04/01/2025: Calzoni molto buoni a soli 3 euro. Non solo fritti ma anche al forno. Non perdete la torta salata con ricotta affumicata! Posto defilato e di aspetto modesto ma cucina ottima!

03/02/2025: Nice, welcoming and spacious place, with very friendly, friendly and professional staff. Menu full of choices including meat, fish and pizza. The service was quite quick and they let us eat even though we hadn't booked. We went on Sunday for lunch and we all had the pizza which was truly exceptional, both in the toppings and the dough, for a starter we had a nice, large and good mozzarella brought along with some ham. All very good, great prices considering the quality. I highly recommend!!

02/02/2025: Nuestro guía turístico recomendó este lugar cerca de nuestro hotel, y no decepcionó. El tazón de marisco se llenó generosamente con al menos 4 variedades mejoradas por el caldo ligeramente picante a base de tomate. Su pan de masa madre extraía bien cada gota del caldo. Mi vino blanco maridado perfectamente con los mariscos. Otros en nuestro grupo de 10 también deliraron sobre sus comidas. En un enero lluvioso, el lugar estaba ocupado, pero el servicio era profesional y amable. Gran ubicación entre la entrada de ruinas y nuestro hotel por la carretera.

14/11/2024: We had our first Italian pizza at this wonderful family-owned pizzeria, and it was absolutely delicious! The flavors were incredible and we could feel the love they put in making the pizzas in every bite. The owners were so warm and welcoming, making us feel right at home. We truly appreciated the hospitality and genuine friendliness they showed us. I hope their business continues to prosper and grow, sharing their amazing pizza with many more lucky visitors. 26/01/2025: A warm and welcoming place, managed with great professionalism and courtesy by the owner, who proved to be truly attentive and affable. The quality of the food is excellent, with particular flavors that invite you to dare and experiment. It was the ideal place for a special evening with friends, made unforgettable by a dish of pork with honey and walnuts. A unique, innovative and refined taste experience, where each ingredient, carefully chosen, harmonized perfectly in a surprising combination. The spicy Castelpoto burger with provola was instead an explosion of taste, with a perfect balance between the spicy note and the delicacy of the provola. Even the wine, recommended to us, turned out to be perfect, further enhancing the flavors and completing the meal impeccably. (I'm attaching a photo of the pig: unfortunately it doesn't do justice to the original presentation, because my mouth got the better of me and I couldn't resist starting before taking it. Despite this, I hope it conveys at least a little of how delicious it was!)

15/01/2025: What a mess! We came to visit Benevento and by pure chance we landed at the cotton club. The place has the appearance of a pleasant little restaurant but with a pretentiously stiff atmosphere The menu is not very assorted. Among the first courses, the most desirable one was finished: we fell back on gnocchi alla nduja and spaghetti alla vucciaria. The dumpling was inedible, too spicy! The spaghetti was nothing more than a tasteless spaghetti alla pizzaiola. Good starter of cold cuts and cheeses. We paid 93 euros for 4 plates of pasta, 4 bottles of water and 1 starter of cured meats and 1 bruschetta. Too long a wait to be served: about 30 minutes for the starters and 30 minutes for the first courses. Note: bathrooms without toilet paper and towels. IN RESPONSE TO THE OWNER: Good morning, I'm sorry if you feel offended by my review but I only reported my experience. I would like to add that he sat us down not as a concession but because the restaurant was open and there was a free table. We did not soil other people's place settings at all but only used our own place settings including the glasses present in our place for which we paid the cover charge on account. None of us complained to the staff about the delay in service but we waited patiently. We certainly talked about it among ourselves but I hope that in your restaurant there are no hidden microphones in addition to the cameras. We didn't return the gnocchi because we were hungry (reason The choice of spicy dish was made because we love spicy food but in this case it was only spicy! Furthermore, 1 of the 4 dishes (the spaghetti) was left intact on the table. The indication of the price paid is only an indication for the reader. Personally I didn't think it was expensive. It's true that while I was in the bathroom a lady brought napkins but not toilet paper. Before leaving I washed my hands and once again found neither paper nor towels.

I'm sorry I didn't take photos of the dishes, but we were busy savoring and enjoying them right away 😆 Compliments to the chef!
