Livio e Il Mare In Pescara

My boyfriend and I had lunch on Easter Monday at this restaurant. We both didn't know him and I must say that it was a really nice discovery. Specialized in raw products, especially oysters in particular. Family environment where we immediately found ourselves at ease, delicious and innovative dishes, I definitely recommend it to anyone who wants to try new flavours, success is guaranteed. We will be back very soon.

Best fish restaurant in Pescara! The owners traveled the world and have created a menu filled with specialties... Crudite appetizers is fresher then any sashimi I have had in my life. Pasta fresca is always daily made. Sonic, traditional and molecular cooking, anything to achieve perfect taste! The sweet selection was done from the heart, all recipes are personalized with incredible ideas, no spoilers. Come have a look!!!

Small and welcoming place, qualified and friendly staff. Excellent quality food where nothing is left to chance. I highly recommend letting yourself be guided in the choice of dishes by Mrs. Gilda, she will accompany you on a sensorial journey with extraordinary taste, including curiosities, anecdotes and laughter. Highly recommended.

Deliberately intimate, delicate, sober and welcoming environment. Fish cuisine from times gone by and firmly rooted in the seafood tradition with innovative recipes for both raw and first courses. Very friendly and entertaining owners. I will definitely be back with reinforcements.

Dear reader, I needed a seafood restaurant that was open on Sunday evenings. Given that in that period 99% of the restaurants in Pescara were open on Sunday only for lunch and reopened on Tuesday, I started looking for a restaurant for this fateful Sunday evening. And considering that I needed to make a good impression, having as guests two lovely and very nice women from Prague and other friends, I tried, by reading the reviews and the menus, to choose the most suitable place to spend a wonderful evening. It may have been my instinct... it may have been a pinch of luck... but we went to dinner at "LIVIO E IL MARE" and I can tell you and swear that, in 53 years of life, I had never had the opportunity to tasting such particular dishes, created and enriched by Livio, such an intimate and welcoming place, and feeling pampered, served and revered throughout the evening and, above all, having received the esteem of the invited friends... Until I discovered this place, I considered my most beautiful experience, in a ship-shaped restaurant located on the rocks of the famous Taranto, where I had a business lunch several years ago, where there were fishermen under the structure who took the fish and brought it back up... LIVIO is incredible, it deserves to become a famous place, but I think it's better that it remains for a few, for those who want to spend a magical evening... To write it I would have to write a book of those that are not forgotten for a lifetime.

Caro lettore, avevo bisogno di un Ristorante di Pesce che fosse aperto la Domenica sera. Dato che in quel periodo il 99% dei Ristoranti a Pescara erano aperti di Domenica solo a Pranzo per riaprire di Martedì, mi sono messo alla ricerca di un Ristorante per questa fatidica Domenica sera E considerato che avevo bisogno di fare bella figura, avendo come ospiti due graziose e simpaticissime donne di Praga e altri amici, ho cercato, leggendo le recensioni e i menù, di scegliere il posto più idoneo a trascorrere una Serata con i fiocchi Sarà il mio istinto... sarà stato un pizzico di fortuna... ma siamo stati a Cena da "LIVIO E IL MARE" e Vi posso dire e giurare che, in 53 anni di vita, non avevo mai avuto l'opportunità di assaggiare piatti così particolari, ideati e arricchiti da Livio, un posto così intimo e accogliente, e sentirmi coccolato, servito e riverito per tutta la Serata e, soprattutto, aver ricevuto la stima degli amici invitati... Fin quando non ho scoperto questo posto, consideravo la mia esperienza più bella, in un Ristorante a forma di Nave situato sui scogli della famosa Taranto, dove feci un pranzo di lavoro diversi anni fa, dove c'erano pescatori sotto la struttura che prendevano il pesce e lo riportavano su... LIVIO è incredibile, meriterebbe di diventare un posto famoso, ma penso sia meglio che rimanga per pochi, per chi vuole passare una Serata magica...

Pesce di qualità eccellente e i dolci pazzeschi! Una piacevolissima sorpresa che ha superato di molto le aspettative.(vendendo il locale dall’esterno). I proprietari persone gentili e disponibili. Ci ritorneremo sicuramente.
