07/04/2026: A dream. An unforgettable place. For families and couples.

31/03/2026: Wonderful resort, we stayed there during the last week of October 2025. Fortunately, the weather was beautiful, and we were able to swim every day. The resort is small and family-run. The staff were friendly and helpful, even at the end of the season. The owner was equally accommodating and a great host. The rooms are large, modernly furnished, with a lovely balcony overlooking the sea. Cleanliness is a top priority at this resort. The gardens are meticulously maintained, with many flowers, fruits, and tropical plants; you never stop discovering something new every day. Breakfast was truly excellent, leaving nothing to be desired, and the coffee was superb. For lunch, you can order pizza or other light Italian dishes at the bistro. Drinks and aperitifs are served by the pool, and the staff there are also very friendly. Dinner offered an excellent appetizer buffet, and there were three different main courses served daily (pasta, fish, meat dishes, and very good vegetable side dishes). Here, too, the waiters were witty, very attentive, and helpful. The waiters were also witty, very courteous, and helpful. The beach is beautiful, with fine sand and rounded stones in the sea, making it easy to get in and out without water shoes. There are occasionally slightly higher waves (due to the season), but good swimmers can easily have fun in the sea. Since we were there off-season, I can't comment on the entertainment, but we thoroughly enjoyed the quieter, less crowded resort and made friends with other families. It's wonderful to have a cocktail in the bar or on the terrace in the evening and watch the sunset over Stromboli. The resort offers daily shuttle buses to Tropea for a small fee, and if you want to see more, a rental car is a good option. These can also be booked through reception. A truly special holiday in a beautiful resort. I honestly can't think of anything to criticize, and I'm not easily pleased ;-)

04/03/2026: We ate for four at a charming restaurant with a fireplace. The starters were good. The seafood spaghetti wasn't well seasoned, there were only three mussels, and the prawns, like the calamari, were peeled and frozen. The price was very high, disproportionate to the quality and quantity.

09/04/2026: The perfect place to spend an evening pampered by excellent food, great drinks, a warm atmosphere, and service from those who know how to treat customers with genuine hospitality and warmth. We ordered the Apericena mari e monti (sea and mountain aperitif), where every bite (a generous amount, I'd say) was truly excellent, from fish to meat. It was accompanied by a gin and tonic, featuring a selection of gins and tonics that are not at all easy or predictable to find elsewhere—DELIGHTFUL. The background music and atmosphere of the place made you truly appreciate the moment. The icing on the cake? Valeria, who delighted us with impeccable and friendly service, truly makes all the difference for an evening of fun and relaxation. Thank you! We will definitely be back.

31/03/2026: Stunning pasta dishes! My husband is still raving about how wonderful the Strangozzi al profumo di mare (fresh spaghetti with mixed seafood) was - incredibly fresh pasta and a great range of seafood in a delicious sauce. Large portions and served with bread (in a paper bag). I had the linguine with prawns and pistachio which was tasty. Local wine was easy drinking.

I will definitely return. I ate a panna cotta fit for the gods, very unique with a sweet paprika powder topping, sensational!

19/10/2025: “Incipit” is almost a hidden gem, tucked away from the busy High Street and tourist-heavy areas. This spot comes highly recommended by locals — and for good reason. It has a gorgeous outdoor terrace with views over the piazza, but the real wow factor comes when you choose to dine indoors… in the cave! Yes, a beautifully lit, cosy cave with an incredible atmosphere that makes the whole experience feel special. The service was exceptional — friendly, attentive, and genuinely welcoming. The menu is fantastic, offering a perfect mix of local favourites and creative twists. We went all out and enjoyed the full experience: antipasto, primo, and secondo. The tuna tartare was outstanding, bursting with freshness and flavour. I had the Fileja al ’Nduja ragu, which was absolutely mind-blowing — and high on my Calabria culinary wish list. My partner chose the hazelnut risotto, which was equally exceptional. For mains, I had the pistachio-crusted seabass while my partner had the cod — both dishes beautifully presented and cooked to perfection. Highly recommended if you want an authentic, high-quality dining experience away from the tourist traps. Grazie mille per il fantastico servizio 🙏👌👏

27/04/2026: Neapolitan pizzas of questionable quality and sloppy preparation. The Diavola was bland and soft; the ortolana pizza was watery and had practically raw vegetables. Service was inattentive (they only brought me a chili pepper after I complained about the pizza's flavor) and the bill was too high for what we ate. We won't be returning.

11/09/2025: If you're in the area and want to eat REAL Calabrian cuisine, come to this trattoria. It's a special experience, as a true Calabrian tells you. Be wary of other places; the dishes aren't typical, but VERY TYPICAL!! The welcome and the raw ingredients are worthy of the name "CALABRIA." My compliments to everyone for the service and the dishes; I felt like I was eating the same dishes at home. May God bless these places again, because they are the soul of this beautiful region. Definitely worth a try; you won't regret it. Generous portions and EXCELLENT prices. Congratulations again, from the bottom of my heart.

The staff were incredibly kind, the food was excellent, the ingredients were top-quality, and the portions were generous. Everything was perfect! If you're in the area, try this trattoria with your eyes closed. It's like eating at your grandmother's or at home, and the REAL Calabrian dishes. My compliments, because they are fantastic in every way!
