02/02/2026: If you want to eat here is not the place for you, because when you come here you will experience more than just eating. It is an experience worth repeating, this place is worth your time. The tasting menu 130% of 100% adapts the drinks as if you had drunk them yourself, the flavors mix, and when you put together the combination of food and drinks it seems that an angel has landed on your tongue. Respect.

25/10/2025: We're regulars every Saturday, and the pinsa is better every time. The quality is very high at truly fair prices. All the staff are truly friendly, starting with Francesco, the owner, the very sweet Ivana, and Francesco's wonderful father, who plays a key role in our lives with his delicious cherry tomatoes picked from his garden!

20/11/2025: Located right in the heart of Tropea's bustling old town, the restaurant's terrace is surprisingly peaceful. The menu focuses on fish, and we enjoyed a delicious sea bream baked in a salt crust. Our starter included the region's famous "Cipolla Rossa di Tropea" onions, prepared in three different varieties. The service was attentive and courteous.

07/10/2025: I went with my wife and son in September for dinner in the ancient cave. The seafood appetizer smelled bad and tasted nothing like seafood. The octopus was transparent and smelled bad—you couldn't tell it was octopus carpaccio; it was literally transparent, like tissue paper. The rest was anything but anything that reminded you of the sea. Everything was frozen and poorly treated. Parmigiana was the sore point!! It wasn't parmigiana, but a mixture of boiled eggs drowned in tomato sauce. I don't think they even know what eggplant parmigiana is; there were only boiled eggs. I wouldn't go back even if they paid me; it was a TERRIBLE experience that's hard to undo. They have no idea what Italian or Calabrian cuisine is. What a shame! These people were improvised and had never worked in a kitchen!

24/10/2025: The meat was cooked to perfection! The flavor was excellent too! We had the Angus stew with porcini mushrooms, the Angus arrosticini, the hamburger, and the grilled meat... delicious... I would definitely go back!

02/11/2025: Beautiful and charming location in the heart of Tropea. But I really can't say enough about the deliciousness of the food I tasted. I didn't go for typical products, but for classic seafood and meat dishes. I don't recommend the seafood appetizers; they're really nothing special. The ravioli with shrimp and scallops were good. Otherwise, everything was normal, with excessive prices. The wait for the food was exaggerated, despite the good service and numerous staff. Worth a look.

30/10/2025: Found on a recommendation. The charming atmosphere begins right at the entrance, where you stand on a glass platform overlooking the old wine cellar. The tables are well spaced. Enjoy a relaxed atmosphere and conversation. Luckily, we reserved a table. Very attentive service. Delicious bread served in a paper bag. The €2 cover charge is reasonable. Good selection of typical Italian dishes. We enjoyed the food, and the meat was exceptionally tender.

01/02/2026: We've been here at least 10 times over the years. I'm sorry to say that the last three times we've been completely dissatisfied. The last time was yesterday evening. The food wasn't up to par, particularly in terms of quality and quantity, especially for the first course. Furthermore, the prices were no longer competitive—quite the opposite, in fact. The service needs improving, and it's not the first time. The place was clean, as always. I don't think I'll be returning anytime soon.

20/01/2026: I went alone on Saturday and paid 70 euros. The food was good, except for the mussels, which were of two different types, skillfully mixed. I even told the owners this. But I don't recommend it.
