The staff is very professional and attentive, yet capable of putting guests at ease right away. The place is very beautiful and welcoming. I had a wonderful meal. The food was excellent, and the dishes were beautiful to look at. The prices were also very fair. A very positive experience in every way. Highly recommended, I'll definitely be back if I ever come back to this area!

28/02/2026: It's located on the main road leading to Amantea, not far from the A3 motorway. Excellent cuisine. The service is attentive (Danilo, the owner's son, was there to serve us). The menu is varied. We had excellent raw fish, mixed fried fish, and seared octopus. The fish was incredibly fresh, beautifully cooked, and the staff were friendly and clean. How wonderful that in Calabria there are restaurants with 40 years of history that can offer a truly satisfying gastronomic experience without going overboard. 30/11/2025: Excellent place, we had lunch on Sunday with the family, super abundant dishes, typical Calabrian cuisine from the starter to the second course, highly recommended, really fair price for the quantity of the courses, highly recommended, we will definitely be back 🙏🏼

28/09/2025: We ordered a hot seafood trio where the cod fillets were too salty and the cuttlefish with chickpea cream was very spicy, even though it wasn't indicated on the menu. Then the grilled fish: the sea bass had very burnt skin, and the fillet wouldn't come off the skin easily. Slow service for two people; over an hour passed from when we ordered to when we received our main courses (we came in at 1:15 and left at 3).

15/02/2026: Tasty and original toasts, huge, and delicious. Nothing like the toast we make at home—they're three times the size! The salads are delicious and always fresh. I also had the appetizers and sandwiches. Top!

28/02/2026: I trusted the reviews and was wrong. The sandwiches were very greasy, as were the potatoes. The sausage was low-quality and overpriced. A 33cl beer costs €4 and they serve it in a plastic cup. There aren't even plastic cutlery for eating side dishes. The outdoor benches are appropriate for the setting. There's no service, as you pick up your food at the kiosk and bring it directly to your table.

25/01/2026: The very kind staff welcomed us and offered us refreshments in front of the stove. We ordered sandwiches with typical products, and while we enjoyed them, our gloves dried on the stove. A wonderful welcome.

15/02/2026: I went with friends to eat the famous "quadrara di maiale." It's not my first time here, and the quality of the food, the kindness of the owner and the wait staff remain unmatched. The local ingredients, cooked with skill and experience, make each dish presented a sensory experience that powerfully brings you back to the flavors of home and our grandmothers' cooking. How to conclude In Calabria, there are places like this where the food is truly good, and it's "necessary" to return.

11/12/2025: Visit the cave during the Immaculate Conception weekend. The last 2 kilometers are accessible via a narrow road. The cave entrance is accessible via a 100-meter forest path. Both the exterior and interior of the cave are fascinating. The guide was very kind and helpful.

03/12/2025: If you're passing through Pollino or the surrounding area, don't miss the opportunity to visit the Romito Cave and Shelter (HERMIT), an archaeological site dating back to the Upper Paleolithic, containing one of the oldest examples of prehistoric art in Italy. The guided tour will captivate you with its artifacts, rock formations, and ancient history.
