27/03/2025: Sturgis is a very nice family-run pub, intimate thanks to the not very large but well-kept room and the dedication of the "innkeeper". The latter immediately makes you feel at ease with his friendliness and is available to recommend the many beers at his disposal and the best delicacies on the menu. Sandwich of the month and they're not very good and well you can't wait to try it!

26/03/2025: Very varied selection of beers, if you love drinking here you will really find the best. Giacomo is a great host who makes his guests feel at ease. Excellent appetizers, especially the one with cacio e pepe, a real delight. Wow sandwiches! I suggest the Bolton.

01/09/2024: This is an amazing place to stay. The rooms are beautiful. The private balcony from your room provides a gorgeous backdrop while you eat breakfast every day. There are also lounges out there. The infinity pools up above are great and provide an even more spectacular view. The property is located on the highest elevated street on the mountain, so you get the complete view of the west mountain of Positano. There are not that many rooms in the establishment, so it feels like you have the entire place to yourself most of the time. The staff and service are great. Front desk gives good dining and activity recommendations. The rest of the staff is very attentive. I highly recommend a stay here!!!

19/10/2024: Awesome little family run business — stopped in for caffe while it was raining and ended up staying for a spritz or 3. Got to practice Italian with the owner and her daughter! Had zíngara for lunch and yummy snacks with spritz. Stop by here!! Greetings from the USA

11/02/2025: Livia is a very knowledgeable and welcoming bookseller. He suggests books and tailor-made herbal teas. Too bad I'm so far away, it would be my favorite bookshop.

24/11/2024: Unique culinary experience and exceptional typical food like from our grandmothers, the difference is made entirely by the lightness of the bread and the freshness of the products used to garnish the cuzzitiello. The friendliness of the staff and owners who will make you come if you're not hungry. I recommend anyone passing by and locals to consider this culinary experience as a fixed destination.

07/04/2025: Avevamo già pranzato con soddisfazione una domenica di Dicembre scorso (prenotando al volo al rientro da centro commerciale); ieri abbiamo scelto di nuovo questo locale programmando un pranzo conviviale in famiglia (18 persone) per il compleanno di mia moglie. Scelta assolutamente azzeccata: dopo un bel po di attesa (dovuta al grande affollamento), tutto è stato perfetto, buono, saporito, servito con cordialità ed oltre le aspettative. Rapporto prezzo/qualità eccezionale. Avevamo concordato per un antipasto con prosciutto e mozzarella, bruschetta, fritturine di verdure pastellate, .. a seguire un tortino di patate. 3 Assaggi di primo piatto (scarpariello, pasta e patate con provola e genovese) e poi un secondo con polpetta su parmigiana di melanzane. A parte tutto fresco e gustoso, oltre quanto convenuto, abbiamo ricevuto dalla gentilissima Signora, assaggio di Ravioli ai pomodori con burrata e pesto, ed il figlio Antonio mi ha accontentato (incluso) anche con dell’ottimo vino Gragnano (cantine Federiciane). Tutti siamo rimasti soddisfatti. Concludo (ma non ultimo aspetto, anzi ritengo la caratteristica principale) dicendo che si viene accolti, si respira un calore, una simpatia ed un cura tipica di una “famiglia”, mettendo coloro che si siedono a tavola al proprio agio e ben predisposti all’esperienza gustativa. Alla prossima.

01/04/2025: 1 sola stella perchè meno non si può! Hanno annullato la mia prenotazione con the fork il giorno stesso facendomi perdere yums (c'era una promozione speciale da poter usufruire una sola volta) per un valore di 25 euro. La cosa allucinante però è che lo hanno fatto senza manco avvisarmi pur avendo il mio cellulare obbligatorio per prenotare! Per puro caso ho letto una mail di the fork che mi avvisava della cosa! Probabilmente a loro non conveniva visto che era previsto uno sconto del 50%! Ma allora non proponetelo! Senza prendere in giro le persone! Se trattano così i potenziali clienti figuriamoci quelli che lo sono già! Non lo saprò mai!

07/04/2025: We had booked through TheFork and, before the evening, we made sure to contact the restaurant via Instagram to inform them that there was a person with celiac disease among us. The answer was reassuring: no problem. Once we arrived at the restaurant, we were greeted with courtesy and once seated we reiterated the presence of a celiac. The girl who served us, very politely, initially told us that only the meat was gluten-free, only to then correct herself immediately afterwards by saying that they could not guarantee its safety, since the same grill is also used to toast bread. He then asked for confirmation from a colleague, probably the owner, who came to the table and told us clearly that they could not take responsibility for gluten-free, even if they would just clean the grill. In 2025, it amazes me – and honestly scares me – that there are still restaurants in Italy that are not adequately equipped to welcome people with celiac disease. What made the situation worse was the total lack of security conveyed: not only were we told that they did not guarantee the absence of contamination, but also that the Instagram page (where we had been assured the opposite) is not managed directly by them. We therefore decided, politely, to leave the place without consuming anything, because in a similar situation it is essential to be able to trust - and unfortunately this was not the case. I hope that this review will be read by the restaurant staff and help them reflect on the importance of clear communication, adequate training on the topic of celiac disease and, above all, respect towards customers who live with this condition.

10/03/2025: Located in the center of Pietralcina, there is the trattoria C' era una volta, a rustic place just the way I like it, made of very characteristic stone and wood. Inside you can visit a cellar with typical wines and local products. Excellent food, I advise you to ask for the menu and wine list which will be given to you easily. Fast service and friendly staff

02/03/2025: Sono stata in questo locale sabato sera con il mio ragazzo ..il cibo è stato tutto ottimo dagli antipasti ai primi (ci siamo fermati perché le porzioni erano belle abbondanti) . La gentilezza e simpatia del personale è un tocco in più . Il locale molto caratteristico con cantina (ambiente bellissimo) . Peperone imbottito scomposto super!
