10/03/2025: Totally negative. After years we returned with great expectations to this restaurant where we ate excellent cod at a fair price. Terrible service and quantity significantly reduced compared to the past. Plus the price has gone up too much. Honestly, 45 euros is absolutely not worth it. Strongly not recommended

03/02/2025: The best of the best obviously you only come here for the cod but it is cooked impeccably by the owner, cold and hot appetizers... cod in sauce with olives all fantastic! Friendly and always helpful staff. You need to book well in advance to find a place

05/10/2024: We had the opportunity to celebrate my daughter's eighteenth birthday here at the Stella D'oro beach. We had a great time. Friendly and welcoming staff, quiet environment. The owners are very kind and super helpful. We were very happy. We will definitely return here when we have the chance.

12/09/2024: 8 sett. 2024...dopo 17 anni di fidanzamento e convivenza saldiamo l'unione. Abbiamo scelto come location il lido STELLA D'ORO Pescara sud, serata oltre le aspettative, in perfetta sintonia...sposi, invitati e staff. La Direzione di una professionalità impeccabile, i loro volti sorridenti sono stati la ciliegina sulla torta. L’atmosfera che si è creata era accompagnata da un perfetto MOOD condiviso da tutti, invitati e non, i quali grazie alla musica coinvolgente del fantastico DJ che ha iniziato una marcia nuziale di Wagner interrotta subito da un rock sfrenato, si sono inseriti come spettatori durante la cerimonia e gli innumerevoli balli, da villeggianti sono diventati parte integrante della nostra festa. Crudi, freddi e caldi…primo piatto, arrosto misto e frittura a centro tavola…tutto pesce, accompagnato da un Trebbiano e Cerasuolo della cantina Wilma di Chieti scalo…che il viaggio abbia inizio!! Se il vostro intento è quello di divertirvi e godervi una festa a pieno regime…che sia un battesimo, una comunione, cresima, diciottesimo matrimonio o compleanni vari, non vi pentirete di aver scelto LA STELLA D’ORO. Torneremo! E non è una minaccia… :)

23/02/2025: On Sunday for lunch we went to this restaurant located in the historic center of Villa Celiera... presenting itself beyond expectations for a trattoria. We ordered a hot and cold starter to split between two…. Right quantity and excellent quality. Followed by a portion of spectacular pasta alla molinara and a portion of ravioli with sauce which was unfortunately disappointing as they were decidedly overcooked and the ricotta didn't have a great flavour. To conclude, a portion of lamb with salad... very good but another piece of meat would not have disappointed expectations regarding quantity. Leaving aside the food which was more than good with the exception of the ravioli, we were speechless when we didn't find the kebabs on the menu... it's not possible that they are missing in the homeland of kebabs. As for the bill, we spent €60 for what is written in the review, without wine. To the question “will you come back?” I reply “no, reluctantly”.

13/03/2025: Exceptional appetizers. The first ones are good. Cut tender and well seasoned. Required cooking level is respected. 4 stars only because medium-high prices (especially the wine list is a little expensive, the prices could be lowered slightly in my opinion). Recommended restaurant.

07/04/2025: Nuova gestione di questo storico locale del centro di Pescara, ora nelle mani dei Signori Adriana ed Aliosha. Struttura storica che riesce ben ad accogliere gli ospiti. Proposta culinaria fatta di piatti freschi e genuini, con verdure assolutamente a km 0. Possibilità di scegliere carne e pesce e proposte per tutte le tasche. Merita assolutamente una visita. Consigliatissimo.

20/03/2025: We have just returned home after having lunch at the Locanda. There were 5 of us and we were all happy. Very good value for money, we spent €27 per person for a total of €135, without wine because I had to drive to Umbria. The first ones are plentiful. All the dishes we ordered were well presented. The staff is friendly and empathetic, yet professional. We immediately felt at ease. The table next to us ordered a Monkfish and the owner immediately went out of his way to bring customers the fish he would have cooked, showing them and specifying what they would eat. Proper customer care. We all took different dishes and I must say that they did an excellent job making the dishes available in such a way that no diner was left without food. We involuntarily did a stress test on the kitchen 😅. I had the sautéed mussels and clams (appetizer) and fried calamari with battered vegetables. My wife had meatballs with bread, egg and cheese and an omelette. The other two: first courses, sausages, roasted potatoes, salad, fish skewers and parmigiana. Exactly, all different 😁. Each course had just the right amount of food. The first courses were plentiful while the other courses were of the right quantity. Very good taste. What can we add other than a thank you and see you next time, considering that we have to return to Pescara. Recommended, especially if you want to take a nice walk between the square and the sea.

16/02/2025: Good ice cream, but you get lost in a glass of water. Not having waffle cones limits you a lot. Then when you have it you charge €0.30 more. Another flaw is that you make cones with a maximum of 3 flavours. I hope something will change this year. A good ice cream needs all its details

17/03/2025: Sunday lunch. Place still decorated for Women's Day.... very floral but in a very very very tacky style and let's say too Abundant. Not recommended for claustophobics!!. Let's get to lunch... and the votes. Starters - seafood salad. 5 stars First course - Spaghetti vongole. 4 stars Fried calamari - 3 stars. Ridiculous portion Fried Paranza - 0 stars.. the fish smelled... left almost entirely on the plate and sent back (apart from the calamari) and despite the situation having been reported... the response from the kitchen was... it arrived yesterday! So what?? What is the answer? 3 star service... we had to ask for cutlery to eat... between one course and another... anyway in short... 5 seafood salads... 4 spaghetti... 2 fried foods... 3 water... almost 170 euros! Portions of dishes at the union minimum... I would have given even fewer stars given that I went with two guests who came from outside... and I wanted to make a good impression. Patience.
