11/03/2025: Si trova all, Atlantis una terrazza STUPENDA sul mare di longobardi,un posto unico. Tantissimi tavoli all'aperto ,posto bellissimo ,con molto passeggio musica gente Allegra e bella , ambiente per tutte le età, trasmette una splendida energia nonostante questo 2020 particolare.... Consiglio vivamente di venire e passare belle serate in gruppo in coppia ma anche soli.

24/02/2025: 'You eat better at a caritas!' One of the worst places I have ever eaten in Calabria, although eating well in Calabria is difficult, not due to the raw materials but due to the lack of knowledge of the often basic rules of cooking in many trattorias. Lamb ribs with the typical stench of game, this does not happen if the person preparing them knows the correct procedure for cooking this type of meat. Mix of mixed meat to shiver, chewy meat and little variety in the plating: half a sausage, a steak thrown in at random and a slice of raw chicken among other things, (chicken is highly dangerous if not cooked to the core), we ask the waiter to recook the meat, returning after 10 minutes with the same steak without even an apology, all this without a minimum of side dish, dish costing €11 but what about it was worth maybe €3. Very poor house starter, consisting of 1 slice of only 3 cured meats that didn't look fresh at all, a tiny bowl with olives, 1/10 of nduja, a ricotta and a pancake, €10 which was worth perhaps €3. House wine practically like drinking water, service as always characteristic of Reggio where no one considers you if you don't call them continuously, they take away your cutlery and leave you without it, that is, I've never seen such a scandalous place. Ah, they offer you bitters, and these dicks!

12/02/2025: The food was excellent....the location too....but the welcome was rubbish. A farmhouse, where one goes to relax in the midst of nature, with the family... and not with the piano bar with the speaker blaring behind the ears.... among other things, complaints have been made over and over again by elderly people turning a deaf ear.... the customer must be satisfied, not chased away.

02/04/2025: After having overcome the ingenious and coercive booking procedure for April 1st, here we are at Bob alchimia ectera at 7:37 and 22 seconds, all already seated and ready to hand over into the hands of expert professionals not only the responsibility of our experience but also of the interpretation of this experience, and therefore to begin the countdown of the approximately 50 hypnotic-performance minutes of our dinner. In the Italian popular-gastronomic imagination, pizza is not exactly a luxury dish and occasionally a break from the diet, but in Bob's digital menu you are catapulted into a paradise of caloric indulgence with the playful and retro nature of the 80s. So for both tactical and economic reasons you are hounded by the waitress ready to haggle exotic aperitifs, filtered, pale and unfiltered beers, slices and wedges, arriving at already offering dessert and we, like malnourished children from the third world, in the panic of a measured and judicious choice with two slices and two classic pizzas and many expectations and curiosities, find the time to observe and catalogue the various choreographed pirouettes of the waiters, and the not exactly impeccable service, and apart from the two single-portion hazelnut and mushroom dishes with a flavor difficult to describe so good, my margherita, in a confused sequence of false positives, wrong tables and starlings before finding the right path, arrives together with the death stare of my wife who in mode telepathically suggests to me "where the fuck did my pizza go?". Having solved the adventurous-brilliant task in about 15 minutes, we decide to skip the dessert to test the battalion of tireless guys in charge of production and their obsessive attention to detail, and so we ask for the intervention of yet another waiter, and he comes back to the charge, and a little annoyed by our request for an encore, he looks for answers in his wristwatch evidently mandatory for the time management courses imposed by the management. So, from the effort of "work" to get in to the effort of "fun" to have dinner, a coffee and the bill, we asked ourselves: "and now what do we do?"...well after having discussed all the possible alternatives and obviously glanced at the clock we hugged each other to be able to live with this goodbye.

27/03/2025: Peripezie per la prenotazione! Una volta entrati posto gradevole ansia per la fine della cena(che deve concludersi entro 60 minuti ) Pizarro jn caduta eccezionale pizza tradizionale nella media. Nel complesso 8 meno meno. Non è per chi è in cura per l'ansia o disturbi simili...

22/03/2025: A missed opportunity. I could start like this. And that's a shame. The environment is characteristic, but the pleasant sensations unfortunately stop here. It was NOT possible to taste anything, because after 40 minutes of waiting (checked with the clock and therefore given NOT questionable and NOT erroneous), two different calls to the waiter (who postponed the order request both times) NO ONE wanted to take note of our preferences for the dishes. Even admitting that the place was full, it is impossible to justify the customers' unwillingness to take orders. I want to underline that in many cities visited and many places tried I had NEVER had a similar situation happen to me. Two waiters seen on duty, only one of whom tried to offer willingness to bring some drinks, which were obviously refused, preferring to leave the table and above all the place (also because the hypothesis was to wait at least a further half hour/hour between order and dishes). I suggest a reorganization of table service, given that there aren't that many who agree to wait more than half an hour just to be the object of attention from the staff for the few seconds needed to place the order. I hope for the other customers that the experience is mine alone, and that it will not be repeated. I will definitely NEVER return to this place again.

08/03/2025: After years of research I can say that Papuga makes the best sandwiches in Catanzaro. Excellent quality products, everything has its own flavour. The place has its own identity and the guys who run it are very professional, kind and helpful. The only thing I would improve are the potatoes on the side of the sandwiches, I would prefer them to be more homemade, but it's personal taste. For the rest, well done guys. ❤️
