06/09/2025: Who would have expected such a delectable treat from that corner of a roundabout? A delightful little place, simple and clean. The host welcomed us with old-fashioned courtesy. Polite, unobtrusive, with a smile and a calmness that we celiacs crave, he recommended a delicious beef burger. For my entrée, a bruschetta with gorgonzola, prosciutto, figs, and honey... phenomenal in its simplicity. The price was fair.

19/06/2025: Questa carne è un capolavoro! Cotta alla perfezione, con una crosticina esterna deliziosamente croccante e un interno tenero e succoso. Il sapore è ricco e intenso, esaltato da un semplice tocco di sale. Un'esperienza culinaria davvero memorabile!

22/06/2025: Era qualche anno che volevo andare in questa location e ieri ci sono riuscito. Location pulita fresca abbastanza tranquilla. Personale gentile attento ad ogni richiesta. Dopo una frittura all 'italiana, abbondante e buona, un plauso alle frittatine veramente squisite, abbiamo preso dei primi, spaghetti alle cozze, con tantissime cozze, spaghetti ai moscardini dove erano presenti due grossi polipetti , un piatto che comprendeva primo e secondo, manco lontanamente servito cosi da altri ristoranti, spaghetti con vonge da un aspetto invitante con quelle vongole veraci. Frittura di pesce: be qui merita una lode particolare, data l'abbondanza ma soprattutto la qualità del.pescato. ottimo anche l insalata di polpo. Alla fine un pò perché mancava un pò perché eravamo satolli dalle enormi portate non abbiamo preso il dolce. Complimenti ai tre fratelli, torneremo presto.

25/09/2025: A very friendly place to have a bite to eat and enjoy a drink. Pepe went out of his way to please and nothing was too much trouble - arranged an English breakfast for us each morning. Coffee and cakes also tasty - staff very friendly. Would recommend a visit.

24/09/2025: Founded in 1844 beneath Palazzo Maresca, Gran Caffè Marianiello is part gelateria, pasticceria, and bar. The curved counter with domed pozzetti lids preserves traditional flavours like nocciola and fiordilatte, while the pastry case offers sfogliatelle, cannoli, and biscotti for gifting. I chose nocciola gelato paired with salted caramel: dense, creamy, slowly yielding in the shade. The dairy was so clean and fresh it almost brought moisture to the eyes; the churn smooth, near-perfect. A touch less sugar and it would have been flawless. A landmark of continuity and craft. 9.5/10.

23/08/2025: I've been coming here every summer since 2014, and it has never disappointed us. We came again this year, as is now our custom. The menu is always precise and perfectly reflects the dishes. The wine list is extensive, featuring local wines. The Fiano di Pioppi is excellent, with notes of yellow fruit, apple, banana, and a distinct savory flavor. For our main courses, we had excellent raw appetizers (I recommend the anchovies and prawns) and exceptional fish meatballs with a unique crispy exterior. For our first course, we had a seafood Genovese, and the second course was the catch of the day with fish tempura. All the desserts were delicious, including tiramisu and fruit tartlets...all well-made. The staff were very helpful, the table service was excellent, with attention to detail, and the wine was well-served and always chilled. The bread was varied, all homemade. Highly recommended!

23/08/2025: An unforgettable evening. The restaurant is a little corner of paradise overlooking the coast, where the scent of the sea blends with that of the freshly served dishes.

16/09/2025: A simple restaurant with a beautiful and pleasant panoramic terrace. The food was good, but the difference was made by the person serving us: a petite and polite Colombian woman, who single-handedly supported the full room without losing her smile and kindness, despite the pressure (she even apologized for the somewhat slow service...). Credit where credit is due! The menu was quite varied and the prices were old-fashioned.

08/09/2025: Amazing food, very good prices (we had spaghetti for €6,-, risotto for €8,- and a bottle of great wine for €16,-), very friendly staff, and a beautiful view from the terrace.

08/09/2025: We went to Aqua Pazza Eventi for a 50th birthday party, a wonderful place, just steps from the sea. The food and service were excellent, as was the entertainment.

Marianna's added value, she contrasts the useful with heart and passion, surrounded by a professional staff, it's a place I would recommend for any type of event. 31/07/2025: We visited Ristorante O’ Pignattello for an aperitif last weekend. The hospitality is sublime, worthy of a Michelin-starred restaurant. The staff, from the maître to the commis waiters, is attentive, professional, and kind, making sure you are well taken care of at all times. The venue is meticulously curated down to the finest details. From handcrafted tables to unique ceramic centerpieces, it’s clear that the aim was to create a welcoming space rich in artisanal references to Ischia and the Campania region. The food was the cherry on top. From the amuse-bouches prepared by the chef, to the bread basket and the final sweet pastries, every element was delightful. A special mention goes to the rabbit braciola, a delicious recipe and a creative take on the traditional Ischian rabbit dish truly outstanding. We absolutely recommend this restaurant. Rowena

08/07/2025: A very nice, new hotel located on Via Monte Gelbison. Very convenient before climbing the Sacro Monte di Novi Velia. Quiet rooms with views of the Cilento and excellent cleanliness. We thank the owners Michele and his mother for the warm welcome and the delicious home-cooked meals. 🙏🏻🙏🏻
