13/08/2025: Small restaurant located in the narrow streets of central Tropea. Very good food, very friendly staff. Reasonable prices. Everything excellent. 👍

10/08/2025: A charming, peaceful, and quiet place, away from the crowds of Tropea's main streets. The staff is friendly, kind, and helpful. The aperitivo della grotta is varied, featuring typical local products (in the future, I recommend two of each item served if you're a couple). The Tropea onion is the star and is excellent. The stuffed anchovies are spectacular, especially the cooking and the tomato sauce. The only flaw is the hard bones at the beginning and end of the anchovy, which I removed and would recommend removing regardless before serving, but that's a matter of personal preference. Overall, everything was excellent.

06/08/2025: For us, it was just a very short stay... The cleanliness, maintenance, and exterior were impeccable. The restaurant was excellent. Nothing to complain about the property or the services it offers in general. I would say a few things: 1) about the ball in the pool under the eyes of the boy sitting on the bench, for some unknown reason. 2) and also about the lack of a baggage handler upon arrival and departure, even if it were purely out of courtesy. In my opinion, however, and more importantly, the possibility of offering guests (especially those without their own car) a round-trip transfer to the center, even for an additional fee, with flexible and personalized schedules, should be considered. It's unthinkable to spend 80 euros on a vehicle, a taxi, just to take a stroll in the square in Pizzo!!! It should also be said that the little road, besides being impassable, is completely dark, so it would be advisable to install streetlights. I hope these suggestions will be useful and taken into consideration for better organization and even more qualified service.

15/08/2025: Professionalism combined with a welcoming atmosphere. I guarantee excellent products, cooked with method and passion. My partner had never been to Calabria—Trebisacce is my hometown—and he was very impressed with this restaurant, even more so with the bill (€78 for a salmon tartare, a mussels with pepper sauce, two fish-based first courses, two desserts, two glasses of Chardonnay, a bottle of water, two coffees, and a cover charge). We live in Lombardy, and a dinner of this magnitude here would certainly have cost at least €50-60 per person. I should add that the portions are generous and the service very friendly and light. Every time I return to Trebisacce, a stop at Alice is definitely a must.

11/08/2025: An exceptional restaurant in Trebisacce. If you're looking for a place with cuisine as captivating as the view, this is the place for you! The seafood is excellent (but of course, the restaurant also offers excellent meat dishes), which is evident in a splendid and truly exquisite antipasto (over 10 different dishes). I highly recommend this wonderful tasting menu, as it combines cold dishes (mixed seafood) with hot dishes (sautéed mussels), all incredibly fresh. The fried seafood is also excellent: light, tasty, and high-quality (the shrimp are fantastic). The selection of first and second courses is worthy of the finest seafood restaurants. The sorbet is also excellent, and the perfect way to end your dinner. Prompt, attentive, and professional table service. The simple, elegant atmosphere and the view over the town are the perfect backdrop for a dinner to remember. It's always a pleasure to return. The selection of appetizers is unsurpassed!

08/08/2025: Lots of delicious treats; I recommend trying everything listed under "sfizi" (delicacies), including a delicious slice of veal. The quality of the meat is excellent and it's cooked very well. A place that's not pretentious but has a lot to offer. Well done.

21/07/2025: Among the best Neapolitan-style pizzas I've ever eaten, this place is at its best in summer because the terrace view is stunning, but it's also perfect in winter if you're craving a good pizza in Oriolo.

14/07/2025: The food was excellent; there wasn't a thing I didn't like. The service was equally as good; the staff were there, attentive but not intrusive... always friendly. Kudos to the organization and timing of the dishes; everything was perfect. I highly recommend trying it to believe it. The flavors were delicious and the ingredients were of high quality. Kudos to the chef and all the staff.

14/07/2025: Clean and welcoming place, located in the open countryside where you can spend a peaceful evening. The waiters were very kind, polite and above all welcoming. The dinner was delicious, from the starter to the first and second courses. I tried the new menu, the dishes were beautiful, I recommend them, they are delicious, 10 out of 10.

19/07/2025: We returned to this place six years after our last visit, following a beautiful day spent at the beach in Soverato. We were craving something special, and we found it with the guys at Roots, who consistently deliver. We ate on the terrace overlooking the main street. We ordered two sandwiches, a true house specialty. One with grilled octopus tentacles, lamb's lettuce, chicken salsa, mayonnaise, caramelized onion, and purple potato chips. The other sandwich featured grilled prawns, burrata, lettuce, salsa americana, bacon, and grilled eggplant. An orange soda and a very special Dam Inedita beer—all for just €37, but the quality is top-notch. Recommended.
