21/12/2025: As soon as we arrived, the room smelled fresh, was warm, and very clean (although we later noticed dust under the beds, behind the TV, and on the mirror), and the staff was kind. I'd especially like to thank the youngest girl with very long dark hair because she was incredibly sweet, professional, and kind. She made me feel at home despite my and my son's fever and my own personal health at the time. That evening, they prepared a €5 pasta dish for the child, which was piping hot and overflowing the plate, and seemed truly unpalatable. I should add that the child also vomited afterwards. Speaking of which, when I called the front desk a second time to find out whether we should wait in the room for the sheets to be changed, since they'd also mentioned the possibility of perhaps changing rooms, the person who answered was annoyed, as if he thought I was rushing or judging the wait times. I just wanted to make sure, given that we weren't in the best of health with the child agitated and in need of sleep. I should point out that the person who answered my question told me the quickest way would be to change rooms (but we had unpacked luggage, etc., and we said we'd accept the quickest option anyway), then they said they'd arrive immediately and change our sheets. Who knows. Breakfast the next morning was obscene. Solid bread, hard croissants, and no way to reheat them, soggy kiwis and mandarins, very poor-quality yogurt, and everything else too. Limited selection, and of questionable quality. The wait for a coffee and a latte macchiato lasted just long enough for the lady to chat with the guests and slap another bill on the cash register, at her own pace. The reception desk was rundown. Initially, it seemed like a nice place, but then these things ruined everything. This place sells itself as professional, but then what? Too bad, and a huge thank you to the young lady.

21/04/2026: This was the best restaurant that we had the pleasure to eat at when visiting the Casoli area on a trip from the U.S. The owner was very accommodating to my vegetarian needs. The food was AMAZING!!!! I forgot to take a picture of our first pasta course but mine was pasta with a pesto sauce and it was so fresh and so tasty. Second course, she made me grilled mozzarella with fresh veggies, the best potatoes I’ve ever tasted in my life, and salad. Then for dessert I had the tiramisu. Although she appreciated our attempts at speaking Italian, she spoke English as well, and we had a wonderful conversation. She is very down to earth and sweet. If you are looking for delicious fresh food, definitely go here!!!

03/02/2026: Nice, clean place, but a little outdated. It's a small, family-run hotel. Breakfast is good, but it needs some renovations. Prices are fair.

07/04/2026: We stayed for Easter Monday and can't say anything other than perfect. An enchanting place overlooking a stream with quality dishes and attentive service. Despite our noise and requests, they did everything they could to accommodate us and make us feel at home.

04/05/2026: I ate here today and I can say it was a wonderful discovery! The restaurant offers truly authentic home cooking, the kind that makes you feel right at home. Each dish was carefully crafted, flavorful, and prepared with quality ingredients: you can really taste their passion for what they do. A great asset are definitely the owners, extremely kind and attentive, who create a welcoming, family-like atmosphere that makes the experience even more enjoyable. Plus, the quality-price ratio is excellent: you can eat very well without spending too much, which is no longer a given. Highly recommended for those looking for authentic flavors and a warm, authentic atmosphere. I will definitely be back!

12/09/2025: Authentic trattoria, where we ate AMAZING arrosticini! Also excellent were the cacio e ovo balls, the ravioli with ventricina, the cured meats and cheeses appetizer, and the pasta with lamb sauce. Very friendly staff, excellent prices. Children's playground, large garden, outdoor seating, and an indoor dining room.

15/05/2026: Unfortunately, my experience at this restaurant was decidedly negative. There were two of us, and we ordered: A portion of prosciutto al taglio; A portion of fried cheese (unfortunately, it arrived cold); A first course of fettuccine with artichokes and pecorino cheese; A rare steak; Two side dishes of chicory (so bitter it was inedible, almost all of it left on the plate); Sparkling water and a small bottle of house wine (not particularly high-quality). No dessert, no coffee. The main problem, besides the inconsistent quality of the dishes, was the final bill: 80 euros. An absolutely disproportionate amount for what we ate and the type of service provided. To make matters worse, the payment was made without a receipt, something I unfortunately didn't ask for at the time due to my inattention, but which I find unprofessional. I would have expected more transparency given such a high price for an otherwise ordinary dinner. An experience not to be repeated. I won't go back there again.

01/05/2026: A beautiful location surrounded by greenery, the room (at least ours) wasn't great... quite the opposite. But the food is top-notch, in fact, I'd say very top-notch! Everything from the appetizers to the first courses to the meats is top-notch! Definitely worth trying again if I'm in the area again. Wide selection of wines and very friendly owners.

16/06/2026: Excellent dinner with high-quality, home-made dishes at great prices. Super-soft cheese and eggs, perfectly cooked arrosticini. Very friendly service. The agriturismo is surrounded by nature with views of the fields. There are also geese and chickens and a children's play area.

05/05/2026: Beautiful campsite located in the valley between Opi and Villetta Barrea. The Sangro River flows along its inner boundary. The river branched off to power the mill. A truly beautiful, completely flat site where children can have fun riding bikes and playing safely. Tents and campers are welcome. The entire area is lit by streetlights scattered throughout the campsite. The old mill also has a bar and a restaurant/pizzeria serving excellent cuisine. Prices are reasonable and affordable. Drinkable water is available from the fountains scattered around. Camper loading and unloading areas are easily accessible. Hot showers are included in the price, and bathrooms are clean. Recommended.

03/05/2026: I've stayed at this property in the past and even left a positive review for the restaurant, which I confirm is good. Unfortunately, the experience was completely different and disappointing. We booked a bungalow (No. 1) for two nights, paying €150 in advance. The evening of our arrival, returning around 10:00 PM, we realized the air conditioning wasn't working. Considering the property is located in the mountains (Opi), the night was very cold, and the solution offered—a simple heater—proved to be completely inadequate. The next morning, it was impossible to even take a shower because of the cold. I contacted the management: the lady was helpful and apologetic, while the manager I spoke to later was unsympathetic, almost annoyed, and didn't acknowledge the inconvenience, even though we were traveling with a child. In the end, I was refunded less than the amount due (€70 instead of €75), which I found unfair given the situation. I'd like to point out that the restaurant is not included in this review, but the bungalow experience was negative and didn't live up to expectations. After leaving the property, we found accommodations in a nearby B&B, similarly priced but with much better service, including an excellent breakfast. I therefore recommend choosing your accommodations carefully.
