Excellent food, very friendly staff, beautiful location on the sea

Top of the top. Great service, beautiful location, and delicious food.

Not exactly kid-friendly. We definitely ate well, paying a fair price. I didn't think the cutlet was particularly good, and the swordfish was still a bit raw inside, whereas I'd asked for it cooked (but it was still good and of good quality). The first courses, on the other hand, were definitely delicious. Except that at the end of the meal, while the children were playing, not too excitedly, I think one of the co-owners came into the dining room and gruffly (but not rudely) scolded the children for being too excited, and also scolded the parents for not supervising them. He added, still gruffly, "You come to a restaurant to eat, not to play." I can understand his reasoning, but the children weren't rowdy, and an invitation to the (well-behaved) children and a polite warning to the parents would have sufficed, not a scolding of either children or parents. Moreover, there were only two tables left in the dining room, each of which contained the scolded children and parents. And unlike what was criticized, the children weren't abandoned; they were in the center of the room, clearly visible and supervised, and they weren't rowdy. All of this ruined the peaceful Mother's Day moment. Therefore, in light of what happened, perhaps the restaurant isn't suitable for all families with small children. Otherwise, however, I think the food here is good, the price is fair, the portions are adequate, and the location is beautiful, so it's recommended.

As my daughters would say, it wasn't just a lunch, but an experience: a blend of flavors and aromas, all set in a warm and welcoming atmosphere—especially since the day was particularly gloomy and the temperature wasn't exactly temperate. The owner was generous with his comments and reflections on the various courses, chatting pleasantly with us. Congratulations!

This is our 2nd visit for this new restaurant in town, the husband and wife team have an eye for detail, the presentation of the table, food, staff & of course the food is top draw. Don’t visit Pizzo without eating here!

A truly pleasant experience! I ate wonderfully: carefully crafted dishes, authentic and surprising flavors, and impeccable presentation. The location is beautiful, refined, and welcoming. A special thanks to the owner, who was knowledgeable, welcoming, and friendly. I can't recommend it highly enough.
