11/12/2024: We visited Paestum in December 2024. We were looking for a place to eat, but many restaurant were shut. I found this restaurant on Google Maps that has high rating. It wasn’t busy at all during winter. We were greeted by a waiter who speaks excellent English. It was a warm sunny day we were sitting outdoor. We ordered meat platter, Caprese, burger meat, ravioli, and handmade pasta with fresh tomato sauce. The ravioli was stuffed with cheese, the texture of the ravioli was nice and soft. the cheese wasn’t so strong that it went very well with the tomato sauce. The cherry tomato in the cup present was mixed very well with the olive oil and some herbs. Everything tasted really good and ambience was very chill and relaxing. For a family of three, including soft drinks and table surface I think we paid around €55. Such a nice meal after walking around the ruins.

06/12/2024: Eating with a look at the Temples is truly suggestive, if the dishes are tasty and of the local tradition and with excellent raw materials even better, good choice of wines, moreover the shop is equipped with many good Cilento products that can be also buy. Compliments Excellent value for money

09/12/2024: Simple small and beautiful. Small restaurant with a breathtaking view managed with great attention by Raffaele who has focused everything on enhancing the territory. Everything he served us from the starter to the first course was produced in Castelcivita. In first place in the ranking are the broccoli from his farm, in second place are the Cilento-style fusilli cooked by the owner's mother and the superlative chili peppers from his farm. The rest was all of excellent quality including the house wine, an Aglianico which does not fear renowned bottled wines. What can we say with lunch Raffaele told us about the area and the people who produce those products. After lunch a relative called us where we went to buy walnuts, chestnuts, potatoes and mountain oregano. At the end of lunch he gave me some super chili peppers. I imagine you have understood that if you go to Castelcivita, a sista in this place is mandatory. Very normal prices.

08/12/2024: Excellent dishes and true km0. Raffaele brings to the table the products of his land, which he produces himself, preparing them with love and dedication. At Portello we ate very well in a welcoming atmosphere. We found true, innovative but respected home cooking, surrounded by a breathtaking view. We will be back for sure.

27/12/2024: Historic venue in the heart of Vomero, during the day it sells records of every musical genre. You can listen to music while having an aperitif both inside and outside the venue. Nice counter for drinks. You can also eat it. Being on the ground floor it is easily accessible for those with walking problems, the only flaw is the desk which is located downstairs.

28/12/2024: We celebrated a dear friend's 40th birthday at Butterfly, and the evening was truly special! The appetizer was an excellent start: carefully prepared, plentiful and with fresh ingredients that satisfied all palates. The pizza, although decent, was pleasant, even if not unforgettable. The real protagonist of the evening, however, was the view: a breathtaking spectacle under Vesuvius, with the Gulf of Naples offering a unique and romantic atmosphere. It's really hard not to be enchanted by a view like that! The environment and service completed the experience, making the birthday an event to remember. Ideal for an evening with friends or to celebrate a special occasion in a magical setting.

18/11/2024: Very welcoming place surrounded by greenery on the slopes of Vesuvius. We spent a lovely Sunday with friends and excellent food... The owners are very kind and above all they have a games room for children with a playground and 2 entertainers who allow you to eat peacefully while taking care of their children, we will be back 😉👍

04/12/2024: Great food, excellent service and wine. Natural wines that you wouldn't necessarily know are natural as they lacked a lot of the funky taste I've gotten used to elsewhere.

28/10/2024: All the sandwiches and kebabs are delicious. Overpacked burgers and top meat, delicious croquettes. We returned two nights in a row. They are fast and the owner is friendly and helpful.

19/09/2024: For a quick sandwich or piadina you can't ask for anything better. Service a little slow, but very kind and helpful. By mistake they gave us a portion of chips that we hadn't ordered or paid for; as soon as I brought it back to the counter I was told it was on house. Advised.
