandwich was inedible, and the overall experience was terrible. Honestly, I think Cannavacciuolo should seriously work on this place, because it's not up to par. I wouldn't recommend it to anyone. First of all, calling my "argumentative and hostile attitude" is a way of diverting attention from the real problem: the lack of listening and respect toward the customer, which was evident from the moment I reported the error on the sandwich. I wasn't the one who refused to discuss the issue; on the contrary, I simply pointed out that BBQ sauce, which I explicitly excluded, was on the plate. The initial reaction I received was a denial of the evidence, not a request for clarification. Subsequently, the excuse—that the sandwich was merely "stained" by cooking sauce—proved false, as was later admitted when the sandwich swap was acknowledged. So it wasn't just a "distorted interpretation" on my part, but a concrete fact. Regarding the alleged "substitution proposal," which I allegedly refused, I'd like to clarify an omitted detail: the plate was literally slammed onto the table, without any kindness or apology. If this is what you consider "professionalism," then we understand we have different ideas about how to treat a customer. I've never shown disrespect to anyone in the dining room, but I don't accept that the lack of listening, denial of error, and arrogant tone be passed on to someone who simply reported a poor service. A negative review can be annoying, but that doesn't automatically make it "fabricated" or in bad faith: it's the account of a real experience. I reiterate what I've already said: the service I received was subpar, neither in terms of the welcome nor the error handling. And yes, I wouldn't recommend this place, not out of prejudice, but based on what I actually experienced.

06/12/2025: A classic family restaurant with a simple traditional interior, where nothing has changed for 100 years (for the better 😉). The pizza was great, I also tried Neapolitan fritta pizza for the first time 👍. The red wine tasted a bit suspicious 🤣, but it was okay. Feel free to stop by, you won't ruin anything. The pizza was delicious 👍.

19/09/2025: Annalisa probably rests for lunch on Thursdays. I'd just like to tell the chef, who was in the kitchen, evidently in Annalisa's place, that the peppered mussels, or peppered mussels, are made with pepper, just enough water to open them, and then served piping hot, with a few slices/wedges of lemon on the side. This process, as everyone knows, takes a maximum of 5 minutes. Well, at this restaurant, not only did we wait over 45 minutes for the peppered mussels to be served, but what arrived was anything but peppered. Instead, we received a portion of tasteless mussels, prepared with oil, garlic, and even chili pepper. Perhaps they had mussel soup in mind, but everything else was missing. In short, a terrible restaurant; the chef should be fired from the department because you asked for one thing and he'd bring you something completely different. And thank goodness we'd asked for a perfect peppered mussel. The "salty" spaghetti with clams also received a failing rating, also tasteless. Everything was left on the plate. A veil of pity also needs to be drawn over the octopus salad, which was dark in appearance, soft in texture, and had been soaking in oil for who knows how many days. The kitchen was dirty and the atmosphere was sloppy. But above all, the ingredients were substandard. Not only will I never return, but I'll tell anyone who asks me to be careful about going there.

09/11/2025: La Floridiana was truly a pleasure to visit. The dashing direttore di sala, Antonio , was charming, engaging, and extremely knowledgeable. He took amazing care of us during our stay, making perfect wine pairing suggestions and ensuring that we had all the information we needed to fully enjoy Capri. Food in the hotel was amazing, and the included breakfast was spectator, as well as the atmosphere. We planned to stay only one night, that turned into two in large part due to Antonio and company. The location is amazing. A short walk through a pedestrian only area where you walk by villas and gardens. The view from the restaurant and our room was unrivaled. Quiet, clean, and private, we always felt like we had the place to ourselves. November is a fantastic time of year to visit, worth every penny. Thank you La Floridiana!!!

22/09/2025: My wife and I had dinner at this restaurant, we ate divinely, a spectacular nerano, a series of exquisite appetizers, an excellent wine, a special thanks to Alfonso and Antonio for their kindness and friendliness, we will definitely return and highly recommend it

22/09/2025: I had the pleasure of spending a wonderful and relaxing day at the lido of the La Certosa Hotel. We then had lunch at their restaurant, "Pappone," and I must say it was a truly unforgettable experience! The setting was incredibly clean and comfortable, with a welcoming atmosphere from the moment we entered. The staff was truly polite and kind, extremely helpful, and attentive to their guests' needs. The service was impeccable, every request was met with a smile. I recommend it to anyone looking for a place to spend a peaceful day, whether as a couple or as a family. -Sorrento

09/11/2025: Thanks to a gathering, I discovered this wonderful place. On Saturday evening, I and friends enjoyed a dinner with pizza samples and platters of cured meats and cheeses, which we thoroughly enjoyed. On Sunday, with a large group of well over 50 people, we sampled the courtesy, patience of the staff, and the deliciousness of the food! Definitely worth repeating!

21/10/2025: Disclaimer: This is intended as constructive criticism. Average pizzeria, nothing special: standard pizzas, fairly quick service, but no special attention. The real disappointment was the caprese salad: we specifically asked for mozzarella not to be cold—stating that we wouldn't have ordered it otherwise—but it arrived freezing, including the tomatoes. A simple request, but clearly ignored. It's a shame, because a little more care would have made a difference.

18/10/2025: I ordered a sandwich a few hours ago on Glovo. I ordered a SANDWICH, but there were no fries. It's a good thing I didn't take a photo because the picture was a huge difference from the reality. It was a terrible experience, paying €37 for a sandwich smaller than those at fast food restaurants. Absolutely DISGUSTING.
