19/10/2025: We were here for lunch and were absolutely thrilled! The food was simply fantastic – fresh, flavorful, and typically Italian. The pasta, in particular, was a dream, and the portions were just right. The atmosphere is relaxed and pleasant, with a beautiful view and a typically southern Italian flair. The service was warm, attentive, and very friendly – ​​you immediately feel welcome. A real highlight of our day in Tropea – highly recommended!

18/10/2025: First time at La Tavernetta pizzeria and absolutely positive. The pizza is thin, large, and made with good ingredients. The dough is delicious. The smoked pizza is excellent, while the tuna and onion one is good, but the onion tasted really "fresh"—terrible! The staff was kind and always smiling. The cover charge was fair at €2.00. Recommended!

09/09/2025: It's the Harrows of taste. At Scarpelli's you can find everything... every day of the year. A very well-managed and organized business. For a few years now, it's also been a lounge bar and cocktail music bar. Interesting place.

30/08/2025: For me, it's a no. I went to this cafe and diner but was surprised by the lack of customer service, arrogance, and condescending attitude. Something I've never encountered in any other restaurant in Calabria, where hospitality is still a key value. A little more kindness wouldn't hurt.

01/10/2025: Spectacular!!!! Finally, in Corigliano, a place to eat wonderfully, overlooking the sea. A warm and welcoming location on the seafront with an outdoor veranda and an indoor dining room overlooking the kitchen. The fresh produce counter is a delight to the taste buds. The staff is friendly and attentive, always attentive to customer requests. Dishes. Delicious appetizers: porcini mushrooms and shrimp platter on a bed of truly fresh and authentic arugula. Swordfish sausage and tuna with fried porcini mushrooms was TOP. Octopus pizzaiola-style, cooked to perfection and incredibly tasty. The two fresh pasta first courses (and I watched them make it) were outstanding. Porcini mushroom and shrimp gnocchi were excellent. Macaroni with amberjack was out of this world. We ate divinely. Bill: fair, but low compared to the Tyrrhenian coast. Congratulations, keep up the good work!

11/08/2025: I was pleasantly surprised by this place! The staff is friendly, cheerful, and always available to recommend dishes and pairings. (Alessandro, in particular, was able to recommend an excellent beer to accompany my platter.) The food is simply delicious: fresh ingredients, generous portions, and a clear focus on quality. I especially appreciated the perfectly balanced flavors and presentation. Excellent value: here, you pay for quality, and every euro is well spent. I will definitely return and recommend it to anyone looking for an authentic and satisfying gastronomic experience!

31/08/2025: La Fiamma…and indeed, we were burned! I came to this restaurant with my family for a meat-based dinner, but we encountered several issues...we decided to start with the "La Fiamma" appetizer and the Black Angus rump. Nothing to complain about the rump, a good and appropriate portion, but the La Fiamma appetizer, in proportion to what was served, was expensive: €20 for a slice of various cured meats, a few pieces of cheese, two meatballs, and some vegetables. We might be criticized for splitting it, but the price was too high even for one person. We moved on to the burgers, "served with burger buns," as stated on the menu. Instead, we were served burgers on a plate, and when we asked for the bun (which was supposed to be included), we were told, in an annoyed tone, "We don't make sandwiches," only to discover they were sold out. I'm surprised that a grill restaurant that also makes burgers and lists buns on the menu as included isn't able to serve them. Furthermore, the burgers had an excessive grilled aftertaste, which prevented us from fully enjoying the ingredients. The €10 price tag for just a 150g (roughly) burger seasoned with oil and salt seemed excessive, considering that—despite being made from Chianina and Black Angus—the burger was served on a plate, without a bun or sides, which had to be ordered separately. In short, the meat was good, but the prices were excessive for the portions, and the burgers needed reconsidering. ANSWER: First of all, there were five of us, not six, and the bill was about €145. The two appetizers we ordered were therefore split between three (the children didn't eat any), so I'm not the one who's lying. In my review, I did, however, appreciate the Black Angus rump appetizer, which I was referring to when I said the meat was good, since I'm often accused of not having tried it. The burger is included on the menu as a regular item, and isn't advertised as an "alternative for children," as you're now claiming. It seems absurd to me that those who choose to eat a burger at a grill are almost considered second-class customers compared to those who order a sliced ​​steak or a meat dish. In fact, precisely because the restaurant specializes in meat, a customer can even choose to order a burger to get a higher quality one than those at any chain or sandwich shop, without having to justify themselves! Yet, when it came time to order, it seemed like they were trying to convince us not to order them.

24/08/2025: The "la fiamma" platter as an appetizer is recommended. The quality of the ingredients was excellent, offering a taste of typical Calabrian products, but the presentation could have been improved: a single slice on the peel isn't enough to create an appealing taste and visual impression. Unfortunately, the portion of ribs was minimal, especially considering the price. However, the staff was attentive and friendly, which was a strong point of my experience.

20/09/2025: I stumbled upon this renowned pizzeria by chance, and it was a great choice. The staff were friendly and helpful, the wait wasn't too long, and above all, the Neapolitan-style pizzas were perfect. Soft dough, a high, mouth-watering crust, high-quality, easy-to-digest ingredients, and prices that weren't exactly bargain-priced, but were still fair, especially considering the price. Definitely one of the top three pizzerias I've ever tried (and I'm a stickler for detail). I recommend it to anyone passionate about Neapolitan tradition. I'll definitely be back to try other flavors and styles. Kudos to the owners and everyone who works there with dedication and commitment.

14/08/2025: Light and easy-to-digest dough, fresh ingredients, and authentic flavors. Fast and friendly service, a welcoming place for a quick stop and excellent for takeout. One of the best pizzas I've ever had. This time I ordered pizzas to eat on the beach. The service was impeccable because they arrived promptly and still hot. I recommend!

27/07/2025: Locale situato sul lungomare. Gradevole la terrazza con copertura in legno ed efficiente il servizio (anche se con alcuni camerieri si comunica meglio in Spagnolo ed Inglese). Antipasto XXL con tante portate di pesce sia crudo che cotto. Eccellente la parmigiana di pesce ed i totani ripieni. Molto gustosi anche i ravioli di cernia. Giusto il rapporto qualità prezzo.
