04/10/2025: A homey, high-quality restaurant. I ordered the Cavatelli with Honeydew Melanzane and cheesecake for dessert. Everything was spectacular. I would definitely go back. The service was excellent. Thank you 😊

30/09/2025: Didn’t expect to find such a wonderful gourmet burger place. My wife thought it was going to be a fast food type place, boy were we wrong and we did “Enjoy our Burger”. As soon as we stepped in the door we were impressed by the interior of the building. Such a nice place to dine. Excellent selection of burgers on the menu with a special of the month. There was so much choice it took a long time to decide. The burgers were extremely tasty and filling. Excellent value for the money considering the good quality ingredients they used. The fries were thin but a wedge style, quite different but cooked well and crispy. They have specialty beers available.

22/09/2025: I went last night for the first time, and I have to say my experience was excellent: friendly staff, quaint place, and above all, excellent food quality. I had the chance to try the limited edition September sandwich—200g Angus, Scamorza, Spilinga nduja, and bacon—and I have to say it's a fantastic flavor explosion, and honestly, it could be a regular sandwich on the menu, perfect for those who love spicy food. Prices are reasonable, and I'll definitely be back in the future. Congratulations everyone! 👍

30/09/2025: I'm sharing my very positive experience! We were four of us at this restaurant on July 11, 2025. The welcome was typically touristy, but the restaurant actually offered impeccable service, good food, and excellent value. It's a shame about the portions, which were really small.

09/10/2025: On our way back from Sicily, curious to see the town of Scilla, we stopped for lunch at Pippo's; a welcoming place with a traditional, friendly, and helpful owner. We ordered a swordfish platter and "fileja," a typical Calabrian seafood fusilli. Excellent quality, generous portions, and we enjoyed it at a seafront table with a breathtaking view! Prices were absolutely in line, almost below average, with the quality of the food. We'll definitely be back...excellent!

18/11/2025: There's no other restaurant where you can eat divine seafood at reasonable prices besides Baroncino. I've been a customer for many years now, from the old, small location to the elegant establishment it is today. I've watched Giovanni and his restaurant grow, and I'm incredibly happy for him, especially because he deserves it. He knows how to cook the ingredients he has like few others. You can't beat that. The service is attentive and punctual. Ask for the first courses of the day, try the tasting menu, or go a la carte. The portions are just right, the flavors don't disappoint, and for those wary of fish, there are also meat dishes. The experience is worth it; you'll leave satisfied. In short, go for a sure thing.

21/09/2025: Everything was spectacular. I've never had such a good seafood first course. The fried calamari was also delicious, dry and crispy. Iced Prosecco and a table with a lovely, cool breeze—what more could you ask for? A very fair price. Lots of dishes on the menu, including German ones; the interior feels like a Swiss chalet. Recommended, and see you soon.

25/07/2025: Excellent traditional food with distinctive notes and flavors. Excellent service and very friendly, helpful, and knowledgeable staff. The setting is a fantastic blend of the tranquility of a mountain cabin and the fresh air and views of the countryside around San Donato di Ninea, whose historic center is just a short distance away. The family-run business adds a great value to the experience itself and helps you explore the local cuisine, which offers a wide variety and quality.

16/10/2025: 5 ⭐️ for the kitchen. But the waiter who takes the orders is not correct because. And the second time I've been here this month today I was there and he comes to take the order after 10 minutes someone comes with a woman near us and takes the order and pours them a bottle of wine. He often goes to this table and asks them if everything is ok and we ask them everything is the same. I say that I have been a place for many years, it's a shame that customers are treated here if they order a bottle of wine🤪

14/10/2025: A welcoming place, both with parking, the outdoor garden, and the indoor dining areas. The rooms have been renovated in a modern style with great attention to detail. The bathrooms are very spacious and clean. The outdoor and indoor plants, and the fresh flowers on every table truly make you feel like you're in heaven. Good food, attentive and fast service. Good value. The artisanal ice cream is delicious.

08/11/2025: A beautiful place located a few km from Corigliano Calabro at 900 meters above sea level. The manager Pasquale is a very helpful guy, excellent cuisine with quality local products, for those who want to spend a relaxing weekend or a week's holiday where there is a beautiful swimming pool, highly recommended.

09/10/2025: A rejuvenating experience! We had the pleasure of being treated by Tiziana and Raffaella, and I can only express my gratitude for their professionalism, kindness, and attentiveness. Tiziana is extremely competent and exudes calm and confidence from the very first moment. Raffaella's precision made every treatment a true moment of well-being. The environment is meticulously maintained, clean, and relaxing: you feel pampered and at ease. I will definitely be back! Highly recommended for anyone looking for a place to pamper themselves in expert hands.

19/10/2025: “Incipit” is almost a hidden gem, tucked away from the busy High Street and tourist-heavy areas. This spot comes highly recommended by locals — and for good reason. It has a gorgeous outdoor terrace with views over the piazza, but the real wow factor comes when you choose to dine indoors… in the cave! Yes, a beautifully lit, cosy cave with an incredible atmosphere that makes the whole experience feel special. The service was exceptional — friendly, attentive, and genuinely welcoming. The menu is fantastic, offering a perfect mix of local favourites and creative twists. We went all out and enjoyed the full experience: antipasto, primo, and secondo. The tuna tartare was outstanding, bursting with freshness and flavour. I had the Fileja al ’Nduja ragu, which was absolutely mind-blowing — and high on my Calabria culinary wish list. My partner chose the hazelnut risotto, which was equally exceptional. For mains, I had the pistachio-crusted seabass while my partner had the cod — both dishes beautifully presented and cooked to perfection. Highly recommended if you want an authentic, high-quality dining experience away from the tourist traps. Grazie mille per il fantastico servizio 🙏👌👏

30/10/2025: Back to childhood, places remained as they were then... excellent pizza, good calzone and excellent Peroni beer

24/10/2025: I got the famous calzones, but they were after 1:30 pm on Saturday, they were the last ones. Fresh out of the oven, they are fantastic.

30/09/2025: We had a great time. Well-prepared seafood/fish. Fresh, flavorful products. Delicious side dishes (shout-out to the caponata). Great wine list. Fair prices.

29/09/2025: Superb pasta, fish dishes, vegetables, and the best caponata in Calabria. Very friendly service, and dogs are welcome too 🙏🏽👏

05/10/2025: A renowned beach club in Villapiana. Even though it's the end of the season (only one row of umbrellas left and many of the facilities have been removed), I noticed the owners' friendly attitude and great courtesy. The beach club is a bit dated but welcoming. Everything about the beach and sea is fine. Worth a visit.
