09/10/2025: I've been going to the Mary Read for years, and there hasn't been a single evening in all that time that hasn't provided me with excellent food, washed down with equally excellent beer, and the key ingredient of all the staff, who generously dispense professionalism, friendliness, and a more than friendly atmosphere.

04/08/2026: We had dinner on Saturday. I don't know if that had an impact, but we found the service extremely slow. We asked for water four times before they brought it. The food was nothing special, just average.

The atmosphere is beautiful and relaxing. I'll definitely be back.

I'm very disappointed I couldn't enjoy the rabbit Procida-style, because the mezzano with rabbit sauce was excellent... but perhaps too generous.
I swear I'll be back to try it. Well done, well done, well done.
Oh, and I forgot, don't trust Google Maps, because it takes you to a place where the road is closed. Use the old methods: ask!

27/11/2025: It's become our home; we dine there at least once a week with the family. The dishes are generous and flavorful, and the friendliness and professionalism of the entire staff makes dinner a true treat. They truly pay attention to every detail. HIGHLY RECOMMENDED!
I recommend ordering the tiramisu because it's delicious.
07/11/2025: A great discovery, even the smells of the dishes they prepare take you back to the past, to when your grandmother and mother prepared lunch and dinner with identical flavors.
Everything was good, excellent service, and a quaint, meticulously maintained restaurant with the passion of someone who cares about their customers as if they were their own children.
An experience worth trying.

05/07/2026: I've been there both last year and this year. Last year they delighted me with their dish with anchovy colatura syringe, which was a majestic dish and now it's gone. Their Nerano was wonderful, but now they've changed it with an ingredient—I don't remember if it was provola or another cheese, definitely something high-end. I swear by the quality of the products, but unfortunately it almost gave the impression of pasta with sliced cheese because the cheese was creamy, and I didn't like it, but that's just my personal taste. The prices, which were already high, seem even more inflated than last year, even though I would have been happy to pay it if nothing had changed. I'll be back next year and hope to give it 5 stars again!
05/07/2026: A rather pricey place, but definitely makes up for it (and beyond) with its simply excellent service, food, and beautiful lemon garden. Each item had a suggested wine to couple with it. There were seperate tasting courses and chef‘s suggested 5-way courses with (rather generously) discounted prices.
Seafood was delightful, the fried seafood was served in an original and pleasing way, and the homemade pasta was perfectly cooked al-dente. Filling and delicious.
Their menu has a good selection of excellent dishes, we will have to return and try more of them.
Quality seafood and pasta, amongst the best on the Amalfi coast.

20/07/2026: Just an ordinary breakfast. The cake was disgusting. I turned it over and discovered it was rotten. I went to the waiter to check on the cake, and the entire base was rotten. The subsequent handling was also terrible: they merely apologized. Only after the second attempt to return it did they refund me, saying it was a common problem and that the problem was with the chef, not the front desk staff. I don't know where all these positive reviews come from; I only know that the ingredients weren't fresh and that, subsequently, there was no action on their part to compensate for the damage. The victims need to file a claim for compensation in order for a resolution to be found. The attitude is negative and rude.

The wine selection is also good.
The menu is extensive and very good.
The seafood Genovese is extraordinary. The price: fair! We'll definitely be back.
12/07/2026: The food and event were fantastic... but it was so hot on the terrace!
We celebrated the retirement of two of our colleagues here, and as for the event itself, everything was perfect. The dishes were excellent, plentiful, and beautifully presented, and the staff was kind and helpful in managing our table. The guests were thrilled!
The only flaw: we were seated on a terrace where there was absolutely no air circulation and no fans. We really suffered from the heat, which ruined an otherwise perfect day.
Overall, the venue deserves a lot of praise for the quality of the food and the hospitality, but we sincerely hope they equip themselves with fans in the future to make the outdoor experience 100% enjoyable! It's a real shame.

The service is impeccable, and the waiters are incredibly hospitable and friendly.
The atmosphere is nice and welcoming for travelers. The rating is a well-deserved 5 stars.
