06/08/2026: Quality, professionalism, price a bit steep. The cover charge was €3 each. They served our bread in a cloth wrapper, clearly stained in several places with sauce. When my colleague noticed, he replaced it with another, unfortunately stained, wrapper. Perhaps it would be more practical to use disposable paper wrappers given the laundry service. In the small, bland risotto, I found a piece of plastic, I assume from the seafood bag. The Pizzo truffle seemed like an industrial product to me. The Contadi Castaldi Brut, a Franciacorta served by the glass, is one of the most classic, seen and revisited, and unfortunately it cost €8. The scallops were good. The owner boasted about the various photos with various celebrities displayed at the entrance, saying that's normal considering the food is good. If he says so... I don't recommend it.

05/08/2026: The food wasn't great. Not restaurant-quality. Everything was very greasy. Afterward, I felt heavy and uncomfortable. The seafood was fresh, but not tasty. I think the problem was in the kitchen. The child's pasta arrived an hour after the adults had finished eating. They brought ice cream to one of us first, and then the oysters we'd ordered arrived.

12/08/2026: I had the great pleasure of dining at "Il Pergolato da Angelo," and the entire experience exceeded all expectations. The Atmosphere The restaurant welcomes guests in a charming, warm atmosphere, meticulously curated down to the smallest detail, ideal for an evening of relaxation and good food. The Cuisine The dishes are simply extraordinary. Each course is a perfect balance of authentic flavors, prepared with the freshest, highest-quality ingredients. The Service The service deserves special praise: impeccable, professional, and incredibly attentive to every need. 09/08/2026: We went to this paradise for a vacation and to escape the frenetic pace of Milan. We found this restaurant on the street. What can I say? Beautiful location and a menu of incredibly fresh fish. I must say that my daughter and I loved it, with attention to every detail! The food was top-quality. I've never had lobster this good anywhere. Excellent value for money. We'll definitely be back. Thank you so much.

20/11/2025: Located right in the heart of Tropea's bustling old town, the restaurant's terrace is surprisingly peaceful. The menu focuses on fish, and we enjoyed a delicious sea bream baked in a salt crust. Our starter included the region's famous "Cipolla Rossa di Tropea" onions, prepared in three different varieties. The service was attentive and courteous.

10/08/2026: An immersion in Calabrian cuisine and culture through high-quality culinary experiences. We would have loved to repeat it, but we couldn't return as it's always sold out. Highly recommended if you're staying in Scalea, but you must book in advance.

18/08/2026: We were in Cosenza for a visit and stopped for an aperitif. I have to say, the food was excellent, the quality was excellent, and the prices were average. We will definitely be back.

16/08/2026: Tourists are treated like second-class customers, as if they aren't as important as everyone else. We sat down at 9:30 PM and weren't served until 11:00 PM, practically the last ones, after everyone else had already left. An hour and a half wait for sandwiches is truly excessive. The service is slow, disorganized, and shows little attention to the customer. The price is fair, the food is good, and it's delicious. You can't leave just two waiters to manage 100 people.

25/08/2026: A truly interesting experience in a beautiful, elegant, and minimalist venue, meticulously crafted with attention to detail and furnishings, featuring a lovely outdoor garden and an open kitchen. The service is also excellent: formal yet pleasant, very attentive, with explanations of each dish and well-managed dining times. The cuisine is contemporary and refined. Among the dishes we tried, I particularly enjoyed the revisited parmigiana, truly fantastic in flavor, and the grilled sea bass, beautifully presented, with a smoky note that was evident yet balanced and never overpowering. The seafood risotto was less surprising, but still delicious. The option to choose between the tasting menu and a three-course menu is interesting. The latter, however, has a restriction that I found a bit unusual: the three dishes chosen must be the same for everyone at the table. In our case, we were able to reach an agreement easily, but it unnecessarily limits the freedom of choice. The wine selection is also good and extensive: we paired our dinner with a Kerner 2023. The aspect that I wasn't entirely impressed with was the price-to-quantity ratio. The portions are decidedly small, and even for this type of cuisine, considering the price tag of around €80 per person including wine, I would have expected a little more. Overall, Cura remains an interesting restaurant, with a decidedly above-average atmosphere and service, and a cuisine capable of producing some truly successful dishes. However, the quality-to-price ratio is the element that leaves me a little perplexed.

The hostess is a very elegant, cheerful, and knowledgeable woman, attentive and with a class that lingers, and this also demonstrates her dedication to the customer. High-quality food, with recipes that combine tradition and innovation, all in a very elegant yet comfortable setting, with modern yet fusion decor and furnishings. Chic yet very natural.
