15/03/2026: Carefully following the owner's directions, given that the restaurant is located in a unique spot on Strada Statale 106, in the blazing August sun we arrived at what we might call a step back in time: an ancient olive mill that even centuries ago could and did provide refreshments to customers waiting to take home the oil from their own olives. The cool, air-conditioned space, divided into two spacious rooms, is steeped in the history of simple times gone by, yet still distinctive, like its cuisine, its sumptuous dishes, its house specialties, the varied home-cooked menu, the enormous fireplace, and the kind and attentive wait staff. We left the restaurant as if we had stepped out of a museum of Catanzaro cuisine, calm, full, and satisfied.

10/01/2026: Finally, an excellent pinsa with a light, crumbly dough and quality ingredients. A rich menu to satisfy every desire. I recommend trying the appetizer, which is not only beautiful to look at but also very tasty. The atmosphere is modern and relaxed.

20/09/2025: A bar with a stunning view, a very well-kept location. You can also rent umbrellas and loungers, otherwise it's a free beach. The lunch menu features fabulous fish sandwiches (check out the photos on Instagram for a treat), of which I recommend the swordfish + dried tomatoes or the octopus + stracciatella. The quality of the ingredients is fresh, and the combination of flavors is very delicate. They also offer tartare and fried fish. While I have absolutely no complaints about the quality-price ratio of the food (although perhaps the only high one is the tuna tartare), I think the service charge and lounger/umbrella rental fee should be reviewed (at the nearby beach clubs, which are exclusively equipped, the cost is 10 euros). But this is truly a minor flaw in a genuine setting, with helpful and welcoming staff, on a stretch of coastline that rivals the Caribbean Sea!

18/09/2025: Lido Oltremare is a true gem by the sea! 🌊 The food is simply incredible: from the freshest fish sandwiches to the flavorful friselle, to the truly surprising pinza. Each dish exudes the care and attention paid to the selection of ingredients, all of which are of excellent quality. The staff is always courteous and helpful, making you feel immediately at ease. The prices are also truly fair, especially considering the quality and freshness of the products offered. A place that combines good food, hospitality, and a relaxing atmosphere: highly recommended!

25/11/2025: Beautiful location, but the service leaves something to be desired. Bottles of water were delivered to the table without asking if we wanted still or sparkling wine. The wine we ordered was then asked if it would be brought after the appetizers arrived, since we had already started a while ago. The little girl's fries, which we ordered, never arrived, and then found them on the bill. Well, what can I say? Maybe they weren't expecting all those customers in November, but I personally booked before going there. Otherwise, everything was good quality.

15/03/2026: For a while now, because I've been frequenting "al bivio" for a while, I've wanted to review the restaurant. Unfortunately, due to personal and family issues related to health reasons, I've never found the time to do so. Now, urged, I can no longer avoid doing so. I won't go into detail; although "al Bivio" in Davoli Marina certainly deserves it. Everything was excellent: from the professionalism, courtesy, and helpfulness of the manager, Sandrino Perri, and his staff; to the cleanliness of the premises, the table linens, the air conditioning, and, above all, the quality and deliciousness of the dishes served! Ample parking is available in the surrounding areas, and the price is reasonable for the quantity and, above all, the quality of the menu. My rating? 10+!

20/10/2025: We came for lunch, and I must say the girl who served us was very kind and friendly, as well as giving great advice. You absolutely have to try the first course: spaghetti with clams and pesto! Truly delicious!! 😍 Or the authentic Roman carbonara! ❤️

31/12/2025: Very nice fish oriented restaurant. The food was good, the portions were ok in size. Their "paccheri al bergamotto con pesto de pistachio" were the real highlight which deserves the additional praise. Service was friendly and warm. We liked a lot the decoration of the place. We recommend the reservation as the place looked like very popular among the locals.

31/12/2025: A wonderful experience, one you'll fondly remember. The staff is truly kind and welcoming, making you feel immediately at ease. I chose the mixed seafood appetizer (salmon, tuna, shrimp, scampi, oysters, and sea urchin): top-quality ingredients, with the shrimp simply sumptuous. It's a shame about the sea urchin, however; it was a bit too salty and therefore less enjoyable than the rest. The paccheri with bergamot really deserve a special mention, a refined and well-executed dish. The only real disappointment is the portions, which are unfortunately rather small and leave a slight disappointment. The food prices are overall fair and offer a good quality/price ratio; the only disappointment is the €5 limoncello, which is decidedly excessive for what's on offer. Overall, a high-quality restaurant, with a few small flaws that, if addressed, would make it truly impeccable.

06/01/2026: This venue in the center of Cosenza is a great place for dinner or just a delicious aperitif. If you're lucky, you can even dance. Highly recommended.
