What an amazing find, One of the best experiences we had!!! If you are in the area, or even if you not, its worth driving an hour, in our case 44min from our house for this delicious food. We are coming back!!!

A typical trattoria in the upper Abruzzo region, characterized by the customary hospitality and simplicity of its people. Cuisine made with excellent ingredients, expertly prepared by Lucia, who still oversees the creation of the dishes. We feel at home, in the back bar setting, and we are treated like family! The traditional Abruzzo first courses are handmade...the gnocchi are "turned" one by one... The roast meat, especially the grilled lamb, is an absolute must for its quality and flavor. Reference.

Excellent trattoria at the foot of the Maiella. Excellent and generous first courses with a homemade flavor. The meat-based second courses feature lamb and local veal, along with excellent side dishes. Reservations are recommended.

17/07/2026: Nice place and kind and friendly waitresses.....delicious pizza!!!
18/06/2026: It's located almost in the center of Orsogna in a pleasant but anonymous setting. It's not a real restaurant, but a pizzeria, frequented by a young crowd, and offers a few dishes other than pizza on the menu. We didn't try the pizzas, but we did try the mixed antipasto platter for two, a decent parmigiana, and arrosticini. We wanted to try the roast chicken, which seems to be the house specialty, but we were told it's rarely available. The prices are high for the quality/price ratio.

21/06/2026: A fantastic day. A birthday party organized at this restaurant was a success. The food was delicious, the service excellent, friendly and punctual, and we were pampered with desserts and loved at the end. Excellent, recommended.
