La qualità del pesce è massima; mangiado si percepisce quanta cura lo chef metta nella selezione delle materie prime. A breve ritornerò per gustare altre preparazioni.

14/06/2025: Xin Fu Ji is a great choice for a tasty Chinese lunch without spending a fortune. I found both the fried rice with vegetables and the sweet and sour shrimp very good, tasty and well cooked. The staff is very friendly and the service is quick, perfect for a lunch break during the working day. A simple restaurant that does its job: good quality, honest prices and a always courteous welcome. Promoted!

10/06/2025: An experience to forget! I was a regular customer, I came back after years and I found it worse. Terrible food, worse service (except for the waiter who is also at the cash register who was very polite), a waitress to be slapped and what else can I add…..I anxiously await the nighttime diarrhoea. Tomorrow I will give you updates.

28/12/2024: We ended up there by chance, without any pretensions or expectations, but fate rewarded us with an incredible experience. We weren't very hungry, coming from two intense days of Umbrian cuisine, we ordered for two, 2 appetizers (they deserve an honorable mention) that shocked our palate, the waiter was very kind in recommending them and telling us about them with an enthusiasm that overwhelmed us, I included the photos because the eye also appreciated them (beef tongue and amberjack head), we then had a mixed sashimi, very good and 2 portions of Uramaki for 8 that (no offense) were not up to the level of the rest, although good and finally a very good dessert. Wide selection of wines and very good also in drinks (we had 3). Total cost €106 for two, very well spent. They literally turned our evening around, well done, well done, well done!

08/06/2025: The location has changed, but not the substance. Kukai is moving, but it brings with it the same excellence that has made it a point of reference for signature Japanese cuisine. Massimiliano Neri, attentive and passionate owner, continues to take care of every detail with the precision of a Swiss watchmaker and the sensitivity of someone who has made hospitality an art. The atmosphere is refined without being pretentious, the service impeccable, always present but never intrusive. The quality of the dishes? It remains the beating heart of the Kukai experience. I can only consider myself a moderately qualified customer to judge such complex and nuanced cuisine, but those who were with me that evening left no room for doubt. My companions, Japanese and restaurateurs themselves in the land of the Rising Sun, expressed sincere appreciation for each course. A detail that, more than any personal opinion, confirms the authenticity and high level achieved by Kukai cuisine. Each dish tells a story of technique, respect for tradition and contemporary vision. Kukai is not just a Japanese restaurant in Italy. It is a place where Japanese gastronomic culture is honored with absolute dedication. An experience to repeat!!! Soon.

04/06/2025: The food was incredible! Even a good selection of vegan options. The mixed rolls were fantastic. Lots of flavor, and much more elaborate (in a good way) than the usual avocado roll. Highly recommend!

16/06/2025: Dining at this restaurant was a true culinary experience. The kindness and preparation of the owner Simone accompanied us throughout the evening, his love for sushi and passion for his work we felt from the first to the last dish. The staff is courteous, never intrusive and always attentive to any request. And last but not least, the quality of the fish and sushi was the icing on the cake of this fantastic dinner. We will come back to visit you, without a shadow of a doubt. Thank you!

Amazing food and very friendly waiters, thanks for the experience 😍 Unfortunately we visited this place for the last evening of our stay near Garda. Otherwise we would definitely have came back to try more food on the menu!
