A great experience. I celebrated my birthday with my family. The food was excellent. The tagliolini with clams was simply excellent. Everything was taken care of down to the last detail. My only complaint, though, is not a complaint, but rather an extra treat.
Having different types of bread, perhaps even warm ones, was a great treat. I repeat, an extra treat because everything was perfect. The raw fish and the fried fish. I'll definitely be back.

The cuisine was thoughtful, balanced, and featured anything but banal combinations. Each dish had a distinct identity, with discernible flavor and research.
The service was attentive, attentive, and friendly, but never intrusive. We felt welcomed and cared for with great professionalism throughout the dinner.
The seaside location adds to the rest.

The best, food, service, superior quality. It's one of those restaurants where you never get bored returning. Always fantastic service, excellent value. I recommend everyone to have lunch or even dinner there!

From the moment you enter, you sense a top-notch restaurant, thanks to its service, ambiance, and quality of food.
The host, William, is very welcoming and knows how to offer the best advice. We sampled everything from raw seafood to first courses and main courses. All the dishes are expertly prepared by the chef, who even came out of the kitchen to explain some of his creations.
In conclusion, this place is definitely worth more than one visit; in fact, it could be a go-to place for excellent seafood in Pescara.

A truly positive experience at Il Pirata on the Pescara waterfront. The first courses were the highlight: the spaghetti with saffron, mussels, and pecorino cheese were a perfect balance of flavors, and the gnocchi with creamed artichokes and cuttlefish were delicate and flavorful. The tuna was also excellent, accompanied by an original grilled salad with hazelnuts. The staff was friendly and very welcoming. Highly recommended!

Unfortunately, we were disappointed with the spaghetti with clams because they were made with spaghetti alla chitarra (as stated on the menu) and with cherry tomatoes and parsley sauce (?). We would have preferred the classic and delicious spaghetti with clams, with just oil, chili pepper, and parsley, where the clams and their saltiness take center stage. We left still craving spaghetti with clams, haha. Otherwise, nothing to complain about. The fried calamari cut into "petals" was very good. The other dishes' entrees also looked very good. The location was beautiful and the service was good. Prices were average.

A pleasant surprise in Pescara: a well-maintained seafood restaurant, unexpectedly located inside a beach resort. The mixed antipasti were excellent, offering a nice variety of classic dishes. The first courses were carefully prepared, and the flavors were well-balanced. The lemon tartlet was good, but I would have preferred a stronger lemon flavor. The prices are fair for the service and quality. We'll definitely be back to try the dry-aged fish and raw seafood.
