27/08/2025: We went to karaoke this evening. The evening was scheduled for 9:30 PM, so we were at our table right on time with our drinks. The guy for the evening showed up at 10:30 PM, greeted his friends, and didn't even look at us, even though we had a table right next to his booth. He started handing out microphones to "his people" without any order, making them sing, and continued to ignore us. He even made people outside the club sing who weren't even drinking, just because they knew them. The audio was terrible; only his microphone could be heard clearly. Of course, after an hour, we paid the €16 for the two drinks, and bye-bye, never again.

07/08/2025: Good lunch, fresh fish. Excellent paccheri with asparagus and shrimp. The service and value were also good.

16/07/2025: Very friendly and welcoming service – both the waitress and the owner. The concept of this place is very interesting. A casual, very friendly atmosphere. You come for the antipasti (served on a tiered platter, canapés – I don't remember exactly, 6-8 per person, olives, cheeses – 2 per person, cold cuts, some fruit) – for 12 euros per person. You'll be full. You also order wine or cocktails. The drinks are delicious and large. They cost around 7 euros. The waitress was incredibly patient with us while she searched for the perfect drinks for us. The only thing I would change is the music. Those strange arrangements of well-known songs, all set to one melody, are unbearable. Unfortunately, those are often found in such places, in hotel restaurants, etc. The choice of music is probably a copyright issue.

15/07/2025: A charming and refined place, with a retro atmosphere that I really appreciate. The aperitif was delicious, and the wine selection was excellent. Highly recommended.

02/10/2025: We had the €40 Gioia menu... generous, delicious dishes, and many courses... Congratulations... keep it up... We returned today, after about 2 years... what can I say? We did very well 😊 SUPER SATISFIED... what a wonderful meal of fresh, well-cooked fish😋... I don't understand the negative reviews... I highly recommend it... we'll be back very soon 👏🏻👏🏻👍🏻

02/10/2025: Very nice place; we went for lunch on a weekday. Unfortunately, the service was very slow because, from what we saw, the woman was alone. She was super nice, but we waited over an hour for a plate of overcooked pasta. The platter was a bit sparse; there were more pickles than cured meats and cheeses. I honestly can't recommend it highly enough. It's a shame because the place is very good.

22/09/2025: What can I say...a magical, historic, and stunning place. We've been there several times, even with friends. I booked lunch here after reading some ridiculous, less-than-favorable reviews, which made me laugh, especially the owner's responses. I think you have to try it for yourself, and in fact, we had a wonderful time and enjoyed the food just as much. The staff was fun and fast, and the dishes were unique and very good. I always recommend Taberna when I hear from friends who go to Calascio. Congratulations!

11/10/2025: Raniero, who runs this charming agriturismo with his wife and daughters, welcomes guests with warmth and friendliness, delighting them with typical Teramo specialties, expertly prepared with flavor and simplicity. Themed evenings are very popular, especially the one dedicated to cod. Yesterday, to save us a trip to Munich, he tried his hand at pork shank in beer with sautéed turnip tops (a touch of Italian flair), accompanied by potato and onion fritters, fried onions, black beans and speck, mashed potatoes, and apple strudel. A success... The shanks were superb, exceptional, and plentiful. Paulaner beer chilled at just the right temperature. Raniero and Sabrina, THANK YOU!!!

15/09/2025: Yesterday for lunch I went to eat with my family, including two small children. We had two appetizers, a first course, a second course, a half-liter of red wine, a liter of Coca-Cola, and a pasta dish for my son, and that's it... In my opinion, €65 without a receipt is a bit too much.

26/08/2025: The property is located near Lanciano, in a strategic area for enjoying the Trabocchi Coast every day and taking trips inland. The rooms are welcoming, clean, and comfortable, with private verandas, a small kitchen, and the option of dining on the veranda. But we rarely did so, because dining on the property was a pleasure for the senses and the soul: the food is excellent, and the hosts, Lorenzo and Nadia, are extremely kind, affable, and friendly. They listened to our needs and requests and always accommodated us. Lorenzo is also an excellent guide and will be able to advise you on the best villages and festivals to visit during your stay. You can also purchase the farm's excellent products (primarily olive oil and wine). Everything (stay, dinners, and products) is at very fair prices! The only downside is the lack of a washing machine, which can be a bit of a nuisance during extended stays. However, there is a coin-operated laundromat very close to Lanciano. We returned again this year and nothing has changed!! Thanks for the wonderful vacation!

14/11/2025: A lovely seafood restaurant, also offering a set menu. The option to choose between a stew with or without bones is a pleasant one. The idea of ​​cooking the pasta in the same earthenware bowl as the stew was is a good one. Friendly and attentive service. Excellent value for money.

23/10/2025: A seafood trattoria with authentic cuisine. Their specialty is fish soup, which is worth trying. They offer both a set menu and a selection of individual dishes at a reasonable price. The only flaw in my case was the dessert, or rather, a croissant cut in half with whipped cream all over it. I've never had a dessert like this at the end of a meal in my life... too bad they missed out on this! Maybe next time I'll do better. Otherwise, the waiters were helpful and the owner was friendly.
