02/11/2025: Usually, everything's fine. Lately, they've had a less-than-pet-friendly policy. It's a shame because we've been customers for 10 years and it's never happened to us. I repeat, it's a shame to lose loyal customers like this.

11/09/2025: The food was really bad, the quality was poor, the soy sauce wasn't good, and the service was poor. Luckily, there are better options nearby.

30/08/2025: An all-you-can-eat restaurant with a fairly varied menu, but several delicious dishes are missing. To make rolls with Venere rice, black rice is mixed with white rice to save money. Simply cooking them together turns the white rice a dark pink, but the difference between the two types of rice is noticeable during preparation. There's only a fork on the table; you have to order everything with a tablet, even the knife, chopsticks, and soy sauce. The dishes are average; the salmon tataki wasn't made properly because it wasn't seared and the sesame seeds were missing. The gunkan with frambé sauce had no sauce at all, just half a pistachio. What pleasantly surprised me, however, was finding whole flowers in the jasmine tea, not the usual teabag.

11/11/2025: We had dinner (so to speak) two nights ago, ordering two poke bowls. What can I say? Absolute horror, frozen food, and a complete mess. The rice was all in one piece and missing the seasoning I'd requested, namely oil. Protein, sides, and toppings were optional; it was all rice, and it was so awful we left it on the table. The waiter and cashier didn't even ask why or if everything was okay. I wouldn't recommend it even to my worst enemy, to be honest.

23/08/2025: This is the third kombu we've visited, and it's definitely one of the best in terms of food production. The menu is the same throughout the chain. The service was also excellent. We ate outside, and since it was August, there was less traffic. Less eco-friendly due to the use of plastic tableware.

11/11/2025: The food was very fresh and delicious. Everything I ordered was amazing, and the service was exceptional. The staff was very friendly and helpful in explaining the menu, and they were also very accommodating in removing the seaweed from my sushi. I ordered the Temaki Rose Angel, Nigiri Shake Fire, Ura Roll Canyon Flambé, Ramen Yasai, and the Gamberetti al Wok — the grilled shrimp was so good that I reordered it twice! I personally love grilled shrimp. The rolls were also delicious, especially with cream cheese. All of my selections were vegetarian-friendly and strictly seafood — no meat dishes were ordered. Highly recommended!

10/09/2025: Nice location, the tables are a bit close together but overall comfortable. The service was friendly and fairly quick, and the food was well-made and, in my opinion, of good quality.

28/09/2025: Booked through TheFork for a 50% discount. Very fast service, and the waiters are friendly. I recommend the ramen, which is really good. The sushi was also good; we were quite satisfied. Although the place seems a bit far away, there are actually plenty of buses that pass nearby. It's not far from the Tricolore metro station. Total price ±€35 with a 50% discount from TheFork (cover charge and drinks are charged separately, on a separate receipt). Reservations are recommended.

12/10/2025: The rolls were so small they felt like they were at an all-you-can-eat restaurant. It's a shame the price was ridiculously high. Not to mention that they always find an excuse not to use the discount coupons they send by email. Terrible.

26/10/2025: A very nice place to spend a romantic evening or with friends. I go there often, both for dinner and lunch, or I order takeout to eat at home, and I've never been disappointed. The staff is always very friendly, and the food is always good. I highly recommend it.

06/10/2025: The sushi, for what we ordered, was only slightly better than that at nearby supermarkets (Slunga and Coop); the variety was simply much wider. Since two of us ordered five dishes (there's a fixed price of 28 euros each) and hadn't touched the fifth, it's unclear why we couldn't have a sushi bag. Had we cleverly ordered 10 and eaten 4, I could understand—but 4 out of 5 simply means it was, albeit slightly, too much for us and that we were entitled to take that little bit home, as is done everywhere these days—no way. The waitress (drinks aside) offered us sake (5 euros for a pitcher for two), saying that if we wanted more, it was no problem. There were, however, problems: a second pitcher costs another 5 euros. Totally unscrupulous. I STRONGLY DO NOT RECOMMEND.

20/09/2025: I've been there twice. The first time was decent, but the second time, unfortunately, I didn't like it. As soon as you walk in, you can smell the smell. The sushi didn't seem fresh, and I personally didn't like the taste at all. There was something about the rolls and the salmon that didn't convince me. The kindness is there, but that's not everything.

30/09/2025: Hello! I had dinner at your restaurant, as you were one of the few open on Sunday evenings. I want to mention the beauty of the restaurant, the pleasant music, and the wonderful staff. They even had a delivery robot! Everything was prepared very quickly, and the fish was perfect! They even gave me a fortune cookie. I read that tipping Japanese and Chinese people is offensive, so I was afraid to do so, but I absolutely loved this place! Forgive me if I'm mistaken🥹❤️

14/09/2025: The place is cute, classic Chinese style, the food is excellent and, most importantly, affordable. They serve dishes very quickly. The chef makes everything fresh, and the quality is truly excellent. Plus, the owner, Luisa, is always very friendly and helpful. Highly recommended 👍🏻

Thanks to Marco Larosa, last night my husband and I spent a wonderful evening in a very evocative location, with excellent dishes made with top-quality ingredients, expertly prepared by expert hands. You're wondering where? All this at the Naka Restaurant, drinks & sushi with Mediterranean cuisine, right at the foot of Her Majesty the Cathedral. You can dine both inside and outside: we opted for the outside. The place is truly refined, very elegant. The table setting is very minimal, but with very refined touches, from the lamp to the metal chopsticks. Not to mention the real gem that really makes a difference these days...the champagne served in its 1920s-style glass. Truly remarkable!! (Enough with champagne served in a Prosecco flute... here at Naka, class is not water 😉.) Let's get to the food: the menu is well-described, divided into two lists for sushi and Mediterranean dishes. We opted for sushi; I don't remember the names of the dishes, but with sea urchins, Mazzara red shrimp, truffle, tuna, salmon...seaweed, and the excellent rice, it was a true taste experience, and each piece was an explosion of distinct flavors that blended divinely. In short, Naka confirms itself as a top place to return to again and again with great pleasure and the certainty of not being disappointed. 20/09/2025: A very refined, modern, and welcoming venue, ideal for both a romantic dinner and an evening with friends. The menu is extensive and varied: traditional sushi as well as many creative and fusion options, all prepared with the freshest fish and quality ingredients. The service is fast, and the staff is always friendly and available to offer advice. Prices are reasonable for the quality. Definitely one of the best sushi spots in Catanzaro, highly recommended!
