20/01/2025: Friendly staff, but the setting of the tables outside leaves a little to be desired. As I was entering there were two tables with kids that practically obstructed the passage, I had to pass with difficulty between two chairs (rudeness on the part of the kids who didn't make the slightest sign to move, pretending nothing had happened). The food and everything is good, but I would recommend managing the outdoor space a little better.

28/02/2025: Specifically, I have traveled through Italy during the years of my travels from Trieste to Porto Cesareo. I love Italy and go back several times a year. Over the many years of traveling, I have stayed in an incredible number of hotels, guest houses and various B & Bs. Since I myself work at a hotel and have been in the tourism industry for more than 20 years, I have always rated all my accommodations on Booking as a full 10, because they deserved it. I'll make one exception here and if I can't review on booking, I'll review here. I would like to point out in advance that the rating does not refer to the hotel's services or the quality of the accommodation, but is an assessment exclusively of the management. At the beginning of January 2025, I made a reservation on Booking for June 2025. Today I received a request from the hotel to cancel the reservation myself, because they are planning to renovate the hotel. I consider this action to be absolutely unprofessional, because the reconstruction is not planned from one day to the next, but is planned in advance (at least for the off-season and not for the summer). And when it was already known that there would be a period of reconstruction, they should have closed the online sales capacity of the rooms so that no one could make a reservation. Alternatively, plan the reconstruction from a certain period when there is no reservation and then the online sales capacity of the rooms is closed - this is the usual procedure. According to booking, this is the only hotel right in the city center of Civitella del Tronto, so I canceled the reservation because I wouldn't be able to stay there anyway, due to the closure. In a situation where you have everything planned, bought plane tickets, tickets for all trains throughout Italy (high-speed trains to Basilicata, back through Abruzzo and the final to Venezia), booked hotels in all cities, this hotel wants to cancel your reservation and it will completely ruin your travel plans, because apparently there is no other hotel in the city center of Civitella del Tronto. If the sales capacity on booking was closed, I would have made my vacation plans differently, so I have already lost a certain amount of money (at least for the trains) and now I am looking for an alternative solution. I hope that Mr. Zunica is aware that my cancellation of the reservation was due to my good will, I did not have to cancel the reservation and he would have to find accommodation in the same or higher category of the hotel in the given location, exactly according to the booking conditions. I do not recommend this hotel, the management's unprofessional approach will cause you a lot of extra worries instead of a pleasant stay.

14/01/2025: The room called the “grottino” is intimate and welcoming but you pay for the fact that there is no air conditioning. The staff should pay more attention when asking about the degree of doneness of the meat.

01/01/2025: Siamo stati in questo hotel in gruppo di 50 persone, per il capodanno, ottimo ambiente camere pulite con cambio biancheria quotidiano, un discorso a parte il ristorante dove abbiamo effettuato la cena, favolosa , con le cameriere gentilissime, in particolar modo Hatixhe , ragazza albanese con un sorriso accattivante, consigliato, ottimo 10 e lode.

16/11/2024: My opinion concerns the Pizza...which deserves a full 5 stars, I ate the Pugliese burrata with parmesan and raw ham...truly excellent and the other pizza pistachio, mortadella, stracciata and parmesan...Very good, the staff he was very kind.

10/04/2025: Prices increased again, hand-cut kebabs removed from the menu, and from today news: they can only be ordered in multiples of 5! In short, it gets worse every time I go back, I would say that this will be the last, otherwise I risk being able to order only on the full moon nights of leap years, on Friday the 13th. Edit: in the photo, €39 worth of food... NOT EVEN ANY MORE BREAD, my god. When cold I confirm that the quality has significantly worsened, so for me it's goodbye.

06/03/2025: De passage à Ortona, nous avons découvert avec plaisir ce restaurant au décor typique. L accueil et le service agréable et la cuisine délicieuse. Découvert un dessert, une vraie tuerie qui mérite de détrôner le tiramisù.

02/12/2024: Prenotato da Fabrizio, siamo arrivati in perfetto orario subito dopo la scelta del tavolo siamo stati serviti dal beverage. Alla comanda ravioli di ricotta e spinaci oltre a sua maestà la Carbonara. Eccellente di una eccezionalità unica Carbonara fatta con tutti i crismi! Mi sono sentito Romano! Come secondi due tagliate accompagnate con broccoli ripassati e verdura già condita. Il tutto con il vessillo due ottimi dolci. Rapporto qualità Prezzo nella media. Ciao Diego

18/02/2025: Posto trovato su internet, per le ottime recensioni e le ha confermate tutte. Locale molto carino, con la giusta atmosfera e cibo eccezionale. I complimenti vanno sia all'impiattamento, sia alla qualità (piatti buonissimi!!!) e soprattutto anche alla grande affabilità delle cameriere e del padrone di casa. Ci tengo a sottolineare che ha avuto particolare cura alle intolleranze della persona che mangiava con me e questo non è per niente scontato. Inoltre ad ogni richiesta in merito ai piatti ci ha sempre risposto con competenza e squisita cortesia. Consigliatissimo!!

08/02/2025: Le pietanze di Mirko ,fra tradizione e tocchi gourmande. Generose le porzioni , freschissimi gli ingredienti, molto appetitose le preparazioni . Dal fritto al dolce un susseguirsi di bontà presentate con sollecitudine e simpatia dal personale di sala. Consigliatissimo.
