29/06/2025: My wife and I stayed in Positano two nights and ate at this restaurant both nights. Originally, we came to the restaurant for a drink upstairs. After observing Luigi (the owner/chef) create masterpieces in the open kitchen, we luckily decided to stay and eat dinner. The food was excellent but the staff was even better. Luigi and his staff (Mathan and Kenzo) were very knowledgable but more importantly treated us like family. We ate here one time for the stellar food and an additional time to hang out with our friends, Luigi and his team .

06/05/2025: Modern venue with fast and efficient service. Since it was Sunday lunch there was no possibility of a pizzeria but only catering. The menu has few dishes on the menu but they are all well prepared and tasty, with some refinements that we appreciated. Excellent appetizers and fried foods (potato croquettes made from old-school potatoes), classic parmigiana baked like in the past, top-quality cheeses, appetizing main courses. We did not taste the first courses, very good local wine, home-made desserts that seem to come from a named pastry chef but which are the result of the chef's ideas. I highly recommend it, also for the detailed explanations on the composition and cooking of the dishes. I promised myself I would try the pizzas because they inspire. High quality, average price for the area.

15/06/2025: Today for lunch we went to the trattoria da Peppe where we ate an appetizer for 2 people consisting of: fried polenta, arancini, pasta crescere and crocche'; the quantity was just right and we liked it. Followed by two first courses specifically "Lo scarpariello": good. We concluded with two slices of lemon caprese (very good and genuine) accompanied by an excellent limoncello! Conclusion: I recommend it!

17/06/2025: Delicious and abundant food! We ordered the mushroom risotto, the green gnocchi, and the pasta e fagioli. We ended up stuffed and loved everything! It's a simple restaurant, but if you're looking for good food, not showboating, this is the place!

23/02/2025: Abbiamo festeggiato la laurea di mia nipote alla Locandina e, come sempre, è stata una bella esperienza. Un aspetto molto importante per noi è che mia moglie è celiaca, e siamo stati felicissimi di vedere che ha mangiato benissimo e con molta attenzione alla sua dieta. La cucina è l buona, con piatti ricchi di sapori. La cena è stata articolata e variegata: un buffet di aperitivi di benvenuto con tanti fritti simpatici, un antipasto con affettati misti e formaggi, gnocchi di broccoli con cotechino sbriciolato e fonduta di cacio ricotta, e un ottimo maialino come secondo piatto. Ogni piatto era ben preparato e gustoso. Questo ristorante per noi ha un significato speciale, ci ricorda momenti importanti, tra cui la festa a sorpresa dei 40 anni di mia moglie. Anche in quella occasione, come sempre, è stato tutto ottimo.

24/06/2025: Sunday 22/6, a lunch for 4 people with a reservation made by phone. We arrive and they make us sit outside. We kindly ask to move inside because, despite the shade, the heat was unbearable (since the waiter had decided to point all the air at three girls, where upon request he had also been told to: lower it a little more towards them). Seated inside, we order (mixed seafood appetizer, spaghetti with clams, Margherita, paccheri with lobster, caesar salad and 4 desserts; 3 waters and a half liter of white wine) The food was quite good, but nothing exceptional. At lunchtime, the person who had the spaghetti, while shelling the clams, was brought an empty plate to put the shells on. The waiter (in his 50s/60s, black hair) puts down the plate and makes a sort of dig, saying: sorry if we weren't prompt, but we don't agree (all this just because the person shelled the clams before eating the spaghetti). After lunch we head towards the cashier to pay the bill of €154 which we ask to split between two (€77 PER COUPLE). The same waiter who brought us the plate, while they were counting everything at the cashier, decides that we have to pay €80 each (so €160). At the moment I'm a little shocked, but for €3 I didn't dare speak so as not to stoop to such levels. So I pay my €80 with a card, and the other person pays €80 in cash. What's serious is that the receipt of the person who paid in cash was for €74. In short, they decided that they had to keep the €6 tip. Unfortunately I have to say that since the last time I was there (about 2/3 years ago) I have seen a clear deterioration, both in quality but especially in service. WE WILL DEFINITELY NOT GO BACK.
