28/06/2025: I went for a quick pizza al piatto (I was in the area and didn't know where to go) and I was amazed in an absolutely positive way: very kind and professional staff, excellent pizza, zero waiting times, super convenient price and very welcoming environment! I highly recommend Pizzeria Bar Mazzarino.

14/05/2025: Small but very efficient pizzeria, very good pizzas, where as a boy I went to enjoy freshly baked pizzas.

18/09/2025: September 15th: Marino, the only beach club open in Scanzano. Almost everything was amazing. The restaurant, the kitchen closed, and it was expensive for packaged food. I paid €20 for an umbrella and two sun loungers in the third row. The prices displayed were €15. I asked for an explanation, and even when faced with the obvious, the manager didn't back down. This is no way to treat customers, and it's not good publicity for Campania.

17/09/2025: Very well-maintained, high-priced beach bar. Sun loungers are very comfortable and cleaned before use. Very friendly, attentive staff. We were there in the off-season, and it was very quiet and stunningly beautiful.

26/08/2025: The restaurant is centrally located on the Montesilvano seafront. The pizza and other dishes are excellent. Prices are moderate, but not cheap. Recommended.

06/09/2025: The restaurant is located on the seafront, has a pleasant setting, and the entrance to the restaurant is very welcoming, with very helpful and friendly staff. I dined in the outdoor area. I have a few small comments about this area, not as a criticism, but as a suggestion to the restaurant itself to improve the aesthetics and make the space a little more pleasant and welcoming (e.g., moving the "storage" for drinks crates, etc., to a less visible area). Otherwise, it was a very pleasant evening, good food, and a fair price.

Cleanliness and nice environment. But then when the chef comes out to ask if everything is okay after having eaten very well, you can't help but go back. Highly recommended

06/08/2025: We were treated very well at this restaurant. The food was good, especially the pecorino alla callara, the classic mugnaia, and the arrosticini. Very friendly staff and quick service. The coffee was also very good.

20/08/2025: An experience to forget, two hours of waiting and then receiving industrial arrosticini at the table that we didn't eat. When asked what are these? Their response was, we finished ours. Ok, but at least out of fairness towards the customer, say so, instead we, as honest people, paid and left the colale. For my part, I would have called the police and maybe even the health office, but then I would have had to argue with the person who introduced us to the place.

The two young men who run it bring the best of Abruzzo's culinary tradition to the table, revisited with care and a wealth of passion. We had a wonderful time and wish this enterprising couple all the success they deserve.

24/08/2025: We arrived on the waterfront for dinner without a reservation, and despite it being packed, this was the only place that welcomed us kindly and still found us a table. We greatly appreciated this gesture, especially since it had started raining in the meantime: it truly saved our evening. The arrosticini were excellent, well-cooked and flavorful, prepared with quality meat. The first courses were also very good, tasty, and carefully prepared. The place is welcoming, the service is friendly, and the quality/price ratio is excellent. Highly recommended both for arrosticini and for a pleasant dinner on the waterfront.
