05/03/2026: A trattoria where you can enjoy excellent traditional food. The portions aren't overly large, but the food is quality. There's just enough space in the single dining room. The prices are a bit high, but we've all gotten used to that now. Overall, I'd recommend it.

04/03/2026: On our first evening in Naples, we stumbled upon this place. We didn't have a reservation, but we were seated within minutes. The first courses were top-notch and served very quickly. For the second course, I highly recommend the grilled beef. The meat is so amazing, there's absolutely nothing to complain about. The man who works there is all by himself and is very friendly and passionate about his work. It was so great that we went back twice!

22/02/2026: I had the pleasure of dining at Il Vecchio Monastero, and overall the experience was positive. The dishes are all very good, prepared with quality ingredients and featuring unique and thoughtful combinations, such as 'nduja and maruzze, shrimp and truffle, mussels and chili peppers: original combinations that manage to surprise without being overbearing. You can sense a desire to innovate while respecting flavor. The service is friendly, attentive, and helpful, making guests feel at ease. One note regarding the layout: the restaurant is located in a modern building, so it has nothing to do with the feel of an old monastery. The dining room could also use some updating, as the current table layout creates an unpleasant and less intimate atmosphere than one would expect. Overall, however, it remains a restaurant I recommend for the quality of its cuisine and the courtesy of its staff.

06/03/2026: Fantastic food and service. We had the pasta with the octopus and the pasta with the beef stew. Both were amazing! The baba and tiramisu are an absolute must! The service team were very nice! Reccomend to reserve place beforehand.

12/10/2025: A delicious discovery by chance. It deserves 5 stars overall. Kudos to the food, the beautiful location, and the extremely friendly service. Since I'm allergic to almonds, they kindly offered me a slice of their homemade pastiera, which was spectacular. Above all, it's important to emphasize that this isn't a touristy place. And the view...well, it speaks for itself. Kudos to the management.

07/03/2026: Pizzeria and restaurant in the heart of Piazza Bellini, right in the center of Naples. A pleasant place where you eat well: we had a delicious fried fish dish and linguine in foil, their very tasty and unique specialty. But the true soul of this place is Carlo. Carlo is one of those rare people who can transform a simple dinner into a true experience. With his jokes, his wit, and his spontaneity, he made us enjoy the meal even more. Always there with the right joke, a smile, and a natural charm that immediately puts you at ease. And the great thing is that he does it with great intelligence: never intrusive, never intrusive, he knows when to approach the table and when to leave you alone. A perfect balance between professionalism and humanity. A humble, generous, genuine, and truly exceptional person. If I return to this pizzeria, it will be primarily for Carlo and his extraordinary ability to make a dinner even more wonderful with his charm.

28/02/2026: We had a delicious pizza here, you MUST try the pizza Vittorio named after the owners husband. It's an adorable little place run by lovely people. Mara welcomed so warmly and by the end of the meal we were friends. It's refreshing to see places like this still exist

03/02/2026: It was our first time. We made a quick reservation with very little notice (on a Sunday), and they confirmed our table, specifying it was the one by the window. We later learned why it was the only free table, because it was located between the restaurant entrance and the restrooms. Next time we visit, we'll choose a better location. The mixed fried appetizer was good, the fried artichokes were good, but the portion was definitely small, unlike the generous and good-quality first courses. I'm used to eating the Genovese with the onions melting more easily, but I understand that the preparation for many people is different from home-cooked. Excellent second courses. We had the meatballs and grandma's ragù. The staff was always present and helpful. The outdoor bench on sunny days was truly relaxing. We'll see you again.

26/01/2026: I'd been there before to celebrate Valentine's Day and really enjoyed the tasting menu. Yesterday we went for lunch to celebrate an anniversary. There were eight of us plus a child, and we opted for the à la carte menu. The staff were extremely friendly, the food excellent, and the dishes were generous. The owner, Francesco, is kind and available to answer any questions. While we were waiting for the appetizers, he served a dish to our child free of charge. When it was time for the cake, he offered us a bottle of prosecco. Coffee, amaro, and limoncello were included in the price. An absolutely positive experience. I'll be back and highly recommend it.

18/01/2026: Excellent restaurant! We ate very well, the prices were reasonable considering it's in the center of Anacapri compared to other restaurants, and it was also one of the few open in the winter. The staff was super friendly and professional. We ate very well, from appetizers to first courses, from caprese salad to coffee. If I were to return to Capri, I would definitely go back. Go there!

14/01/2026: Beginner mistakes. I ordered ziti "Genoese style" and they were quite undercooked, too "al dente." They replaced them with pasta that was cooked better. (Beginner mistake) In all the restaurants we've been to, bread, Parmesan cheese, and olive oil are offered at the table. Here, they offered nothing. When I asked for olive oil, they brought us (for 6 people) a small plate smeared with oil... (Photo attached) At first, it seemed like a joke, but then I realized it was an act of extreme stinginess. The waiter served us well, but I don't recommend it.

22/11/2025: I went with a colleague for an aperitivo. Pasquale is a wonderful, very friendly person, and he offered us many delicacies, including an excellent selection of wines. Lots of traditional products are available for takeout. If I ever come back to Vico for work, I already know where I'll be stopping. Keep up the good work, guys.

06/11/2025: Love this place, freshly made sandwiches/panini to order to eat in or take away, hot meals to eat in, a really good delicatessen with meats, cheeses and wines, friendly staff to greet you every time that are always so helpful, and they also have a hidden little market at the back which can be really handy for any essentials you may need. Try the roast chicken you won’t be disappointed 5/5.

19/01/2026: I'd give the food a 2.5. It was delicious, but the portions were very, very small. I understand their aim is to offer a tasting menu, but this isn't clearly stated anywhere. We ordered one main course and one dessert per person, and it wasn't enough. I must emphasize the chef's care in presenting the dishes and the very kind service from the gentleman who served us.

03/01/2026: Sensational! Sensational! Sensational! The best restaurant in Sorrento! Chef incredibly passionate about his job! Professional welcome and service! Delicious food! The best beef served, tasty and beautifully presented on the plate! Incredible dessert (the yellow pear).

18/01/2026: While wandering around Big Bench, we decided to stop here for lunch. We enjoyed a delicious braised beef and a fantastic pork cheek, all accompanied by seasonal vegetables. To finish, a hazelnut cake with zabaglione, a delight. What more can we say? We recommend everyone to enjoy the magnificent scenery and good food.
