30/07/2024: Legendary roasts!!! The friendly and pleasant service is a little slow at peak times, but speeds up if you arrive after hours. If you eat outside the view is very beautiful, especially at sunset.

15/08/2024: Excellent tavern, little choice but really quality tavern, the best kebabs I've tried so far in Abruzzo, good service, helpful and efficient waitress. Don't miss the focaccia with different flavors (caprese, raw ham, grilled vegetables...) served already cut and piping hot; very tender and tasty sheep's roasts; liver roasts; potatoes made by them (maybe just a little salty but really good); tiramisu. I will be back again.

31/08/2024: Hotel located in an excellent position, a few km from Pescara, clean, equipped with comforts, en-suite bathroom, abundant quality breakfast, beautiful swimming pool, lovely well-kept garden and adjacent park, quiet place. The managers and staff are kind, helpful, discreet and very friendly people. Definitely coming back

25/08/2024: Good dishes, average service, sometimes rushed. Poor choice of wines by the glass. In summer, outdoor tables, but if it's 30 degrees it's not pleasant to dine outside. However recommended.

02/04/2024: Small format without service and table linen. The fried foods were not bad, while the kebabs, perhaps because they were not cooked properly, did not reach the desired expectations. Maybe next time I'll try a sandwich. Value for money a little expensive.

15/02/2024: In one word: PERFECT! We actually only looked for the GLU GLU snack restaurant due to a lack of alternatives including time pressure and were more than positively surprised! The dishes were lovingly and tastefully prepared, as were the staff, who really impressed. You felt absolutely welcome and comfortable the entire time, thank you very much!

15/08/2024: Nothing to complain about. There were 10 of us for dinner and we had cheese and egg balls, two focaccias and the famous kebabs. Everything really excellent. The place is small, but welcoming.

21/08/2024: We decided to try this restaurant out of curiosity, Yari welcomed us with kindness and professionalism, he accompanied us during the evening making us feel welcomed. We tried the pizzas, all perfectly cooked and stuffed, the location is perfect for a summer evening with the large garden and games to entertain the little ones, in fact our children were able to enjoy the evening too. We will definitely return to Poesia next time we travel to Pescara. Highly recommended!

12/08/2024: We celebrated our wedding at Casa del Gelso and we were literally delighted! The location is not only an absolute dream, but also the staff, especially Chiara, are incredibly professional and caring! Chiara is always available for any questions, offering great relief from the stress of the wedding! Thank you very much, Chiara! All our guests were impressed by the attention and professionalism of the waiters! The food was also delicious, with wonderful alternatives available for intolerances or vegetarian options! Bottom line: If you're not sure where to have your wedding, look no further!!!

05/07/2024: Place recommended by acquaintances, we really enjoyed ourselves, the food was really good, hot starters, first courses and exceptional meat, both mixed roast and sliced. And super friendly staff. We will definitely return with friends too.

13/08/2024: My friend and I had to stand for 30 minutes for a table to be freed, many of which had been empty but very dirty for some time. As soon as we sat down we were given the menu but by the time we were asked what we had chosen at least 25 minutes had passed , after ordering everything, it took 1 hour for a portion of chips with bacon and cheddar to arrive, horrendous cheddar chips, real rubbish and the sandwich was truly disgusting. This place needs a lot of organization and for 10 tables I can't wait 2 hours.

04/08/2024: Really good chips, especially the American ones with cheddar and crispy bacon on top, which are accompanied by 5 different sauces. Truly huge and excellent sandwiches. The bread is soft and tasty. I recommend getting the cheddar bowl with the sandwiches. Really honest prices. We will definitely be back.

06/08/2024: Excellent, clean place, welcoming staff, genuine food and superb cuisine, in 4 people we had 4 meunière dishes in Flemish style so abundant that we filled 5 plates and still had leftovers for an encore, then 20 kebabs just to taste and they were excellent, original size, not large (as they must be for optimal cooking) very tender and tasty, a bottle of coke and a bottle of water, two coffees on the house. As soon as we sat down they offered us a delicious savory fried batter, we spent €16 each. I highly recommend August 11, 2022 Returned on 5 August 2024, table of 31 people, wine and drinks galore, usual fried batter but with peppers and excellent, very particular potatoes as an appetizer offered by the house, very good and truly plentiful miller (served in large Flemish dishes, I ate 2 dishes) kebabs always very good a few plates of french fries for the kids (as expected so abundant that in the end there were some for everyone not just the kids) coffee and bitters, we spent €25 per person. I confirm the previous good review!
