Breakfast with excellent croissants with a lot of filling inside, cappuccino and coffee are the best in the area, the barista is very helpful and courteous, a very nice and professional man. 08/04/2025: The menu offers very tasty appetizers (you absolutely have to try the pulled pork meatballs!), first courses, second courses of quality meat and with very generous portions, huge sandwiches, also composable to your liking. Friendly and professional service, a slightly narrow and not very airy environment if you go up to the upper mezzanine but, all in all, livable.

24/03/2025: A Locanda du Gucceri in Marina di Gioiosa Ionica is the perfect place for those who love gourmet sandwiches and quality grills. Fresh ingredients, authentic flavors (try the "Pork" sandwich) and an informal environment make the experience pleasant. The staff is friendly and the prices are fair for the quality offered. Sometimes the wait can be a little long at peak times, but it's worth it. Advised!

14/01/2025: This summer, while passing through Brancaleone Marina, I had dinner in this restaurant. I'll just say that I ate the best pasta and sea urchins of the whole summer, a flavor that I still pleasantly remember. Together with my partner we also enjoyed tasting the different tastings of fish-based appetizers, very particular and beautiful to look at as well as taste. Very welcoming and elegant staff at the end. At the end we were also lucky enough to greet the chef and tell him Congratulations. A truly great experience

24/03/2025: What a wonderful find. Our room was nice and clean, nothing special, entirely my fault as I misread the brochure. While we were there the place was full for a medical conference. We were the only people staying who weren't part of the conference. The view is spectacular. Walking through the orange orchards, the olive trees, and the apricot trees which were in bloom was wonderful. Food was excellent. Great breakfast buffet, and we ate in the restaurant every night as each day was a new menu. Service was excellent. Thanks to Franco and Alexandra for making our stay special. We were chatting with one of the conference attendees. Her question, how did you, coming from Canada, find this place. It's well worth a visit

29/10/2024: Bar famous for its cremolata, you wouldn't think so from the outside. At the back there is a large terrace with plenty of seating. Nothing to say about the food, very good, I recommend going at times of low attendance because although it is dispersed in the Calabrian hills you could find yourself queuing for more than half an hour for a seat

20/02/2025: For our 10th wedding anniversary my wife and I traveled from the US to Italy in April of 2024. Maida may not be in every tourists’ itinerary, but all of my father’s grandparents immigrated from Maida to Ambler, PA in the first decade of the 1900s so we made sure to visit. We stopped in for a meal and it was like being transported back to my grandmother’s kitchen. We were served course after course of delicious, authentic food. We were overwhelmed. Thank you for an amazing experience.

03/01/2025: Typical Calabrian trattoria. Good food, wonderful service from Mrs. Graziella, which still gives hope for humanity and the kindness of mankind. Very high quality of food with clearly fresh and excellent quality products.

22/03/2025: Welcoming place run by very kind, young and helpful people. Modest prices and a modern and particular atmosphere. Ideal for parties with large tables. We also took advantage of the entertainment and karaoke offered by the place itself. We had a lot of fun!

18/01/2025: I don't have much to say, except that this place is always a guarantee! I chose the tasting menu with a whole series of courses that really impressed me, especially the cube of cabbage with cod. During the evening I also asked the owner of the restaurant for a particular wine whose name or type I couldn't remember, based only on the flavour: she worked hard all evening to look for something similar, even letting me taste a glass of that free wine. I will come back again
