18/05/2025: Newly starred in Campania (well deservedly so), but with a long tradition, which is proposed well outside the usual tourist routes, which would be enough to highlight the passion for cooking beyond the commercial operation. Salvatore Avallone offers essential cuisine, a perfect combination of apparent simplicity and innovation, with some "oriental" touches wisely placed, which never distort the flavor of the ingredients, but rather enhance them. Summarized in a comment by Federica, precise and prepared Maitre Sommelier of Cetara: "We present what we know how to do". There are two tasting menus available, basically seafood and meat, which vary by season, both very interesting (so a second visit is almost "obligatory"). Extensive wine list, with ample space for local and Italian wines in general, and with a good number of foreign wines. Few tables in the room, good separation and intimate environment: the furniture and tableware are commendable. Prices in line with a starred restaurant. Although it does not have a private parking, it is not difficult to find a place in the area if you arrive by car. An absolutely recommended restaurant, which is also worth a detour to visit.

11/05/2025: Si parla spesso di qualità del cibo, ma troppo spesso si danno per scontate le cose ancora più importanti : educazione , cortesia e mettere a proprio agio gli ospiti …. E’ il caso di ieri sera : io e mia sorella , selezioniamo questo ristorante per festeggiare il compleanno di mia madre . Purtroppo mia sorella a causa di coliche avute pochi minuti prima di arrivare non ci ha potuto raggiungere sperando fino alla fine di farcela . Entriamo e la persona che ci ha accolti , con fare saccente e arrogante subito ci redarguisce perché ci eravamo presentati in 2 e non in 3 senza avvisare prima . Poi ci fa pesare che non stavamo sceglievamo il menù degustazione e che ci faceva una cortesia a farci mangiare alla carta ( imponendo un minimo di 2 pietanze principali ) . Ci ha quasi “ lanciato “ 1 solo iPad per due ospiti ( le ho chiesto anche per accelerare i tempi se potevamo averne due di menu ‘ … ci ribadiva che era già tanto che ci faceva mangiare a là carte e quindi ho dovuto attendere che uno lo leggesse e scegliesse poi ho potuto farlo io … finita la polemica del menu degustazione , ha poi ha ripreso quella sul fatto che eravamo andanti in due e non in 3 fino a che , le ho fatto notare il modo in cui ci stava trattando da quando eravamo entrati e , data la scarsa accoglienza e la pesantissima atmosfera creata dalla ragazza di sala, abbiamo deciso di alzarci e andare via senza neppure cenare … la persona di Sala era riuscita a rovinarci il compleanno di mia madre a causa della insostenibile atmosfera di acidità arroganza e prosopopea da lei creata …

27/06/2025: Excessive prices for miserable dishes, you leave there still hungry but the icing on the cake is being charged 1.50 for three sachets of barbecue and even 50 cents for a sachet of barbecue sauce, I definitely won't go back there

30/06/2025: Dining at Osteria dei Sapori is like having an experience at home. The food recalls traditional flavors and the management is very familiar. I would give only one piece of advice, if you can change the music it would be better. Popular music is fine, but at least choose the classics.

29/06/2025: Had a nice dinner of stuffed calamari, prawn pasta and mussels pasta. The outdoor seating made for a good atmosphere and the alley sheltered you from the sun so it wasn’t too hot. A bit more expensive than other places in the area for what we got but the food was delicious and service quite good.

Abbiamo preso degli antipasti molto abbondanti e ben cucinati, dei primi ottimi, soprattutto la pasta e patate, purtroppo le porzioni erano così esagerate che non siamo riusciti a terminare le pietanze. Siamo rimasti piacevolmente sorpresi

12/05/2025: Very quiet and familiar atmosphere, from the first visit for work bringing a large group of tourists to the second with parents for Mother's Day. Pasta clearly reigns supreme and was the subject of both my lunches, the traditional ones were excellent as well as the more modern dishes included in the various menus offered. Popular and unbeatable price for quality, size and simple elegance of the portions. The tourists were surprised by the accessibility of a very satisfying meal, so Italian with wine by the bottle. My parents were surprised by the simplicity but still masterful creation of the dishes. I was surprised by the notoriety of the place and by my first visit, unfortunately six years after it opened I will certainly return when for lunch in the neighborhood or for family celebrations ..hoping to also try the rest of the menu offering having tasted each of the first courses in just two visits.

15/05/2025: Very interesting place in Ercolano that offers quality cuisine just a few steps from the excavations. We took a tasting menu to try more courses and I must say that we ate dishes of absolute quality in the ingredients, cooked to perfection and also beautiful to look at in the plating. Special mention for the raw and cooked amberjack which was amazing from my point of view. The only slightly negative note is the service which in my opinion is absolutely not up to the standard of this place. The girls are certainly kind but you can see that they have little experience and are unable to take care of the customer as they should in places that apparently aspire to a higher level of catering compared to many other places. Having said that I did not feel like penalizing the review with less than 4/5 because everything was very good and with a quality/price ratio so far really excellent. See you soon.

È stato tutto buonissimo ma non avevamo dubbi perché ormai siamo di casa lì, il cibo cucinato bene e un servizio attento e sistemato con personale gentile ed educato. Gianni è una persona straordinaria sempre disponibile pronto a qualsiasi richiesta. Lo consigliamo per ogni vostro evento.

23/03/2025: E una location superlativa. Pulizia, gentilezza, cucina eccellente, servizio inappuntabile, personale qualificato ed esperto. Il proprietario e una persona squisita, degna di nota, un imprenditore col quale interlocuire, in sintesi una persona per bene. Sara la sede di ogni nostro evento. Sarebbe impossibile rinunciarci.

26/04/2025: The best pizza I had in Naples of all the restaurants visited. They make it with a wood oven, I ordered the truffle one and it was delicious. The dessert was also very delicious, with cheese and pistachio. Excellent service and cleanliness of the premises.
