It's located within an old production site that, since 1910, employed many workers cutting the precious beech wood needed to make railway sleepers and gunstocks. I went with very high expectations, but unfortunately the food didn't live up to them: the pasta was loose and a bit bland, the lamb was a bit tough, and the tart was of questionable quality. The staff was friendly.

16/04/2026: Sitting in the restaurant with a view to the fortress and onto the sea is very romantic. The interior is also very atmospheric, with candles placed behind big round glass bottles to create a very warm and welcoming entrance. The octopus starter as well as the three different fish main courses were divine, and it is definitely a place I would come back to for special occasions and beautiful memories!

Unfortunately, due to personal and family issues related to health reasons, I've never found the time to do so. Now, urged, I can no longer avoid doing so. I won't go into detail; although "al Bivio" in Davoli Marina certainly deserves it. Everything was excellent: from the professionalism, courtesy, and helpfulness of the manager, Sandrino Perri, and his staff; to the cleanliness of the premises, the table linens, the air conditioning, and, above all, the quality and deliciousness of the dishes served! Ample parking is available in the surrounding areas, and the price is reasonable for the quantity and, above all, the quality of the menu. My rating? 10+!

The tonnarello with scampi and asparagus deserves a special mention, rising to the level of true excellence of flavor: a dish in which freshness, balance, and expert culinary art blend harmoniously. A proposal that expresses authentic culinary culture, where the local tradition and the authenticity of the products blend perfectly with the aromas of the sea and its gastronomic treasures. The restaurant is clean, welcoming, and has a splendid sea view, perfect for enjoying a relaxing lunch or dinner. If you're in Amantea and want fresh seafood, this place is a must. Highly recommended: the braised octopus with pumpkin cream, "u pignatiallu," the arancino, and the red shrimp risotto... not to mention all the fresh daily specials!
