27/05/2025: The food was okay, but the service was a bit overwhelmed at times. For example: We ordered an orata (sea bream), but "unfortunately, it's out, have a spigola, it's similar." Okay, we ordered a spigola, but a slice of pesce spada (grilled swordfish) arrived that we hadn't ordered. On our table were the white wine we ordered in the cooler and two filled glasses. A waiter appeared with a bottle of red wine and two glasses, expressed surprise that we supposedly hadn't ordered it, and left again (the wine was eagerly awaited at the neighboring table, 50 cm away). A similar thing happened again with spaghetti vongole, which was brought to us but meant for someone else ;-)))). Maybe next time we'll just eat and drink whatever they bring us 🙃 Always well-stocked, that might explain it.

28/12/2024: We eat fish very well. Fresh raw materials, cooked properly, decidedly generous portions and very honest prices. We took mussels, excellent and plentiful, various first courses, spaghetti with seafood, excellent, paccheri with monkfish, excellent, scialatielli with prawns, excellent. You eat well, you spend little anyway. Highly recommended.

12/11/2024: Three of us came to dine and received good service. The seafood dishes were very delicious and the portions were generous. We will definitely visit again next time we have a chance.

31/05/2025: Calypso restaurant in Belvedere Marittimo is a real experience! I was invited to dinner with my boss's family and the experience was incredible. The raw and fried fish appetizers were delicious and very fresh. The highlight was my “pasta con vongole”, which I asked for with the clams on the side. Even though it was a complicated request, the staff responded with excellence. The service was attentive and the atmosphere welcoming. I recommend it to everyone who visits Belvedere Marittimo.

29/05/2025: After spoiled restaurant visits on the East Coast, tonight was rather disappointing. At the beginning, we were rushed to order, and the order of dishes was not followed. After the bill was handed over, no one paid any attention to us. We left the amount and weren't even greeted as we left!

30/05/2025: Everything was fantastic! Absolutely among the best restaurants in Calabria. Chef Bruno was excellent and the service was perfect, very kind and super informed. We had two fish appetizers (shrimp cocktail and trio of raw fish), two first courses (spaghetti with anchovies & paccheri di mare) and a second course of seared tuna to share. Everything was delicious and of local origin! The local culinary excellence is prepared and served with Michelin-star professionalism and quality! Thank you so much for the welcome and the experience, we can't wait to come back!

30/05/2025: Good dinner. All dishes were delicious. We ordered grilled seafood, octopus salad, pizza, water and a small glass of beer. We were very full. The bill for two was 50 € Fast service. Menu in Italian/English

19/05/2025: Room for improvement – ​​with strong cuisine! 🍕 The food was truly excellent, especially the pizza – exceptionally delicious and of a high standard of taste! Unfortunately, the ambiance couldn't quite keep up: The decor seems a bit dated, and the atmosphere was very hectic, also due to the constant coming and going of people picking up food. The staff unfortunately seemed very unmotivated, which somewhat dampened the overall impression. With a little more effort and a quieter environment, this restaurant has real potential to improve significantly.

08/06/2025: We came with my wife and daughter to this wonderful hotel and I tell you the truth it surprised me positively I thought I was in another place in the world. Kind staff, friendly and super professional owners. Luxury rooms with latest generation comforts, maniacal cleanliness, international breakfast, what can I say, truly a paradise, I really recommend it to those who do not want to be disappointed.

03/06/2025: Very friendly host and all the staff. Very quiet location with a beautiful view in the middle of a farm inhabited by various animals. Great pool. Clean and newly renovated rooms. We were there in the off-season and there was no dinner. Breakfast was average. Very good pizzeria in Dipigniano.

23/04/2025: Food, abundance and hospitality make the experience rewarding like few others. Place surrounded by nature, ideal for families who love good food and where you can admire animals (cows, peacocks, ducks...). An experience to be repeated thanks also to attentive and helpful staff. We'll be back.
