18/06/2025: Exquisite meal, excellent service, and classy ambience. We had the shorter tasting menu, and everything was perfect -- not a weak link in the chain. The couple who own and manage the restaurant are charming. To top it off, the restaurant plays warm and elegant classical and jazz music -- none of the dreadful Lofi or club music that ruins the ambience of so many otherwise nice restaurants. Will definitely return.

06/07/2025: I already knew the pizzeria Il Poeta. As other times the pizza was very good as well as the arrosticini. The only flaw is the fact that the place is small and therefore the quantity and quality of the chatter is entrusted to the good manners of the people, and it is not always present. But oh well for the food and the friendliness of the waitress you can bear it. We will return again, I like the dedication to D'Annunzio and the placemats with the poem "the shepherds" that recalls the transhumance from the mountains towards the sea.

31/05/2025: PIADINAS OF AN UNBEATABLE LEVEL. Consumed on the spot, they are unrivaled; on busy days it is worth waiting a few minutes more to have the meat cooked on the spot (pay attention when they prepare a piadina with sausage or hamburger in a few minutes... it means they are pre-cooked and reheated!)

18/05/2025: AWESOME! La Siesta has become a regular stop when I go to Pescara...and it NEVER disappoints me. The only problem with this place is that the piada is so good that I have to fight with myself to not order another. The staff is very quick in their service and very kind...the place, in addition to being very welcoming, is also very clean! The kitchen is open and there is never anything out of place.

18/07/2025: €3 cover charge for a dive bar that serves your food on recycled paper, if you're lucky, and otherwise with cutlery directly on the table. I think you can go bankrupt, shame on you!

07/08/2025: It is a local restaurant. Very good service and large portion of the food. Highly recommended! However, pay attention to make a reservation advance. Even though we had a reservation, they made us sit in a bad place. Ask for a better option!

17/07/2025: Truly a TOP place! Quality food, delicious service, and a modern, clean space. The wood-fired oven and arrosticini grill are all visible, and yet there's no smell in the place! Is this the place locals send you to when they ask, "Where can I go for good arrosticini?" And it really is! We returned two weekends in a row, and I can say we'll definitely be back! (from Rome)

01/08/2025: Absolutely one of my favorite places to eat in Pescara. The food is truly exquisite and high-quality, and the prices are excellent. Each dish is meticulously prepared, and you can tell from the presentation. Once you've eaten, there's no doubt about it. Not to mention the fantastic desserts, freshly prepared. I also really appreciate the diverse menu choices, as well as the option of several set menus. The atmosphere is very charming and welcoming. I highly recommend it.

28/07/2025: The place is easy to get to. I ate simple dishes, all well-prepared and served with kindness and courtesy. I think that if you prepare simple dishes with care, you're just as likely to achieve excellent results with more sophisticated choices. The moka pot coffee was a welcome treat, and the ciambellone cake was a lovely accompaniment. Excellent value for money, definitely worth trying again. Carlo De Santis

24/07/2025: I visited this restaurant yesterday for lunch, a restaurant I've known for some time. I was even more impressed by the current change in management. The owners are extremely courteous and kind, especially the lady, who is wonderful in every way. The dishes are tasty and meticulously crafted, especially the freshest fish, cooked to perfection. I'll definitely be back to try the desserts that the owner makes herself.... 110 out of 10!

27/07/2025: Had lunch three times for two. The place isn't too big, but it's well-maintained. The staff is kind and attentive...excellent quality and more than fair prices. I recommend the menu! The rest is also excellent, the fritto misto is superb!...and the tiramisu!
